  1. Why do they act like their way is the only way? And why do they thank God for having normal desires? What does normal desires mean? Are ther desires that aren't normal?

  3. It's not the only way, but it is the most fulfilling way. I think it is wonderful that there are children being raised caring for themselves, praying for their future, serving the Lord wholeheartedly.

  7. I believe you didn't read the "leave your comment" statement when you commented. This is both insulting and poor taste, and I'm sure others agree.

  12. I really appreciated what Anna said about 'this is the day the Lord has made'. It really helps to focus on God and His desires for you and will for you in each day, not just wedding days. What a blessing to have a beautiful Christian family. Thank you for sharing.

  14. To be in God's will and to be obedient to the word of God is the only way. You thank God that he has given you the desire to want to be with the opposite sex and to want to get married and have a family (which are also normal desires). Abnormal desires are to want to be in a same sex relationship. To not want to be in God's will or be obedient to his word. To want your own will to be done and not his. I hope that this helps you to understand better.

  15. Thank-;you SO much Priscilla and Anna for so thoughtfully and nicely sharing this story. I admire both of you lovely women and to find out more about how you got to where you are today is very interesting to me. That Priscilla was 25 when she began courting for the first time is a fact that was news to me. Priscilla looked lovely on her wedding day and I thought she was younger in her years than 25. It really is important to find out the mind and heart of a young woman who waits for God's timing and purposes to serve the Lord while she waits on the Lord to lead her because others will be going through that same part of life. This is a very helpful video, thanks:)!

  16. Hunger is a natural desire and people spend so much time in training around eating and there are things we know to do and not to do. For example we do not just go into a grocery store grab food and eat it right there and then walk out without paying for it. It is a good thing that the Duggars and families are opening up and talking to our sin sick society about natural desires and managing them.

It is possible that they may be referencing physical attraction to the same sex as an abnormal desire.

  19. When I was 25 I was a college graduate and serving as a Naval Officer overseas. In other words, I was an adult doing adult things and not needing or expecting my parents' permission to meet others or date. I do not see maturity or growth in the courting rituals advocated herein.

  20. I like what Anna said about the day not being all about the bride. That was very mature and wise.

  21. I absolutely LOVE the message and the fact that the Duggers and their extended families are sharing such important and relevant witness about their faith. All those who don't like their message, I ask you why you need to make YOUR way more important than theirs? Why your faith or lack thereof is more important than theirs? We live in a free country (still) and they have as much right to share as any of the other "reality" families do. If you don't like the Duggers lifestyle and message, there is PLENTY of other choices for entertainment for you to spend your time with.

To the Duggars and family...Thank you for your Gidly message and lifestyle. I am grateful for you and all that you do. God Bless You and your ministry.

Great message, i just wish people would take heed and listen. But reality is that there will always be negative people who visit Duggar sites for the sole purpose of them trying to upset us fans.Misery loves company.I will never never understand why someone would want to visit a site of people they dislike.Maybe they are bored, misunderstood or depressed, i really cant answer

  25. I think the duggars need to except that their, are many different forms of religious beliefs and non believes or atheists and that its ok for ppl to have these beliefs and their is not such thing as the "right" belief, I think it beautiful that their are so many different religions and they all have their own belief system, and culture, it ok to be atheist but don't be down on ppl beliefs, its ok to be religious but not be down of other religions and atheists, in end its all about you are as a person and learning to expect people ans love<3

  26. Since others commented on the content, let me just add that I love Priscilla's "makeover". Her new hairstyle is more mature and she is just beautiful. Anna is pretty as always and I like her hair a little on the darker side. Yes, a great message as well, except I think the wedding day can be about the Lord AND the bride. I think the Lord would not mind. :)

  30. I just have a really hard time listening to Priscilla speak. Is it that the pace of her speech is slow? Is it that she always seems to be searching for the right words?

  31. Wonderful family-so enjoyable to see families with love, encouragement, music and of course faith. Hopefully people will realize that there is definitely more to life than much of the immoral stories on television. Absolutely fantastic -keep up the great inspiring messages in your daily lives as shown to us on television. Regards from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada.

  32. Why does Jessa talks about the holocaust and then registers in walmart for a bunch of rifles and knifes. That is not a christians lady image. So sad not the same Duggars oce I admired.

    1. I also view guns and rifles as contrary to Jesus' message. Images of anyone holding guns does not give one an impress of Chrisitian love, even if the intention is for hunting

    2. Jessa has nothing to do with this video of Anna and Pricilla.

  33. Wow, they're both so sweet and this video was so refreshing for me...it's been a long time since I've heard such wise and selfless words...(I don't hang around with such people like Anna and Priscilla...and I guess also, such women are one in a million in this world). So thank you ladies for being so set apart and precious role models.

  37. Re: post at 6:25 - you are so right. What kind of person registers for guns as a wedding gift. Maybe she can pose with them on the big day! I used to like this show but it's become another fake reality show - actors who are nothing like how they appear with a complete agenda of their own. In the Duggars case it seems to be about promoting a right wing agenda and making money. Too bad.

  39. wow after watching the video its amazing at how anna and her sister sound alike and their actions as they speak are alike, and yes I now they are sisters

    ReplyDelete
  40. @Anonymous Just because she registered for rifles does not mean she is going to kill someone. It could be for her Ben to go hunting with. In a way, you are judging her... just saying.

  41. is Priscilla pregnant with a boy or a girl? Does anyone know?
Anyway, I believe the baby will be as precious as Paul is

    ReplyDelete
  42. I, too, would like to know what an "unmarked person" is. I think it's an unbaptized one?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Normal desires are the desire to have a relationship with others. And for a christian a desire for the opposite sex. That is Gods design. But the devil loves nothing more than to pervert anything God created.
There is nothing wrong with guns. A gun in and of itself cannot kill or harm. But put a person without self control, discipline, compassion, commonsense and a knowledge of right or wrong behind it and it becomes a killing machine. The same goes for cars and kitchen knives. Guns can be useful for hunting or if necessary for self defense.
And while God is a God of love, He is also a just and jealous God. Please dont put Him in a box and sissify Him. And there is nothing that forbids a christian from owning a gun. But God will judge and deliver justice to anyone who uses it for evil.

  44. God put animals on this earth to hunt and eat, it would be selfish to egnore such gifts is it not?

  45. In my Christian faith, we say 'those marked with the sign of faith", meaning baptism. I wonder what their definition of that is? Please respond as I would like to learn what their "lingo" means appropriately.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I love their message but,iIt's difficult to hear and understand Priscilla. Anna speaks very clearly and is lovingly patient waiting for her sister to finish her comment.

  47. Dear God,
Please forgive each one of us and please have mercy on us all. We all make mistakes, we all judge and we all are sinners. Thank you for your Son Jesus, who took our sins with Him to the cross. Thank you God that you love us all, even when we don't show love for one another, or for you.

I don't know what form of Christianity you follow. But last time I checked the bible tells of animals being killed and used for sacrifice, and being used in the making of a covenant between two people or people groups. I also recall God telling Noah he could now eat meat, as after the flood do you think there would be any plant life left? So if it's unchristian to kill animals and use them for food then what was he supposed to eat? God Himself has provided some animals that we are allowed to use for food, but he also says in proverbs that a "wise man regardeth the life of his beast". Those animals that are to be used for work, our pleasure and those not allowed to be eaten as it is deemed "unclean" should be well loved and cared for. Animals ultimately have no Kingdom purpose. (Meaning they are not made for the purpose of adding to Gods kingdom. They are unable to witness and they have no eternal soul. But that's not to say they don't go to heaven) there is nothing biblically wrong with the slaughtering of animals.
Let me ask, why did God replace Adam and Eve's clothing of fig leaves with animal skins? Because their sin required a blood sacrifice. It was a picture of Christs blood sacrifice for us. Why was cains offering or plants and vegetables despicable to God? Yet God loved Abels animal sacrifices? Because it was another picture of a blood sacrifice being the only acceptable thing to cover sin. Your opinion, respectively fully. Is one of personal belief, choice and feelings. It is not based on anything scriptural.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @Anonymous@54... Do you eat meat? Animals were meant to be ate. We have to eat to live. To each their own. Just saying

  50. An "unmarked" young person, as opposed to a "marked" one is one who hasn't had a physical relationship before marriage. Basically everyone who is pure. Though I would think others would need to see it too. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  51. i love the way they are so honest and open about themselves and their faith, wish both families would put up more videos like this instead of the everyday stuff we see on TLC!
