Summer will be here before you know it, and with it will come new episodes of Counting On. Until then, we know you will enjoy this new webisode. Anna Duggar and Jana Duggar, with help from the little girls, are setting up for Jinger Duggar's bridal shower. They are expecting about 80 guests, and although that sounds like a lot, it is fairly common for Duggar gatherings.
If you enjoy this blog, check out our other blogs (NashvilleWife.com and BatesFamilyBlog.com).

We have already seen enough of Jinger's shower. Why post more of the past stuff? Anna already looks pregnant here. Sad for her.
ReplyDeleteThen click off here..... simple
DeleteWhy you see it than and reserved those negative comments for yourself
DeletePeople have a right to post their opinions. I enjoy reading a variety of perspectives.
DeleteDo not judge! Her decision is her decision!!! If she chooses to forgive who are we to question!!!
DeleteNot your place to judge!! If Anna chooses to forgive, that is her choice not ours.
DeleteWhy such rude comments?
DeleteLeeAnn Quite the overreaction on your part. 1:07 simply stated she was sad for Anna. She wasn't condemning her. I'm sad for her, too, and wouldn't want to be in her shoes.
DeleteWhat we would REALLY like to see, Mr. & Mrs. Dillard, is a financial spread sheet which shows exactly where every dime that's collected for your "ministry" is going.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet we never see it here.
Why should they have to provide it? Do you donate? If not, then it's none of your business. They provide the charity tax form to contributors just like any other non-profit does
DeleteTHATS what you really want to see????
DeleteMind our our life, thats what I would like to see.
If you dont like the Duggars don't read blogs about them! It doesn't make sense! I don't go reading athiest blogs or any other blogs I dont agree with!
I agree! Where does all the money go???
DeleteNone of your business.....God is in control not you....
DeleteDude...that's personal information. They don't have to put everything out publicly if they don't want to...:}
Delete@ Anonymous March 24, 2017 at 1:09 PM - Why? Did you personally give to their ministry? Will you put a financial spread sheet that shows exactly where every dime of YOURS goes?
DeleteUnless you donated it's really none of your business.
DeleteSeriously, that is old news that was confirmed to be made up. Stop believing everything you read on the internet.
DeleteWhy isn't this rubbish from a obvious troll deleted already?
DeleteI totally agree!
DeleteGet over it!! Are you personally funding their mission? Bet you haven't donated one penny.
DeleteIf you want to see what they're up to or how they're spending any money, join them and work by their side. Enough already! Can't anyone just pray for them and ask God to bless the seeds they plant on their mission?
I bet you, you don't even support with a penny for them and you want to see their financial sheet. They don't have to provide it and is not your business to critized them. They are working for the
DeleteYou make it sound as though you speak for everyone when you use the term we, I think the term you should use is I.
DeleteThey HAVE to make that spending public, if they want to claim to be a charity. I think what the original poster is saying, due to the most recent newsletter from this couple, is that the spending once again seems to be mostly for their enjoyment and benefit, not for the "mission."
DeleteOP is absolutely right! Reputable charitable organizations DO provide reports on how they spend donor money. In fact it's a law in the US. Being transparent and straightforward insures future donations, it's simple. Elusive behavior raises only suspicion.
DeleteThere is a good update from them on the dillardfamily.com
DeleteOld news, get over it
Delete7:29 AM- Charitable and missionary organization are tax-exempt. They are accountable to the government and taxpayers. There are too many unscrupulous groups that take advantage of the system. I would never give a dime to any non-profit if they were not entirely forthcoming with how their money is spent. If this doesn't bother you, keep right on giving.
DeleteFor those critical of 1:09's comment: I do not understand why you object to a mission being held accountable for their expenditures. Federally tax-exempt organizations must file with the IRS each year. This allows the IRS and the general public to evaluate a nonprofit’s operations; it includes information on the nonprofit’s mission, programs, and finances. If you are blindly donating your hard-earned money without first doing your homework or asking questions, well... a fool and his money are soon parted.
DeleteThank goodness some people here have common sense and knowledge of the tax code! Those who jumped on the original poster, please remember what you might have learned here.
DeleteCharitable organizations have to report to the IRS. They don't have to report to the entire United States. As part of a missions organization, they have to report to them as well. I make it a rule to only donate to places I trust. I don't ask for and don't care to see financial records. If I had concerns about an organization, then I just wouldn't give to them. I highly doubt that the person who continues to ask for them on this site has even donated to the Dillard's. This is a fan site and not the place to continually ask for records. Jill and Derick do not run this site.
DeleteTo everyone above: aren't they part of SOS Ministries? I would bet that SOS has posted their financial information if anyone cared to look.
DeleteAnon @1:09 if YOU would like to know where the money is going I would kindly like to refer you to dillardfamily.com
DeleteThere, you will see their most recent update. Happy reading! Not being critical, just offering a suggestion.
Time to get over that
DeleteNo, it's not "time to get over that," because it hasn't been made public yet. The time to get over it will be when last year's is made public, then this year's is, and so on.
DeleteIt is actually time to stop asking for it on this website. This is a fan website and is not run by Jill and Derick. If you want their info, go to SOS ministries or their personal site.
DeleteRegina- The most recent post on Jill and Derrick's website just gives a general overview of what they are experiencing. There are no particulars about ongoing expenses, unless you count the tracts, Bibles, and banana bread they hand out. There's no information about whether or not they they get financial support from SOS ministries.
DeleteOh my gosh...Still Jinger's wedding! Please..ENOUGH!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey're proud <3
DeleteIsn't pride one of those -whatchacallit- sins?
DeleteYes M'am 9:24.
DeleteSince you obviously have no idea what you are talking about as far as sin goes, I would think you should keep your judgments to yourself. By the way, I believe this is a shower for Joy, not Jinger.
DeleteMore like, TLC does not have enough footage of anything else!
DeleteWhatchamacallit is a good candy bar I know that much! :) @ 9:24 LOL
DeleteDo they still even make those? They were sinful! :)
DeleteNow who doesn't know what they're talking about? This is Jinger's shower, not Joy's, and it says so right in the post......
DeleteOh goodness...we're going back to before Jinger ' s wedding again? ?? And these are summer episodes??
ReplyDeleteNo. They have posted (above) a webisode about Jinger's shower. Something to watch, online, now. The new episode's will not be about Jinger's wedding.
DeleteNo, this is just a filler online until the summer episodes begin.
DeleteNo, it's just for the blog
DeleteBig black box, no video. Something's not embedded properly?
ReplyDeleteThe video appears to not be working. Thx
ReplyDeleteC'mon TLC enough old footage!!! Jinger is already married and now you're going way backwards to her shower???
ReplyDeleteThis is not a TLC blog. If you don't like it, go somewhere else.
DeleteMy thoughts exactly! I was very bored this season of them doing the upto moments. We've seen it once. Enough. Put something new on
DeleteAgree so much I'm not watching it now.
DeleteThis isn't a TLC blog.
DeleteThis is a fan blog.
DeleteThanks for showing us this. I almost forgot Jinger got married:)
ReplyDeleteThat was rude and uncalled for.
DeleteI didn't think that was rude, I thought that was funny and clever!
DeleteWhat was rude and uncalled for?
DeleteIt was a funny comment with a happy face at the end. Lighten up.
DeleteLol!!! Thanks for the laugh!
DeleteHahaha!!
DeleteAWWW!! the little girls are so cute!! it's hard to believe that they've gotten so big!!
ReplyDeleteThey all look so adorable! Anna is glowing. Such a beautiful woman inside and out!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't seen the wedding in Australia
ReplyDeleteWhat? What "wedding" in Australia? There was a honeymoon there, and we did see it. You must be far behind on your fan watching.
DeleteOP, do you mean, "In Australia, we haven't seen the wedding." The way you worded it sounds as if there was a "wedding in Australia."
DeleteI think anonymous @4:29 is saying they live in Australia and they haven't aired Jinger's wedding there. Lol.
DeleteI think the above poster lives in Australia and they're saying the wedding hasn't been shown there yet.
DeleteI think she might have meant they haven't aired the episode in Australia? Or the content isn't available for watching for them? I don't live there I'm just guessing...
DeleteThe people who live in Australia haven't had the chance to see the Episode that contains the wedding.
DeleteThe person means they live in Australia and the wedding hasn't been aired there yet.
DeleteI believe the commenter was stating that they have not aired the wedding episode in Australia.
DeleteKindness, please. I think they're saying that they live in Australia and it hasn't been shown there yet.
DeleteI'm pretty sure they meant the wedding hasn't been televised in Australia yet.
DeleteWe haven't seen the wedding in the UK yet either. We've only seen the engagement episode. Hopefully we'll get to see more soon.
DeleteThe video won't work for me, I'll try again later.
Wow, what a lot of comments about something that was pretty clear from the start.
Delete8:23 - all the comments are in response to the first commenter, who seemed to make fun of the original poster's comment.
DeleteMaybe the problem is we hear so much current info from the blog. TLC doesn't realize how much more up to date the viewing audience is and that there is really no need in showing all this. It's almost like watching reruns where you already know the story except that it's new footage. I just don't think the network really gets how behind they are with what the viewing audience already knows
ReplyDeleteThis isn't a TLC blog.
DeleteThis is a fan blog. They are just going back but not for the show. There's a lot of excitement in the air because now Joy is engaged.
DeleteVideo not working and here in Australia we haven't even seen the wedding episode think TLC needs to catch us up grrrr
ReplyDeleteYouTube
DeletePerhaps try Youtube? I know that it hasn't been shown in certain countries but theres sites that may have the full episode.
DeleteI am really surprised this show is still on the air.
ReplyDeleteBecause it's popular and the haters make it even more so :3
DeleteToo bad those "haters" aren't ratings families and don't count one bit towards the popularity or the ratings standings.
DeleteI'm surprise there's still so many trolls on this site. If you don't like them, than why are you here?? xD
DeleteI'm glad to see Anna looking happy!
ReplyDeleteI think this was a deleted scene. I liked it. I miss Anna she is such a light.
ReplyDeleteIt would be fun to read about what Jinger is doing now in her daily life. Is she helping out at Jeremy's church? Playing piano there? Doing any photography?
ReplyDeleteI remember Jinger liked photography! That would be something fun for her.
DeleteShe's wearing shorts. Don't look! Nike!
DeleteI think Jinger is more private but surely we'll be getting a update soon :)
DeleteI agree! The here and now would be much more interesting for us to read about than the "last year"!
DeleteIs this a TLC moment or something bring shared on the blog missed last season?
ReplyDeleteSo confused, thought it would be about Joy since their wedding is in October.
I do hope TLC isn't still pulling clips from Jinger and Jeremy from a year ago.
They are not doing the show justice. The producer needs to be replaced.
It's too early to start showing Joy. But I highly doubt TLC will repeat anything of Jinger's wedding. This isn't a TLC blog.
DeleteQuick Ellie all this contrary education that it is OK for family to throw bridal showers for family now means that you must rush to get get a proper wedding events etiquitte book to the miseducated masses stat! If this error goes viral there will be many unetiquitte showers occurring!
ReplyDeleteHuh?!
DeleteShe means the Duggars won't stop throwing showers for their own family, and that always was considered a breach of etiquette. These days, everyone seems to be jumping on the tacky bandwagon and doing it anyway. And yes, that does bother some of us. Greatly.
DeleteWhat I believe they're trying to say is that it's poor manners for a parent or sibling to throw a bridal shower. Those are meant to be thrown by a friend or perhaps more distant relative. Because showers purpose to collect gifts, it is considered tacky for the family to throw one.
DeleteMake all the fun of this that you want, but it's still not right to throw your own family members a shower. It's especially not right if you're inviting non-family members to come and bring gifts. Forget the "new" etiquette. Look at it for what it is and always will be: Asking for presents for yourselves. Would you phone up your friends and say come over to my house and bring me something?
DeletePerhaps English isn't their first language? I think they're trying to say that it's bad manners for family members to throw a shower.
DeleteI thought they were making fun of people who (rightly) contend that it's bad manners to throw family members a shower.
DeleteI think the original poaster is referring to that fact that one of the primary responsibilities of the Maid or Matron of Honor is planning and hosting the Bridal Shower, according to every well-known Etiquette book. It does seem somehow unfair that Jessa gets the honor, but Jana (as usual) gets to do all the work. Likewise, Anna wasn't present for the Sisters Day making the Bridal Party jewelry, but she somehow was included when there was a lot of work to be done. It's reminiscent of their birthday tribute to Anna last year, that "she does all the jobs that no one else wants to do". Having said, as viewers we're not told why Jana and Anna got the job of getting everything ready for the party and why Jessa was missing in action...just like we weren't let in on why Anna was missing from the Jewelry making fun. There may be a perfectly good reason for both, but omissions like this don't exactly make the Duggar (Jessa and Jinger in particular) look good.
DeleteYou have your "well-known etiquette book" info wrong. If the MOH is a family member, she does not host the bridal shower. Family does not throw showers for family. Why is this so hard to comprehend??
Deletethis should be about Joy-Anna and the boys courting. I agree enough about Jinger
ReplyDeletehi
They are proud of their daughter :)
DeleteI love the show and think the family is great....however Jinger was married more than five months ago and her shower, dress and wedding are old news. Can we have more current posts and photos..I please.
DeleteWhen Jinger was getting married, they showed back on Jill and Jessa's wedding as well. Joy is engaged now, so I'm sure we may see some reruns of Jinger, Jessa and Jill. But this isn't TLC, it's a fan blog. We don't know what's going to be on the upcoming season coming this summer. I wouldn't worry about it.
DeleteOh mannnnnn....first I thought a shower for Joy , but it seemed a little early.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it was six months ago...........I don't think I'll even watch the show this summer.....half the shows will be last years happenings...and not in order...
😬🙄😬
Because there was too much going on. This is a fan blog btw. I doubt they'll show reruns. I think they'll show reruns of Jill, Jessa and Jinger's weddings by the end of the year when Joy gets married like they did before Jinger's wedding.
DeleteAre the Duggars at the Ark Encounter right now?
ReplyDeleteSo awesome! Love seeing the little girls stepping up! God Bless you all. I love watching a family who knows the Lord and is growing closer to Him daily!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it make more sense to show Joy Anna's bridal shower this summer?
ReplyDeleteThey aren't showing Jinger's this summer..... I don't know why everyone thinks this. This isn't a TLC blog but they are just going back.
DeleteI have been in love with the Duggars from day 1. I find it reprehensible that nobody has publicly congratulated Josh and Anna. Is the family concerned that ratings will drop? Is TLC calling the shots? I thought this blog was unrelated to TLC. Every baby from such a famous family deserves the same attention. They are still part of the Family! It's not difficult to figure out that if the marriage didn't end, there would be a baby soon. The world is aware that birth control is not an option for them. You can't work on a relationship and have no intimacy, so I'm not sure why the shock and Negativity! Jim Bob, Michelle, and all the adult siblings need to take a stand and show them some public support. That's what family is for.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful and positive post and a refreshing change from so many negative comments! Folks...take Thumper's dads advise and if you can't say something good, don't say nothin at all!
DeleteIt's because Josh isn't on the show anymore and is staying out of the public-eye which I'm sure his siblings respect. I'm sure they are very happy and sent their love to them. It has nothing to do with the ratings and this blog isn't part of TLC.
DeleteSorry, but it has everything to do with ratings! I believe the Duggar family signed some sort of contract forbidding Josh on TV or a storyline. If they are to associate with him again or bring his name into a positive limelight, they may face awful backlash. It is sad, considering Anna deserves congratulated. She is a wonderful, sweet, faithful girl. I do understand though. I hope Anna does too.
DeleteI'm sure they congratulated them privately.....why expose their well wishes to all the negative nasty comments that, were sure to follow. Just cause we can't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen!
DeleteI agree that I find the silence from the family on the new baby strange. However, this silence could be the wishes of Anna and Josh. they want privacy.
DeleteYou are incorrect on one point. A couple can work on their relationship without intimacy. In fact, if there are serious problems and the wife does not feel honored by her spouse, not engaging in intimacy until she feels honors by her spouse is good idea.
Babies DO NOT fix a relationship and it is not wise to bring a new child into a struggling relationship. Wise woman would use birth control, either natural or otherwise, to protect herself.
Please no more going backwards.Jinger is already married. Why show her shower.
ReplyDeleteIt's for the blog, not the show.
DeleteIts for the blog because Joy got engaged
DeleteWow, if you are going to complain about the episodes, why not just go read a book or find something constructive to do? Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteJinger is probably already pregnant !!!!
ReplyDeleteWe will find out soon enough
DeleteWhat a blessing that would be for them!!!!
DeleteThere's new speculation that the latest picture shows a fuller face and maybe a bump??
DeleteIf she is, we'll get a announcement soon :)
DeleteJeremy and Jinger is going to have so cute babies <3
We already saw the shower on TLC. Why again?
ReplyDeleteBecause this is a fan blog and it's because Joy got engaged. It has nothing to do with TLC.
DeleteThank you for showing this! I love seeing behind the scenes, how the littles work together, and their smiles! Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteSeriously?! I love the Duggar family and attribute them to my returning to faith, but enough of Jinger's wedding already, it was last year!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's for the blog, not the show.
DeleteIt gets boring....
ReplyDeleteI have been in love with the Duggars from day 1.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that as well. Who is telling the rest of the family that they can't offer public congratulations? TLC? JIM BOB? The fact that the rest of the family is not saying anything publicly is leading me to believe that they are not in favour of this new baby coming?!
DeleteI am not at all surprised that Anna is expecting so soon.
DeleteWhat bothers me is that other women may see Anna as some kind of Godly example of what to do if your spouse is a fraud and a cheat. They may be led to believe that it would be wrong to divorce. I would never encourage any woman to continue having children when in such an at- risk relationship. It's not fair to to the child.
I think they dipped their toes in the water, are gauging the public response, and will go from there. But for a family that was so quick to stand up for Josh, even go on TV to "explain away" what he did as being minor and "not as bad as others have done," they sure aren't jumping all over to spread this news, are they?
DeleteI think that there was a lot of backlash from the announcement of the fifth baby and that other family members have most likely congratulated them privately. For anon 2:07, you most certainly can work on a relationship without intimacy.
DeleteYes, this is missing those silly videos congratulating someone who lives nearby and they probably see quite frequently.
DeleteI don't see the same public level of family support for this event as they have shown Josh before. Someone or something has told them to keep the lid on it. 'Cuz you know it would be big, sell-able news for People or Us.
DeleteMaybe the family has done video congrats but perhaps Josh and Anna wanted to keep the those special congratulations private. I wouldn't blame this since people whined and complained about her pregnancy in the first place. As if her pregnancy is any of their business!
DeleteI agree 100 percent with original poster @ 2:07AM! Worded perfectly and I couldn't have worded it better myself! Amen that every baby from this family deserves the same attention, whether it be on this blog or in magazines,or anywhere else! And amen that the family needs to take a stand and show public support of this new coming grand Duggar!
DeleteRegina- I think the reason people "whined" as you put it was because a great many people think very highly of Anna (Christian, non-Christian, Duggar fan, Duggar detractor, person on the street, etc.). They all know Anna was the innocent victim in all of this and Josh was repeatedly and increasingly deceitful (known as "Duper's Delight"). As more verifiable details became public, so did the levels of Josh's deception and disregard for Anna and her carefully guarded virtue and people who didn't even know the Duggars and had never watched the show were angry at the way he deceitfully used her. They also are aware how naive Anna was going into the marriage and this is their way of expressing concern for her personally going forward. Many feel protective toward Anna because she is so naive and genuinely good. They may not agree with you on giving Josh all rights and privileges (when it remains to be seen if he's earned restoration) and they may not expressed themselves the way you'd like, but their concern for Anna is not a bad thing.
Delete8:48 Very tactful comment... and right on the money!
Deletewish the little kids and anna and josh were on the show! so good to see them - thanks!
ReplyDeleteNo thanks Betty. Way to soon. Plus with the lawsuit I would think they would want to be out of public scrutiny. All it would be is both Josh and Anna saying what they've learned. They will explain how many more rules they have in place, blame the "world, (which equates to women) how Anna babysits Josh's electronic devices (no fun for a wife) etc. Nobody knows if Josh has changed. Anna has every right to stay, believe and support Josh. It's her life. But...to soon for any preaching on morality by these two.
DeleteI would also think that they have been told by their lawyers to stay off the show. Anything shown about their lifestyle etc could end up as evidence in court.
DeleteI have a feeling the baby announcement was timed to coincide with the lawsuit news.......
DeleteWhat I wonder is where John-David resides and how come he's never featured on the show. What's he, or they, hiding? That he's not conforming to their beliefs? And how come the second-oldest are unmarried while their younger sibs are pairing off? Weird.
ReplyDeleteJD is at home. Any property in his name is not inhabited by him.
DeleteMaybe John David chooses not to be on the show. And who said siblings have to marry in chronological order??? The only thing weird here, with all due respect, is your comment.
DeleteI think it's because JD is male, he's given more liberties outside the home. His twin sister's duties are inside the home, so we see her more. Though both twins seem to be introverted, as far as the cameras go.
DeleteMaybe JD is smart and chooses to live independently, away from the media circus. If he's a nonconformist, good for him!
DeleteHe's working. The show is called Jill & Jessa: Counting On. So the majority of film time is going to be set around them. Next season it's probably going to be featured around Joy.
DeleteYam, perhaps he wants to live his life in private and has no interest in the "family business" on TLC. I do not find that weird at all. Just because the twins are not married, does not mean that they are not conforming to the father<s beliefs. Perhaps they just not meet anyone they want to marry.
DeleteThere is NO rule that the older siblings must marry before the younger ones.
He is on occasionally, but he is probably busy with his businesses most of the time. Especially if the filming is done during the day on weekdays. As to the unmarried part, when someone gets married should be determined by when they have a suitable partner, not when their siblings have found suitable partners.
DeleteHow come Joy is exempt from curling her hair?
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean? Is there a hair curling rule?
DeleteI love that she feels free to dress and do her hair in her more simple style and not just mimic her big sisters.
DeleteWhat does it matter? o_O
DeleteThere is NO rule that the Duggar women have to curl their hair.
DeleteMaybe because she likes her hair straight? Or doesn't I care to bother curling it? I think because the Duggars are so restricted in some areas of their lives, people forget that they are still allowed freedom and choice in others. Not every single aspect of their lives is controlled by their parents.
DeleteI thonks it neat that Carlin and Josie Bates cut off alot of locks as Josie is in beauty school...good for them 😉
DeleteWhat a weird question to ask
DeleteI'm so happy to see Anna! I really miss her being a regular part of the show. It's good to see the little girls too. Thanks for showing this.
ReplyDeleteI have a sincere question for all on this blog. I know this is public, and therefore not a Christian site. However, my guess is most of us on here are Christian. I'm a Christian/Catholic. I started watching the Duggars and Bates years ago as I, too, was wanting to see families of faith living to support and love of each other. What I have noticed is more often than not people on here are looking to be mean..to be offended. I could be offended by the anti-Catholic rhetoric but I chose not to. I chose to look at positive ideas we have in common. Celebrating our faith in The Lord and love of family. After all we are Christians..just with some doctrinal differences. This is my challenge...as Christians let's try to refrain from ugly, snarky and rude comments. Let's stop looking to be offended just because a point of view differs from yours. Let's think like Thumper. If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all. If I were a non-Christian I can honestly say I would not see any difference between conversations on these blogs than those out in the world. It shouldn't be that way.
ReplyDeleteWhat about us atheists? Do you have a plan for us, too? Because we've had to put up with a ton of anti-atheist rhetoric, way more than anti-Catholic.
DeleteGreat comment, and I agree. But remember, some or many of the people here may not be Christians.
DeleteWell said. God bless you!
DeleteI totally agree.
DeleteYou have a very positive outlook, especially considering the Duggar statements regarding Catholics. It's sad, really, that religion has to be so divisive. I think that religion is, for way too many people, a game of one-upmanship: My beliefs are better than yours, you've got it wrong, etc. That's not love, but nothing more than self-righteous condescension. There have been many people in my life who never warmed a church pew, but they lived quiet lives of dignity. They shared their compassion, generosity, and love with others without ever praying in public, quoting Scripture, or handing out a free Bible while asking for donations. I think a loving God cares more about what we do when no one is looking, rather than when we think someone might be. That is the true test of character and the kind of people Christ wants us to be.
DeleteAMEN! TOTALLY AGREE! If the Duggars/Bates upset you, then watch something else. I for one follow this blog because I like to see family interactions where they actually care for one another and have forgiveness in their hearts when one of them messes up.
DeleteIf you are referring to Josh as having been the one "messing up", I think it is making light of the gravity of his betrayal.
DeleteActually, the majority of posters here are probably Christian so assuming that only non-Christians post less than glowing comments is well symptomatic of the problem.
DeleteThe Duggars and Bates put themselves up as role models to follow and emulate. However, many Christians are educated. They can think for themselves and are able to use their critical thinking skills to comment on the views of the Duggars and the Bates.
Anonymous @10:20.. So true.
DeleteI know atheists, agnostics, Muslims, Hindus... who live more caring and loving lives than many 'Christians'.
I know too many Christians who only live a 'Christian life' because they think it will get them into heaven, like a award.
5:21- People who take everything in the Bible literally believe Atheists are going to hell, unless they repent and accept Christ.
DeleteThis is a very sad testament to their level of self-righteous arrogance, which comes disguised as 'love.'
I live in Canada and unfortunately the video clip does not work. I enjoy watching these clips and do not mind them being a re run. It is like looking at a photo album. Cherishing memories! Nobody is forcing us to look at these clips.
ReplyDeleteSo Jessa has the Honor to be Matron of Honor but Anna gets chosen to do the bridal shower yet Janna does all the work?
ReplyDeleteIf the Dillards would release their ministry's financial information, perhaps many more WOULD give if they see where the money's going? What's to hide? I know of many organizations that have their financial spreadsheet ready to display for future investors/donators. Nothing unusual about this request that I can see.
ReplyDeleteNot only is it not unusual, it's the law.
DeleteThat's done and over with which was started by a troll.
DeleteAnonymous #2- That's untrue. The Dillards have continually asked for financial support while flying back to the State s multiple times before the end of their 12 month assignment. They have not released any financial documents detailing their spending and Derick is an accountant by practice. If they have time to do Counting on and participate in the numerous family gatherings and events, he has time to document their financial missionary expenditures and report them via their website to their supporters. Many missionary organizations and couples do so, without an accounting degree. Secondly, please refrain from name-calling. It is cyber bullying behavior and if you over the age of 18, it's time to grow up. You can disagree with being disagreeable. The Fans on this site are far nastier in comment and spirit than the "trolls" and "haters" as you all have branded them. Sheesh!
Delete7:06 Non-profit groups are required by law to report their financial particulars to the IRS and make them public every year. This is hardly over and done with, nor was it something started by a troll.
DeletePeople who keep their lives private and don't ask for donations from others for THEIR PERSONAL LIVES, don't have to display their income for all to see. The Dillards are asking for money and should be more financially transparent regarding their ministry. This poster isn't asking to see their contract with TLC are they? No, they aren't. Just the ministry finances.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, 1:08. Dillard Ministries is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and as such, has to disclose its finances each year. You can't be a charity in the US without disclosure. Thank goodness. This isn't being nosy, it's for everyone's protection and for public knowledge. You should be able to look up any charity, whether you give to them or not, and see how their money is spent.
DeleteAll we are allowed to know so far about Dillard Family Ministries is what they've shown us in pictures. We get to see the vehicles they're driving, the house they're living in, how it's furnished, how they're eating, and how many times they've had family visit them or have flown back to the States. As far as the locals who are supposedly being helped, we've seen them with snacks and tracts. All that is not shedding good light on being proper stewards of the donated money. This is why a financial statement needs to be made public, by them. We shouldn't have to go searching for it.
DeleteWhy are you keep spamming this comment everywhere? What you are talking about has already been cleared as it was started by a troll. If it was true, it would had been all over the internet. Get over it.
Delete@7:10 What was started by a troll and what was cleared? What is Anonymous 1:08 supposed to "get over"?
DeleteTo everyone who always says the show/public info is too slow:
ReplyDeleteThe Duggars are wonderful godly people who have been inspirational to thousands. We all love them. But remember, this is a job for them. It is an effective way to spread their message, but filming and promoting a show is not an easy or instantaneous task. It is very much a job and many people, including the family and those behind the scenes, need revenue from the show. This means a delay in production and times magazine articles to produce an excellent product. This isn't a horrible scheme. It's just business. They have the right to have a successful job! And that job of sharing their lives has made an amazing impact on my life and many others!
I thought we were going to see info on joy Anna's wedding shower. I think we've seen Enough of jingers dress, wedding , reception and shower. What about sharing some about Joseph's new courtship? New info please!
ReplyDelete3/25 @ 9:51am....yes, I, too am a CHRISTIAN Catholic. I know very well this family doesn't believe that I am a Christian. I began watching this family when their first special was on TV and have kept up with them ever since. It's a shame that many who do post here and are in complete faith agreement with the Duggar family do put down members of legitimate Christian faiths. SOS ministries and Derick's ministry need to seek out people who have no belief in a creator whatsoever, or those who are of pagan beliefs and practices, literally. If I post a different opinion or call them out on something THEY HAVE POSTED with legitimate questions, I am looked upon as a hater of this family, which I am not. I think they hold contempt for those who believe differently than they do, which, in itself, is not godly. Tired of this family 'parading themselves so modestly' around. It began a long time ago for them. I would like to learn truth about what their religions, spiritual and social custom beliefs and practices really entail. Especially those practices put on their daughters. I don't think we will EVER get that, sadly.
ReplyDeletePeople are deeply hurt by josh because he dragged our precious lords name through the mud unfortunately the rest of the family suffer
