  6. My dad was in the Navy when I was growing up, and we lived in Japan for 3 years. Japan is really a different place. The people there are wonderful, and having the opportunity to see a different culture was a blessing. One of my fondest memories was hiking to the top of Mount Fuji.

  9. I too lived in Japan as an Army brat-enjoyed living there as a child-we lived on the army base but my Dad took us to a lot of places. I was just talking to a coworker who's mother is Japanese
about the Japanese holidays and how in school we dressed up in kimonos and paraded around the block. She paid for her mother to go back last year and the tickets were expensive. I also am wondering who went with Josh and Anna

  11. Why must people always bring up money? Most likely they are taking this trip to benefit others. An honorable way to spend their money. Hope they're having a fun time! :)

  14. That's great I'm glad they made it safe and sound! Thanks for letting us know Lily and Ellie!!! I do not see why it matters about the money if it is Josh and Anna or if it is TLC that paid for it?? why is everyone asking who paid for it?? It's really isnt anyones business. It dose not matter!!! I hope Anna Josh and the Kids have a GREAT time on this mission trip!!
    God bless!

  18. It was said in a couple posts back that they went to Tokyo on a missions trip. Its ok to be happy for people, just cause we dont understand something doesnt mean there was scandal involved. Also just because Jesus didnt consult you before ok'ing a missions trip to tokyo for Josh and Anna, doesnt mean it was a scandalous decision.

  19. Just read that the entire Duggar family was spotted in Japan. So looks like another TLC paid vacation and not a mission trip. And no Josh is not finally doing something with out his parents for a change. Hope the Bates with help from TLC will get to have one of these vacations as well.

  20. I think it's awesome they are in Tokyo on a missions trip. From what I know through the Christian Missionary and Alliance Church mission trips, some of the costs are usually defrayed through fundraising and some is a result of saving up.

  21. Safe trip to Josh, Anna & the children! I was wondering if they were bringing the children-glad they did. Its hard being separated from your children when they are little! Honsetly it isn't really anyone's business but theirs as to how it was paid for!

  28. Doesn't look like Josh's heart is too much on his mission work if he
is checking up and posting about football. Why not post pictures of the people he is ministring to.
Josh does not even go to El Salvador anymore. He stays home with Anna and his children. It is his choice.
