  1. Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. The piece of wedding dress and the blue heart from the maid of honors' dresses. So sweet!

  7. Why wasn't this beautiful moment part of the wedding show? Thank you for sharing it. TLC really dropped the ball.

  8. TLC really dropped the ball on this episode. Things were left out that would have made it a much better show.

  11. This was the best 19 kids show I have seen yet. Of course I haven't seen Jessa's wedding(and I may like that more because Jess is my favorite!). Jill and Derick, God bless your marriage!

  12. I hope that Jill was told a teensy bit about marriage not being all fun & games. It’s so sweet to tell her how wonderful marriage is, & that her days will only get sweeter. Grandma hinted that she’ll have to focus on him. Probably behind scenes someone said that there will be tough times along with good, & the first year of marriage is such an adjustment, it’s really the hardest year.

  13. As I was driving home today, I was reflecting on Jill's wedding and your amazing family. As a mom and grandmother myself, I admire the job you've done with your children and raising them up in The Lord. I cried out to God to restore our relationship with our oldest son that has struggled with issues for over 20 years. We're heartbroken and have prayed and prayed. We are still waiting on God's timing. I wish I'd have grown up in a home like yours, but that is not what God had for me. However, I've done my best since accepting Him into my life 20 years ago. He has restored my marriage, my soul, and my life. If I had one trivial wish, it would be to meet your family someday. However, I KNOW I'll get to meet you in heaven....that's a nice thought! You've done a wonderful job with your children, and it's all by God's grace and your obedience and faith....and help from the Holy Spirit. I wish the world were filled with families like yours. God Bless. Have you ever thought of having a "spend the day with the Duggars" contest? I'd be the first to sign up :)

  14. Been watching this show for many years. Loved the wedding last night. I do wish the Producers would give up the repetitions of comments from all of you. Most of the viewers probably "got it" the first time and don't need to hear the same comments over & over & over. Otherwise it is a hugely uplifting program and Praise God for every one of you and the Witness you are for Jesus!

    1. I agree. I also think they repeated Jill and Derrick's story constantly when I already knew what was going on. I also wish they would go more in depth about other things in their lives.

  16. This would have been a beautiful moment in the show - could have had one or two less interviews with how everyone felt about her leaving, and had the 3 generation part as shown above. Too bad we didn't get to see it.

  21. What a wonderful testimony for families with children getting ready for courtship or marriage.
May God bless your journey together Jill and Derrick and everything you do in this life..
You are an inspiration to all couples that love the Lord.
