  1. They all seem more open to speak and comfortable with this lady than the last one

    2. Probably because they weren't defrauded by the this lady's clothes, unlike the Starr woman.

    3. I agree. She draws them out of themselves really well...and her personality and joyfulness is a much better match!

    4. Did you all know the host, Daphne Oz, is the daughter of Dr. Oz?!

    5. She reminds me of Sierra!

    6. Yes, we did. She's on TV...

    7. Yes! Dr. Oz's daughter is the host! :)

    8. And she is/was on The Chew

    9. Because she's "real" & relatable, not stiff. The other 'lady' didn't know what to make of them! 😬

    10. No I didn't know 2:52. That is cool! She is pretty!

    1. I bet she likes to be known as her own person, as a television personality on "The Chew", not "ofoz".

    2. This also a regular on ABC's The Chew which is on at noon Central Time on ABC.

    3. Enjoyed this so much...I feel they are able to voice their opinion without the concern of their parents advice. A sweet family!

  5. Can you please give an update on Jill?? The silence about her and Samuel makes me believe something is very very wrong. Prayers going out to her and baby Sam!!!

    1. I think something went terribly wrong. She is not even holding the baby. He is propped in one arm with husband helping hold him on side with arm she is not using.

    2. Let the family have some private time. They don't owe you or anyone else every intimate detail of their lives. They are obviously enjoying life and you need to get out and do something with yours.

    3. It's awfu) that no matter what they say or do, they'll Always be ostracized, makes me sad!

    4. @1:02 I highly doubt that Michelle and Jimbob would go to Hawaii if something was wrong with Jill and Samuel.

    5. Anon @ 9:13. Jimbob and Michelle went off to do a speaking engagement a few years ago when Josie was still very little knowing about her 'glitches'. The little girl had a siezure which terrified poor Jana, thank heavans one of the production crew stepped in. So I do think they would go away, perhaps thinking things are not as serious as they are, and there are others there to cover an emergency.

  6. So which rule did they break?

    1. They hugged and it wasn't a full side hug!!! Big deal of nothing!!!

      Delete
    2. It's always made out to be way more than it ever is in the end. Probably next to nothing significant.

      Delete
    3. It was actually a half side-hug, not a full frontal hug, either! They're married now, purity intact. God bless you good! 😇

      Delete
    4. Shoot, most couples do much much more than hug when they get a proposal!

  7. I look forward to these kinds of episodes, but find it disappointing that the same questions are asked over and over. For example the courtship rules: this has been explained many many times that each Duggar child entering into a courtship is encouraged by Jim Bob and Michelle to create their own courtship rules. Once it has been explained for the hundredth time on a show like this, the host then sets about trying catch a couple out with a "gotcha" moment. I love Austin's response: "we are only human". Exactly. The Duggars, like many of us are striving in their lives to be better humans. Sometimes they are, sometimes they are not. Standards are set and each individual is doing their best to meet those standards and as humans will sometimes not quite match those standards. I also really liked John's response to more of this type of questioning last week, by the host, when he summed it up by saying, [in courtship] "we are trying to live with as few regrets as possible". That really stuck with me all last week. Isn't that what all of us should be striving to do in every aspect of our lives? To live in a manner that leaves us with few regrets. Eileen

    4. "I do not read long comments."

      Lol k

    5. I like when long comments are broken into paragraphs.

  8. It was still pretty much a side hug! It certainly was not a full-on frontal hug, so they shouldn't even be getting teased about it. The Bates family, on the other hand, has full-on frontal hugs, especially Carlin with her new boyfriend Evan. Joy and Austin were still very modest, and they handled the teasing with humor!!!

    1. The Bates and the Duggars do not have all the same rules. They are different people with different people with different standards! :D

      Delete
    2. 7/24/17 2:24pm. Joy and Austin did handle it well, the family has a sense of humor, thank goodness! It's been fun to watch them go from each stage (friends, courting engage & wed) in comparison to the show (I also watch the Bates)...💓💓💓💓

  9. I wouldn't call that a full hug at all. They hyped it up a lot here and there's nothing to "confess". All publicity.

  10. said they never broke any courtship rules? guess they lied

    1. No, not really, in all fairness! 😀

      Delete
    2. When did they say that? Last week none of them really answered. Also they make up the rules for themselves, so if they break a rule it isn't necessarily bad. It is better to hold yourself to high standards and then fall short a little then set the bar low.

      Delete
    3. If that is the only thing in life they "flower" they will be fine folks....all these rules are guidelines. If they have respect for themselves and each other it's all good.

      Delete
    4. Why make courtship rules if you're gonna break em??

  11. What about after ben proposed to jessa they hugged front on and they held hands before he proposed.

    ReplyDelete
  12. This host talks too much and I found some of her statements to go against what the Duggars believe.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Her job was to speak and lead them. That's what an interview is.
What was against beliefs? I missed that...

    2. She talked about being physical before marriage.

  13. Jill and Derieck did it too, when she meet him at the airport when he came home from his mission trip from Israel

  14. Even though I know the outcome, I still like watching the show.

  15. Did Joy and Austin accidentally hold hands? Forget the chaperone? Say "I love you" without being engaged yet? Or some other equally heinous courtship breach? Whatever it was, it obviously did no permanent harm nor stop the marriage from happening.

  16. Do either of the bloggers know what is going on with Jill? There has been one photograph of her since Samuel was born and she looked like she was crying in that?????????????

  17. Hope the new season (well hard to call a few episodes a season) is different - to keep me interested they must bring back Jim Bob and Michelle and the little kids.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ben and Jessa also had a full front hug when they got engaged, and I don't recall them ever being chided or apologizing for it. Nor should they; it was very sweet and loving, and I see nothing wrong with a couple sharing a front hug at the moment of their engagement. It's a very emotional moment and I think it's sweet when the couples forget about the side-hug rule in their excitement.
