  1. John David is a man, with goals and aspirations. Good for him for following his dreams. And yes, goodbyes are very hard no matter the age of your kids. Cant wait to watch it tonight.
    Thanks for sharing again.

  3. I am amazed every time I see these children at how much they accomplish! They all have goals, and like Joseph and John-David have demonstrated, you can reach them if you just work hard! All of the children, including Joseph and John, have bright futures ahead of them!

My favorite part of the video was when Joseph said goodbye to Josie, and she responded with "Bye, Joe", and the Joe ended up sounding more like "doe"! It was just so cute!

  6. I must disagree with the two "anonymous" comments stating how the Duggar children are "accomplishing much" and "doing what jog they want; not just what their parents want". Of the 18 and over Duggars not one has attended a non-online college or works outside the home at a full-time job; Josh "owns" a business, but is hardly ever there (travels constantly) and Jana and Jill are pursuing careers that could require more in-school education for certifications. It is JD who worked a towing business and took pilot training courses. He, also, seemed to have attained a home with some type work trade off with the bank. Jessa and Jinger, still under their parents authority of homeschooling, doing housework and caring for their younger siblings (not certain what their goals they have in mind). They all COULD have bright futures; it seems the parents wants DO count!

  7. HI, I am a registered nurse and I am curious if Jill is actually in a nursing program to become a licensed nurse midwife? Also will Joe be taking advanced training at ALERT when he is finished with basic training? One last question. Where does Josie get such light blond hair and the curls? Since I was a NICU nurse, I prayed for her constantly and truly know what I miracle she is for a micro preemie. A lot of families do not have the healthy happy little girl at three years of the age that Josie is. She is truly a miracle child . I know all our children are miracles and God's greatest gift to use but she is a double miracle. I am glad that the Duggar family show is so popular because regardless what religion you are it shows things everyone should strive for. Serving God, serving others, a marriage is something special that is a lifelong commitment, children are a blessing and that it is more blessed to give than to receive. All things that need to be reinforced during these troubled times. They are an inspiration to all who watch. My girls are equally amazing and it is nice to know that there are a lot of teenagers and young adults who are growing to be wonderful members of society. It is in these kids hands that our future world has hope May God bless us all , and may God protect and bless America.

  8. Who exactly is Jonathon Hortono and why is he always with the family? I know he's been mentioned as a friend that they met on a mission trip but he appears to live with them and has been for some time. Why is Jim Bob worried about the girls flirting with guys, but he doesn't seem to be worried about Jonathon? Is he a "token" non-white person for the show?

  9. I actually find it terrifying that someone like JD Duggar is flying around solo. I wonder how safety conscious he is when the attitude his family espouse is "God will take care of everything".

He must be finding it real hard studying the theory with his level of education.

  10. @Jamie

    Hi Jamie,

Jonathan Hartono is a foreign exchange student from Indonesia. The Duggars have said that their house is his "home away from home."

  11. This is for the anonymous comment. Very rude, obviously John David has been studying to fly or he would not be certified to fly solo. Hes not flying a 747. What does the Duggar values have to do with John David's intelligence. If you had faith in God, that comment would not have come out of your mouth.
