Duggars at Fort Rock This Weekend

Looking for a last-minute getaway opportunity for you and your spouse? This weekend, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar will join guests at Fort Rock Family Camp in Combs, Arkansas. The retreat costs $175-$275, depending on accommodations, and there is still space available. Click here for more information.

Jim Bob and Michelle and their family have attended dozens of retreats at Fort Rock since meeting founders Terry and Roxanne Forsyth in 2002. Here is a message from the Duggars:

Our family met the Forsyth’s back in 2002 when they had just moved from Texas to Arkansas with the vision of Fort Rock Family Camp. We have literally watched this vision transform into a first class camp and retreat center. If you are looking for a unique family camp experience, Fort Rock’s various events offer not only a fun vacation, but also a safe, Christian environment for your whole family to enjoy!

More than an Old West adventure, Fort Rock’s camps are designed to draw families closer together, promote teamwork, and realize the value of each family member. If you’re searching for an affordable getaway with your family, and we highly recommend Fort Rock!
Who knows? We might see you there!

  1. Thank you for having such a wonderful family. I enjoy watching all of you, I found you when you only had 14 children and I've been hooked ever since. Looking foward to the wedding in a couple of weeks. My best wishes to both of your young ladies as they start their new lives. May God continue to bless you all.

  5. Could someone please tell me how to do the neck inserts like the one Michelle is wearing in the photo? I have often wondered how they are done.... i.e. are they T's worn under the shirt, or inserts that are sewn in? I was going to ask this question once before, and cannot remember if I actually did or not, so please forgive if it is a repeat! :) Thanks to anyone who can answer.

    Hi Julie,

How thoughtful of you. Here is the link to Jill and Derick's Walmart registry: http://www.walmart.com/giftregistry/gr_detail.do?registryId=86182564264

If you purchased the gifts from that list, you can rest assured that they will be delivered to Jill and Derick. :)

    Hi Anonymous 7,

The Duggars support a number of ministries, including Voice of the Martyrs, S.O.S. Ministries, New Tribes Mission, and Life United.

  11. The quote from the Duggars makes it seem like this is a family camp this weekend but the link goes to a couples retreat page to which children over 18 months are not welcomed. The link site says that is the retreat that the Duggars are going to. Those other valuable persons in the Duggar family are all at home this weekend while Dad and Mom are on retreat. This weekend would have been my parents anniversary. It is much better for the kids in the family to miss the parents for a few days while they recharge their batteries than to have the parents discouraged and etc. I hope they have a good weekend. I won't be there. Nice vicarious fantasy though.

  12. I have to send our regrets that we will NOT be attending any sort of camps at the Fort Rock property. We were considering it until my DH looked over the camp Facebook page. There are some very, well, worldly poses being exhibited by some young ladies in one of the blogs from a summer camp. We spent some time in prayer and believe this is not our kind of place. Thanks anyway.
