19 Cubicles and Counting

We bring you more footage of the Duggars in Japan! (Thanks to a loyal reader for the link.) Like the previous video (click here to view), the first half introduces the family with clips from past episodes of TLC's 19 Kids and Counting.

At 28:00, the Duggars load their suitcases into a truck and leave for the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport. At 31:15, they arrive in Tokyo and board a tour bus emblazoned with the words "Welcome Duggar Family." Watch as the family learns the art of Japanese sword fighting, experiences a Japanese cubicle hotel, and tastes traditional Japanese cuisine. From 46:15 to 48:45, the Duggars walk the streets of Tokyo and purchase food from a street vender.

  2. Thank you Lily and Ellie for sharing the Japanese program links and recap!

The episode is the FujiTV documentary series "Kiseki Taiken, Unbelievable!" or "Miracle Experience, Unbelievable!" from November 1. The producers did a fantastic job introducing the Duggar Family to their Japanese audience. The hosts and graphics are fun and entertaining. Loved the kids speaking Japanese (yes, I know it was dubbed). The clips from 19 Kids are great examples of their many trips and experiences, showing the miracles of God's blessings in their lives.

I noticed Jim Bob was matched with Jackson and prodding Joseph in Japanese sword fighting. After laser tag and fencing, guess Jim Bob learned he is out-matched by the fearless Justin Duggar. Josie was so adorable and energetic in the cubicle hotel segment. I think Jinger especially liked seeing the big city, Tokyo. It appears all the children really enjoyed experiencing Japan. God bless them all.

Think the hosts were sharing a Duggar trivia question at 45 minutes, what month has the most birthdays? December has 5 birthdays - Josie, Jordyn, Jinger, Jedidiah and Jeremiah. (Expounding on that trivia, if you include Jana, John-David and Josiah in January, that is 8 Duggar birthdays in a six week period.)

The show's theme posted in english after the end credits [48:31] certainly fits the Duggars... "Miracles Do Exist".

  4. I guess I don't know enough Japanese to understand most of this. However, it was great fun to watch it anyway. really looking forward for when we get to see the subbed version here in the U.S.

  5. Well, I have to say I think the power rangers were wasted on the Duggar's. They probably didn't have a clue.

  12. The quiz they gave had 2 questions: What is something unusual in the kids' rooms?
The answer was a speaker system for Dad to give announcements.
then, What is an event the Duggars have almost every month?
the answer was a birthday party as they must have a few birthdays each month.
