  1. CONGRATULATIONS, John David! You'll get it one of these times!! If I lived near you I WOULD vote for you! I LOVE how your family gets into politics! It's wonderful! There is a fine line between religion and politics, and with your family being SO religious, I'm surprised you ARE into politics, but SOOO HAPPY that you are! It could be VERY difficult depending upon the people that you would be running against and for what you are running for, and with your beliefs, which is why I am SO PROUD of you for doing so! You are NOT allowing your beliefs to stand in the way, but to help PAVE the way! WONDERFUL!!! It 'can' be a VERY difficult thing to do, and I say KOODLES TO YOU! Congratulations, John David, for giving it a 2nd try, too! I HOPE you WILL go for a 3rd try! Yesterday was NOT a failure, but a VICTORY because who else would keep on trying?! I say 3rd times the CHARM!!
ALL the Best from ALL of your supporters!

  8. It is an honour to get to sit and read your blog
I have a question for you.

I was wondering if any of the Duggars sponsor a child in an impoverished country?

I heard that Josh and Anna sponsor a family in africa and I was wondering if maybe Jill sponsors a girl from Honduras or El Salvador.

Well if you can answer this question,It would be deeply appreciate it.

Thank you So much for posting.
Keep us all updated on this wonderful family.

  13. Never ever stop trying, John David! Some of us are counting on you Duggars and Bates to KEEP ON REPRODUCING, and teaching your kids about politics! We just found out on Nov 6th, that it seems that we're outnumbered!

  16. @Anonymous

    Hi Anonymous,

Alderman is another name for a city council member. Some cities call them aldermen, but others call them councilmen or council members.

  21. Will he be getting married soon?

  22. God will allow John David into office when he realizes the diverse world God created. Either that or no other votes grow until the Duggars can outnumber them. God didn't say one family should be an empire or a nation to itself.

  23. I'm not surprised he lost! Most people would be wary of voting for someone so young and inexperienced!! Adding to the fact the his family embraces the war on women, he doesn't seen like a candidate who would garner a whole lot of votes!!
