  1. It seems so strange to watch this-I remember watching her as a kid not much older than me on 19KandCounting! But I'm happy for her!

  2. I think we all saw this coming, but I'm happy to hear its now official. Congratulations to them, I pray God will bless them and be with them as they begin this walk with each other.

    1. Definitely saw this coming! Joy and Austin are a perfect match because I'm assuming they will work and/or live a Camp Rock, that allows Joy to be outdoors and satisfy the "tom-boy" in her! Just like Jinger and Jeremy are a great match since they are both into style, fashion, the city, and most of all STARBUCKS!

    2. You make an excellent point. I was worried that she was being pressured to change herself, to be more girly like her sisters, but perhaps in this situation she will be able to be her energetic outdoorsy self!

    1. Probably three or four months or so.

    2. I'm guessing 5-6 months because of Jill maby even a little longer.. altough nothing really matters because why get married on your sisters babylies birthday, and so close to her birthday and aniversary and what not. I think that is rude! Whats the matter with 10 days before or 10 days after....

      Delete
    3. As big as the family is, they can't avoid planning things on dates with birthdays. Can you imagine when all nineteen of them are married and have their own children? Maybe since Jinger and Jessa are best friends that Jessa thought it was special to share Jinger's wedding day with her child's birthday.

  7. OMG!!!! Does she have her dress yet?? She should totally get her dres from Renee's Bridal!!!

    ReplyDelete

    1. She should get it from wherever she and Austin want to. From Renee's, another shop, borrowed from a relative or friend (like Michelle wore Jim Bob's mother's dress).

      Delete
    2. I agree Emma! Renee did a wonderful job with Jingers dress :)

    3. I agree Emma - Jinger's dress was beautiful!

    1. I beg to differ, courtship, engagement for 3-4 months, wedding, stay at home girl even though there are no children just yet, pregnancy anouncement 3-6months later, birth, pregnancy anouncement 6-12 months later, rinse repeat, rinse repeat.

    2. What is your problem? Why are you even on a Duggar site? You are definitely the "one apple" that can "spoil a whole barrel" with all your negative remarks.

      Delete
    3. Joy will probably be involved with Fort Rock and helping Austen flip houses. Jana has been buying and jointly renovating properties, the older girls helped to write their book too. They are all busy ladies.

  10. Okay, I wanted to know if anyone else was thinking this and not trying to be rude, but since Derrick and Jill don't live in the US full-time, shouldn't Ben and Jessa get the bigger house they live in? (Shouldn't they offer it to them as they don't need that big of a place as when they come to the U.S. as it's only to visit?) Also, I'm sooooo happy for Joy Anna and Austin, but I feel bad for Jana - there will soon be no one left with her in the older girls room, does anyone else feel this way or am I the only crazy one? :(

    1. Stop with all the " I feel sorry for Jana"! Did it ever occur to you that she is happy being single? That perhaps this is exactly how she wants to live? Honestly. do all of you think she has to be married to be fulfilled?

      Delete
    2. That's actually not Jill and Derrick's house. It's a house the Duggar family owns that Jill and Derrick stay in when they are in town :) Ben and Jessa do need a bigger house though!

      Delete
    3. The house that Jill and Derick were staying at during recent visit is the quest house and the house they film original had which was huge was put on the market (no idea if its sold). Ben and Jessa are adults and if they need a big house they can get jobs and get one like most normal people do. Can't expect Mum and Dad to look after them forever.

      Delete
    4. I don't feel sorry for Janna she isn't in a hurry to get married and she still has the younger girls and I do Agee that Jessa and Ben should get the bigger house as Jill and Derek don't live in the US anymore they come and stay for a month or 2 before going back to Central America

      Delete
    5. I do feel sorry for Jana being all alone nke expect the little kids. Although I admire her for not settling for one of the first guys that shows an interest. She knows what she wants and isn't going to settle for anyone.

      Delete
    6. Their parents arnt supposed to support them forever. They should be glad that have a house their not paying for. If they want another house, get a job and buy one!

      Delete
    7. I think the Seewalds are looking to buy a house of their own, instead of renting from Grandma Duggar. They recently made some comment about watching the real estate listings. I'm sure the rent on their smaller house is lower than the rent on the larger one, which allows them to save more money.

      Delete
    8. Ya I was thinking that poor Jana is getting skipped over in the love department!!

      Delete
    9. Jenni, Johannah and Josie will be there ;-) But I'm sad for her but maybe she's okay with it! :-)

      Delete
    10. Jana probably will appreciate privacy but I thought she was sharing with younger girls.
When she is ready I'm certain the right guy will come along.

In reference to housing, the first house they lived in would have been great but that was sold. The last house is a guest house close to the family home. They said visitors stay there so I'm thinking it isn't available.
There are many other properties if JB can help including the one recently purchased by her brother.
I also wish Joy the best and hope it's a happy celebration.

      Delete
    11. She could always leave and get a place of her own...

      Delete
    12. I do not feel sorry for Jana. She has her purity in tact and has self control, a single life, friends, family, and freedom. Maybe she prefers this to slaving for someone she does not want to be with.

      Delete
    13. I'm pretty sure the house Jill and Derrick are staying in is the parents guest house on the same property where Ben and Jessa live like 20 minutes away. I think they may own that house themselves? I don't think it's jimb bobs

      Delete
    14. That's not Jill and Derricks house. It's called the guest house. It's used by many who travel to see the Duggars.

      Delete
    15. I am sad for her too...it must be hard to watch this happen even though I am sure she is happy for her sister.

      Delete
    16. You think the same way I do..
Except I think Jana is in no hurry to get married...

      Delete
    17. I'm thinking ... As many times I've read this same question.. I'm assuming y'all are getting paid to ask It! Lol 💓

      Delete
    18. Love envieth not, lovers of self more than lovers of God....a person living in the flesh might look at the lives of others and want what goods they have and desire the pleasures and uplifting moments of their lives for themselves. But a person who allows their heart to rise above a self centered level to God will see each individual from a different perspective. One who is single could never just claim for themselves the special and precious moments of each of the others lives repeatedly again and again. Each sister as she married only got the marriage joys one time and their is plenty of difficulty in the package too. Sacrifice, separation, self giving, physical pain etc. Jana could never have all her sisters choices and decisions over and over again, that is just not possible. But Jana can have her choices and decisions and the peace and joy God gives her in her life. Wait on the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. They that wait on the Lord shall be renewed in strength like eagles. Jana can rise above it all and be noble like an eagle.

    1. You are so right. I feel bad for Jana and Jessa and Ben should have the big house. Jill and Derick don't need that house. Their place is not here and they can stay in the little house when they visit.

    2. I seriously don't understand you people saying ooh so sad for Jana I thought we were leaving it up to God beacause he knows better! So wath is it?! His timing is the best or poor Jana?!

    2. Seriously? Like a whole seven months is going to change her. Age has nothing to do with it. I just hope Austin treats her like a royal queen, not a servant! He seemed so darn serious talking to Jim Bob, didn't even break a smile when Jim Bob tried to joke. I hope he truly loves her and treats her as an equal. I hope Joy demands it!

    3. agree no married man should ever demans his wife tobe an servant only producing multi childern which is highly dangerous for any womans well being and health includes mental health too. hope their up coming marriage will be a ture 50/50 equal marriage both work for building an future

      Delete
    4. I agree so much! It is so dangerous wath the Duggars are doing, they risk so many complications. What Michelle did is not reason to keep on going, she was just lucky nothing else! I'm not wishing anything bad on the Duggars but at one point having baby upon baby will go wrong!

      Delete
    5. Gee, we have 13 children and I'm pretty sure my mental health is fine! Silly...

      Delete
    6. Yes well you never know 7 months might make a difference. Why couldn't hou change within that time? It is 7 months! Why even go on ministry if you think that 7 months could not make a difference?!

      Delete
    7. Sunnysideup- Great that you're doing fine with a large family.
Hopefully, it was not an expectation that you have one. However, it is not for everybody. Relentless pregnancies can have a detrimental physical effect on some women. There's no denying that the responsibilities for caring for a large number of children can tax the mental health and well-being of both parents.

      Delete
    8. No, large families are not for everyone. I am, however, sick of the general attitude out there that childbearing is dangerous for everyone, and it makes women nothing but brood mares! Raising responsible, loving children is one of the most important jobs there is. People make it sound like having a lot of children will either kill you or make you crazy! Sure, there are the cases where a woman cannot physically or mentally handle a house full of kids (or any kids for that matter), but this is rare, and there are usually other factors involved. Most do just fine. Why don't we let them decide what's right for their family? And not every couple who "leaves it up to God" will have a ton of kids. Some will have only 1 or 2, some might have 5 or 6, others 10 or 12 or more, and still others may not have any. You never know. And while some might think that their family will judge them on how many kids they have, we don't have to.

    1. I want to encourage you to keep on waiting on God to bring the right man in your life. I've known some ladies that didn't get married until their mid-thirties but they were so glad they waited. God's will is always best.

    2. Never lose hope and never settle! I almost married the wrong one at 27. He wasn't a Christian and I was. I knew him a very long time and we were in love so we figured it didn't matter. Thank God I had adult guidance who made me see.that it did matter. I married at 33 to a godly man who treats me very well. I am very glad I waited :). You will be too!

      Delete
    3. I got married when I was 32. You shouldn't feel bad :) God will tell you the time. :)

    4. Anon@4:22 As my great-aunt used to say..."I was waiting for the perfect man. When I found him, he was looking for the perfect woman." She never married, but had wonderful career, many great friends, and an extended family. During the Great Depression, they came to her for help because she was the only one with a decent job that had any money.

      Delete
    5. Don't settle!!! I married the wrong person because all of my friends were getting married and I was feeling lonely. I wish I had an wise adult in my life at that time to tell me 1. You don't need to be married to be happy. 2. Its ok to an older bride. 3. Don't compromise in the type of person you wish to spend your life with just because you think you won't get a better offer. Live your life for you and all the pieces will eventually fall into place.

      Delete
    6. 33 is perfectly young by most standards. Live your life. Carpe diem. Our society treats marriage like a finish-line goal but many will not admit the grass is often greener. Single people are encouraged to seek marriage. Married people often reminisce about their single days. And everyone puts on a front about how satisfied they are with their own life.

      Delete
    7. Don't settle! Keep strong! There are many wonderful things about being single. I waited patiently & I was rewarded at almost 40 yrs old with the most amazing husband ever. Met & married within 6 months! Divine intervention. Married with a child for many yrs now. I also have a cousin & several good friends almost 50 yrs old. Never married. Found happiness in friends & nieces & nephews & never had to go through a nasty divorce because they felt desperate. There is a life path that we are each meant to have. Best wishes.

      Delete
    8. Thank you so much for the encouragement, guys. I haven't given up yet. I am hopeful that I will find the right person to share life with. I just hope he arrives soon! I have a great career, have traveled a lot and have tons of friends. I feel like I have accomplished many things and I am now ready to marry and start my own family. I will keep praying about it!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Congratulations! I am so happy for you too! I will be praying for you two to have a blessed and righteous union!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I know of an older acquaintance who waited her whole life to meet "the one", and they were married in their late forties. She was so happy in her married life, however, her one regret was not meeting him decades sooner. She said that she would have loved to of had more time to spend with him, and grow together as one with him when they were younger. I believe God has a timing for each person, each couple, as His plans are to work through them as a unit, for His glory and eternal purposes. Sometimes that is accomplished more effectively through a single life, and other times God's will is more effectively accomplished through a married couple working together as a team. God's ways are perfect. God's timing is perfect, because God Himself is perfect, and He only has the very best for each of us. I too, pray for the Lord to bless Jana with an outstanding, Godly husband, who is everything, and more than whatever she could ever imagine, ask, or think. It is such a beautiful thing to witness the perfect pairing of each Duggar daughter's marital union. They all compliment each other perfectly. Good things come to those who wait! I believe Jana's celebration will be the most joyous of them all because of her diligent wait, and NOT settling for anything less than God's very best!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Why would you wish for Jana to find a husband if, as you say, it might be God's will for her to remain single? Why wish for anything at all if we should just wait for God's plan and timing to unfold?

    4. I noticed that as well. It's a publicity move.

      Delete
    5. Please explain how the attention is deflected. Josh is a year older. That isn't changed by his sister's engagement being announced. What exactly is wrong with having a birthday? Why would they have to deflect the attention from it?

      Delete
    6. Shhhh, we can't talk about Josh! We can give him the generic birthday wish, but then we need some happier news!

      Delete
    7. Exactly why can we not talk about Josh?! Y'all act like you've never sinned before and what he did is so unforgivable you have to treat him so lowly. I think Its horrible the way all of you treat him. We have all sinned and his sin is no greater than yours. You should try forgiving the Jesus did when he died for you

  38. I would guess that Jill and Derick stay in the big house because they are guests and not going to live there permanently. Being given even a small house to live in is a huge blessing for a young couple. Most young families with a stay home mom, could only dream of having a house to call their own. Yes, I would also love to see Jana find the right person and start her own life.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Exactly what I was thinking.

      Delete
    2. I'm always bothered when people say, "don't rush into having babies." Why would you say that? That's a horrific thing to say! When a couple chooses to have children, they will decide on their own. Children are a blessing--not a burden! It's high time our "selfie" society realized this.

      Delete
    3. Children are not burdens, however, a couple who is not ready to be parents can be a long-term burden for an unsuspecting child.
It is hardly fair to bring new life into the world if you are not emotionally ready for it. This takes some honest reflection. Yes, there are some people who rush into having children because of pressure or feeling it's "God's will" when they might be better off waiting while, or not having any children at all

  50. I don't usually comment, but this time I will. Congratulations Joy! I am about a month younger than Joy is and I got engaged and am getting married in June. I constantly have people ask if I'm "sure" and why I'm "throwing my life away". But that's not at all what this is like. God lead me to the person I will be spending the rest of my life with. We have a shared wish to go onto the mission field, but can't until I finish university. God brought us together, just like he brought Austin and Joy together. I'm so happy for them!

    2. I think most people mean no harm when they fear Joy is too young to marry. Its probably people 35ish on up saying it. Me being well over 35, I will explain why I think people are concerned for Joy. Ask yourself this... Say today you are 25, do you want the same life you wanted when you were 17? Say today you're 34, do you want the same things in life that you wanted when you were 23? BE HONEST! Your goals change with time. Your "wants" change with time. Its called aging and aquired wisdom and developing the ability to "see around corners", so to speak. What people forget is these girls were taught at an early age that this is what is expected of them, so its normal for them to marry young. I'm sure they've dreamed of this since a very young age with their beliefs. A lot of people who don't share their beliefs don't get it. Most girls Joys age are off to college, or working their first job, dating or unfortunately dabbling in drugs or ending up pregnant and not even sure who the dad is! Most are good kids as Joy is a good girl too. Most have been taught they have more options than what Joy has been taught. This is what her parents want for her. So, we may not agree, but its not our choice to make. So I wish her and Austin all the best!

    3. Congratulations on your engagement! :)

    4. Congratulations!

      Delete
    5. I got married at 22, pregnant a month later and I'm not even religious, it's just my choice. People say they are so happy that women have more choices today, but if you make a choice they don't agree with, they are so quick to put you down. Just ignore them!

      Delete
    6. 7:10- The question is.. when is it a choice and when is it an expectation? From what we see of the Duggars,
there is every indication that the children are expected to follow a certain and very predictable path.

    1. A good example of getting married to the first guy you get to know when you're 19?

      Delete
    2. Nothing wrong with getting married at 19. I was and this year we are celebrating 39 years.

      Delete
    3. They all seem to have married the first guy that was interested. If I had done that, I'd be in big trouble right now.

      Delete
    4. I agree. I dated someone for a while when I was her age and thank God I didn't marry him. I was blinded.

      Delete
    5. We DONT KNOW is Austin is the "first guy" interested in Joy anymore than we know if Derick, Ben, or Jeremy were the "first guys" to show interest in Jill, Jessa and Jinger! They may be the "first guys" that showed interest that the girls accepted a courtship with. Just because it wasn't on their show, doesn't mean it didn't happen! I'm sure other guys approached Jimbob asking permission to court AFTER having met the girls and having a budding friendship with said girl. At that point, maybe either the girl, or the guy, decided it was a relationship they didn't want to perdue in the form of a courtship. Probably has happened with Jana many times! So, please don't say its the "first guy" to show interest in these girls! We don't know that!

      Delete
    6. I should have said the first guy the girls took an interest in. They were in no other courtships except with whom they married. So, they did not get to know anyone else in depth.

      Delete
    7. They're not allowed to date, only court, so by the time a guy appears on the scene, your future is sealed.

  55. Congratulations!!! What a blessing to have the Lord the center of your relationship. So blessed to see a younger generation rising up to serve the Lord and honor Him. :-)

Poor Jim Bob will be losing another one of his precious girls - we can always tell he is happy for his girls to marry but his heart seems to be breaking - such a great Dad! Michelle too is a great Mom - love these two and miss them on the show!

  58. Best wishes to Joy-Anna and Austin! They appear to be quite compatible like hand in glove. Like a previous poster wrote, they seem to be "perfectly matched."

  62. Joy will definitely be in her element after the wedding...living at the camp or near by...how fun for her tomboy spirit, what a great place to call home, all the joy that she will be around on a daily basis...kids laughing, playing, praying...just like home but better😉

    1. Have you ever run any kind of a camp? Have you ever run a camp for children? It's a lot of work, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Many early mornings and late nights falling into bed/bunk. You give a lot of yourself to campers beyond the physical getting everything ready and cleaning up afterwards. I always thanked God for the camp staff, from the cleaning people to the cooks to the grounds crew to the counselors/instructors/Camp Director and his family. It's rewarding, but it is a lot of work.

    2. Guess that's why Joy was the perfect match. Not Jill or Jessa or Jinger.

    3. Agree, as she is also not afraid of hard work, thats one thing u can say about the Duggars ...they are not lazy...still say it's a good fit for her though...blessings😉

  63. I forgot to say in my other comment that I see Joy and Austin going in the misionary work. She stated when she was flying with Joe her plans were to get her pilot licence so she could fly her self to missions. Austin has been raised to help missions. What a blessing. Congratulations and I can't wait to see the wedding.

  64. I find it strange. Joy Anna is only 19, she did not even get a chance to think if she wanted an education or career other than working at a religious camp. Her life is going to stop at that level. They will probably marry around May or June, then will have their first baby next March, the next baby - the following year... She won't do any traveling or any real work. I feel sorry for Joy.

  65. Interesting how Austin said he would not hold hands, yet he is holding her hand in this picture???

    1. He said they would not hold hands during the courtship. They decided to hold hands during the engagement.

      Delete
    2. I noticed that, too. I think he said he wouldn't hold hands during courtship. This is engagement, the next level, so fingers are allowed to touch. Seems that would stir up the same desires, so why it's OK after engagement but not during courtship is another one of those unsolved mysteries in a Duggar's life. I just hope they don't play "handsies" with each other the way Josh & Anna did.

    3. Oh my goodness!!! I had forgotten about that. They were really uncomfortable to watch.

      Delete
    4. Oh my gosh I know! I was worried poor Anna's fingers would have been permanatly bent by their wedding day!!

    5. It's strange to look back now, knowing what happened, and watch how Josh & Anna acted during their courtship.

  66. I think it's a little weird for Joy to say she's looking forward to learning more about Austin due to their engagement. Shouldn't she have learned more about him during their courtship? And I feel bad for Jana in that all of her sisters will be out of the house. She won't have anyone her age around any more. I know Anna is near by and so is Jessa, but she's 27 and will soon be sleeping in a room with sisters much younger than her. I know this is another bittersweet moment for Jana.

    1. He would be a pretty shallow person if she learned everything about him just while they were courting. I'm sure they'll continue to learn things about each other during engagement and after they're married too.

    2. I couldn't agree ore regarding Jana. Makes me so very, very sad!

    3. Some mystery is a good thing!... However with this engagement, Austin watches Joy like a hawk or just like Austin says, 'well I've been watching' and he's always looking at her in photos released. It's adorable really. Joy being so sweet and FUNNY this should be quite a pair. Melt hearts.

    4. I feel that way too (re Jana) the age gap between the next girl (Johannah) is 15 years. I'm sure Jana will be happy for Joy but definitely bittersweet. But congrats to Joy regardless.

  67. Oh my gosh!!!!! So excited for Joy and Austin. Everytime i see Jou i still see the baby of the big sisters. She's not a baby anymore. Time sure does fly. Before we know it, josie will be hrown and hetting msrtied too.
Kudos to Michele and Jim Bob. I have been using uour family as great example for my daughters when dating.

  68. Congrats to this new couple many blessing to you. Hope that Jana is next it seems when the girls get engaged they stop doing any chores and only do wedding planning dates etc and Jana gets the added work , Duggars don't seem to cherish their unmarried not in a relationship daughters as much . when they have parties you don't see Jessa ,Jinger or Jill in the kitchen doing any cooking or helping.

  70. So, a quick nod to Josh's birthday, then a quick re-direct to Joy's engagement....an event that happened back at Christmas. Very clever. Everything this family does, doesn't do says or doesn't say is all publicity directed. How is this a "ministry'? Not for a long time.

    1. That is taking a simple coinciding event coincidence too far, in my opinion. Joy has as much right to attention as the other children. If she just got engaged that certainly is more interesting and exciting than her older brother's 29th birthday. If I had to choose what news of the day to share and I only could focus on one story it would be Joy! But we get both news story so what's to complain about?

      Delete
    2. It might be a "coincidence," but consider over the years how many times stuff like this has happened. Waiting to announce big news til the day a show is on or the day a magazine comes out. Not telling names of babies right away, but picking the "right" day. And so on. I think it's very odd that Joy's big news was chosen to come out on Josh's birthday. If I were her, I wouldn't have stood for it. But then she probably had no choice.

      Delete
    3. How exactly does it change anything that it was announced on Josh's birthday? The fact that he is a year older has no relevance to his sister's engagement. It isn't like there is some kind of horrible news announced and then the engagement right after.

  71. I knew they were going to get engaged based on they way they were looking at each other in the last video!

    1. You could also tell just by the fact that they've shown him in pictures and on TV, including the necessary courtship asking scene with Jim Bob. They wouldn't have done that unless Austin were there to stay.

      Delete
  72. Did you folks crop the picture above? When I first saw it a couple of days ago, the picture was bigger and was showing them holding hands, even though Austin just said he has decided not to hold hands. Now it looks cropped and the hand holding is not shown. Interesting...

  73. It's interesting how people are expressing sadness for Jana, but none for the older brothers. It's like it is fine for a man to be single, but not a woman....

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I couldn't agree more! No one mentions that John-David, Jana's twin, is just as single as she is. It's like the onus is all on the girls to get out there and get married, but the guys can relax and "be guys" for however long they want to.

      Delete
    2. I like what you are saying, but maybe it is because Jana is the only one of the older girls left (well there have to be someone if they didn't all married at the same time). I wish that, if Jana would like, she could have her own room and not be sleeping with the little girls because she is a young adult and there is quite a age difference between her and the little ones.

      Delete
    3. That's not what it's about, it's the fact that all the other older sisters are engaged/married, and she's left by herself at home. The boys all still have each other.
I do wish the guys would find some great girls too tho!

  74. wow, so young , whats the rush to get married? have a life enjoy you youth , your just a child, ...... my daughter is 20 years old, and way to young to get that committed to another , she is still figuring out who she is, like most young adults .... and why are the courtships so short , once they enter a courtship , they are married within a year . any way sorry to be the sour note. just a mom that thinks you have the rest of your life to be an adult and so little time left to be a young women .

    2. janecarthy- I have a 19 year old daughter and a 21 year old son. If either of them came to us to say they were planning to get married any time soon, I would not be thrilled. I want them to finish their educations and have a solid footing in a career first.

    3. Some 19 and 21 year olds are not ready for marriage, but isn't it great that God made everyone different? People mature at different rates. I was married at 19 and have been happily married for a quarter of a century.

  75. It's time for one of the brothers to come into the spotlight. This is getting to be routine. We already know the formula, courting, engagement, wedding and baby announcement and then they start all over. I honestly thought they would have waited a little bit longer. Joy still have her baby face.

  76. If you do talk to Joy (or Jinger, who is the fashionista of the family), can you ask her to consider a tea-length gown? She is so young and I think it would suit her style better; I just don't see her in a full-length gown like her sisters. Something demure, with lace. She could even wear cowboy boots :)

  80. Kinda feel bad for her, she is 19 and is in engaged to be married, then might be pregnant before her 20th birthday, thats insane. I mean two of her sisters are already have two kids, at least Jeremy and Jinger put it out there that they are not rushing into having kids as of yet. I just hope these two will follow those two.

  84. Congats Joy and Austin! When is the wedding?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Congrats to Joy and Austin....Its been said their wedding is near the end of October ...not sure if that is 'fact'. Also...regarding comments about feeling sorry for Jana: please don't feel sorry for her! Jana is talented, smart, beautiful, accomplished in many ways and makes financial investments with future business plans in mind. She has had more than several interested offers to court and felt the right person hasn't asked yet. She has loving family and friends and faith in the one and only true God. She is healthy and has some financial assets.... Don't take the gossip of the haters and jealous too seriously....she is not made to babysit and be a slave as many fabricate ...she loves helping her siblings and parents...but she has other interests also...and does have a social life. so please do not help perpetuate the rumors by dramatizing her singleness as being something to pity.....if the right man comes she will marry...if not...she will enjoy her life in serving and enjoying life. Not every married christian is happy....so don't think that is the only path for happiness....
