Duggar Brother Starts a Courtship

Less than one week after announcing Joy-Anna Duggar's engagement, the Duggars have more exciting news to share. Another Duggar courtship has begun! This time, it's one of the Duggar brothers. Congratulations to Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell!

Joseph made it official yesterday (March 7th) while on a walk with Kendra in a field near the house where he was born. He gave her a promise ring to symbolize his commitment. Hear from the couple in the video below.

For those of you who have been waiting for an update on Josiah Duggar's courtship with Marjorie Jackson, we have one to share. Their relationship is progressing well, and they are enjoying every chance they have to spend with each other. And who knows? There might be another Duggar wedding in the not-so-distant future.

Is John in a Courtship?

The media sure loves the Duggars...especially the gossip sites! Rumor has it that John-David Duggar is in a courtship.

This afternoon, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar released a statement to put that rumor to rest: 

John is not courting and not in a relationship...and he has never been in one! Just thought we'd set that straight. He's still waiting for the right one at the right time.

Jim Bob, who has tried multiple times to find someone for John, joked in a recent episode that he is accepting applications from eligible women.

A Duggar Engaged: Exclusive Photos

Nine days after announcing  the courtship of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard, which began in November, the Duggars have another big announcement to make. Jill and Derick are engaged!

Now that the couple is engaged, they have begun holding hands. 

"I feel like I'm dreaming," Derick told People Magazine. "It was great to grab her hand for the first time."

"I am so happy," Jill told People. "Our story is so very unique. The first time we talked, he was in Japan, we met in Nepal, he spent time in India and Israel and then came back to Arkansas where he met my family. We have a very international story even though we live so close."

Derick purchased the ring while visiting Israel in January and popped the question at the end of March.
