  3. I have an honest question. Newsweek published an article about Rick Santorum's wife's 6-year affair with a man who was 40 years her senior AND an abortion doctor. Has anyone heard Karen Santorum address this issue? Something like "I was young and naive and have had a change in heart."?

Santorum seems like a good guy, but I can't justify supporting someone like that until his wife addresses the issue. Makes me wonder what other skeletons he might have in his closet.

    1. Why are we so quick to judge someone for their past sins, I agree it was a really bad choice she made and not one that is honorable in any way but how would any of us feel if all of the things you did where discussion on a blog and why do we hold others at fault for what someone eles does just because his wife madde a poor choice does not mean he ould have been a bad president, and just because the Duggers susport him does not mean they agree with the sin that happened. As Jesus said you with out sin be the first to cast a stone.

  4. I'm new to your blog so I hope I'm not asking a question that you have already answered. Do the Duggers take the entire family when they travel to speaking engagements? I homeschool 5 children everyday and I have a hard time getting through it all. How do they get anything done when it seems like they are always on the road

  5. i like the duggars. loved the show a few years ago, but lately jim bob and michelle are away from home so much. with so many little ones at home, and little Josie, they need to be home more often. was just looking at her schedule. i'm sure her daughters are doing a great job taking care of the children, but they need mama.. sorry, i used to be a big fan, not so much anymore. not into politics. and I agreee with Jen. they're supporting a man whose wife is an adulteress?

  6. Hi Adrienne,

Glad to have you as a reader!

Jim Bob and Michelle do not usually take the entire family on every tour. For example, their trip to Iowa to campaign for Santorum was Jim Bob and about twelve of the older kids. Then they headed to the east coast to continue campaigning, but that was only Jim Bob, Michelle, Josh (and his family), John, Jessa, Jinger, and Jill. Michelle flew back and forth from Arkansas a few times. Grandma Duggar and Jana were back home taking care of the younger ones.

Michelle is not usually gone for long when she travels, but the older girls enjoy taking care of their siblings while she is gone. They (and Grandma) also help the kids keep up with school and have friends who check in to make sure everything is going smoothly.

Hope this answers your question. Have a great weekend!
