Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo

Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo are now husband and wife! After the wedding, the newlyweds planned to spend a couple days together in the United States before embarking on a fabulous trip "Down Under."

Isn't Jinger's wedding dress absolutely gorgeous? We posted a wedding photo of Jill and Derick Dillard, as well as Jessa and Ben Seewald, for comparison. Each Duggar sister has a uniquely beautiful gown.

  6. Where did Jinger get her dress? Was it her mother's. I am wondering. It is so beautiful and fitting for her. Thanks so much Lily and Ellie for posting the nice pics!
    Sincerely,
    Grace

  7. my mother wore the exact same dress in 1965

  8. Jinger's dress is my favorite by far. The lace sleeves are very on-trend. It's simple yet elegant. Nice work, Jing.

  9. Absolutely love that Jinger has more of an intentional hairstyle that is off her shoulders and less traditional to the duggar wedding hairstyles... Shows the classy look of her dress and that is why her look is my favourite. So so classy and timeless.

    1. I like that her hair was in a "do" as well. It just elevates and makes the whole look more special. This is my favorite Duggar bridal look too. Classic and timeless sophistication. Ginger has great taste.

    2. I agree with you, Jinger's hairstyle is very beautiful. Her dress is very classic, and Jeremy's suit is the best of all the grooms.

    3. That was my first thought. Love the beautiful long locks, but a wedding calls for a lovely updo.

  10. I've liked each of the girls wedding dresses for different reasons - all beautifully fitted & styled. However, I think Jessa' beautiful wedding dress with nipped in waist was lost a little being covered up by her hair - Jessa' hair worn up I think would have been the elegant finishing touch & really highlighted her face. Obviously that's my opinion & Jessa preferred her hair worn loose.

  12. Jill has the most spontaneous and lovely smile .... Jeremy does not seem to smile with his heart on that pic... Saying this, I wish each couple to be happy and fine in their own way. Reality show are good for money but there is more in life ....

  13. Jingers dress is my favorite out of all the weddings we've seen! That is the most gorgeous dress!! And I love the up do! Very beautiful

  14. I wonder why none of these men wear a tux? Jinger looked so phenomenal, and then Jeremy's in a normal business suit. A conservative tux would have really complimented her formal look.

    ReplyDelete

    1. I disagree; I find tuxedos to be outdated, particularly for weddings. A nice tailored suit is a perfect formal wedding look for a groom.

      Delete
    2. ...plus the majority of men rent tuxedos rather than own one. That's what teenagers do for prom; grown men should wear their own nice clothes in favor of a rented tux.

      Delete
    3. I agree but hes very handsome a beutiful couple jinger such an awesome dress.

      Delete
    4. Love the suit. I think they both look wonderful.

      Delete
    5. My husband wore a suit to our wedding also... I personally find a nice suit and tie more appealing than a tux...

      Delete
    6. Tuxes are not as stylish as they once were. The more up-to-date style is a suite or just vests. Agreed, it is not everyone's style. It is just what is trending in wedding attire.

      Delete
    7. It is considered bad etiquette and poor taste to wear a tuxedo to a daytime wedding. As outdated as many rules of etiquette may be, many people still adhere to them for events as momentous as a wedding.

      Delete
    8. I consulted my collection of etiquette books, some dating back to the 1910's, and nowhere does it say that a tuxedo is out of order for a daytime wedding. In fact, nowhere is the word tuxedo even used. It's all about "formal" wear, morning coats, cutaways, white coats, etc. I've never, in my own life, heard that a tuxedo of any sort was in poor taste for a wedding before 6pm.

  15. Just viewed the congratulatory video from Jeremy's parents. Wow, I have to say that Mr. & Mrs. Vuolo looked both elegant and were quite articulate. Mr. Vuolo's suit was a good quality one and he looked appropriately "father of the groom". Mrs. Vuolo's gown was tasteful and becoming on her. Her hair, make up, class all the way, folks. I'm sorry that the Duggar reception didn't match the Vuolo's elegance.

  16. Yes, I do like her dress. Kind of Kate Middleton inspired? But i LOVE her bouquet- looks really unique

  17. I do like that it's a very classic and timeless dress. I think generations from now, it'll still be "in". I'm saying this because I would like to wear my own mother's wedding dress when i get married, but there is SO much I will have to get reworked or altered. It's from 1987, and so there are huge puffy sleeves, and a ton of other stuff that I don't necessarily want.

    ReplyDelete

    1. I, too, was married in a ball gown, huge ruffled sleeves, bows and a cathedral train...1986....Princess Di's gown was our model!

  18. Jinger was the most beautiful out of the 3. Her hair, gown and makeup was gorgeous. Like out of a magazine.

    2. Why are Christian brides better than atheist brides or brides from other religions?

      Delete
    3. A bride doesn't have to be Christian to be gorgeous...

      Delete
    4. Anon @3:52 All brides are beautiful, no matter their religious persuasion.

      Delete
    5. You should see the brides in Japan, India, and the Middle East, if you want to see gorgeous brides. Their wedding traditions are far more ornate and beautiful than any Christian wedding.

      Delete
    6. Oh yes and in India I believe they change 3 or 4 times. The wedding dress is red (I think) and the jewelry is so gorgeous but I can<t see these girls dressing this way. I love that Jessa chose a non traditional dress by getting a color other than white and its perfect for her. Anyway I think all of these girls (Anna Duggar included). Every bride should get a dress that they love and feel great in the dress. Family and friends should be a little kinder with the bride. After all it is the bride and groom's day.

  32. Love Jinger's dress the best. However, my choice for best dressed groom is Ben!

  33. I'm afraid that Jessa and Ben looked more like the homecoming king and queen on a float than a bride and groom. Her gown was pretty, but just not "bridal".

  39. All 3 girls had different looks on their special day but I loved Jinger's the most. She looked elegant and it seemed that she put some effort into her look. Jill was barefoot; still remember the picture of Derick lifting her up and those filthy feet were front and centre. Not cool Jill.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Not cool to write a comment like that. Nothing wrong with going barefoot.

      Delete
    2. Having filthy feet on display for all to see? That is indeed "not cool". Go barefoot at the beach or in the backyard. Quite frankly going barefoot in a House of God is tacky

      Delete
    3. Barefoot at church? Unnecessary with so many cute shoes/sandals/slippers available for brides. Save the bare tootsies for the beach weddings

    1. When will Jim Bob have Jana courting? She's a grown woman, perfectly capable of making her own life decisions. Marriage and family may or may not be for everyone. This isn't the eighteenth century.

      Delete
    2. We alllllll know by now that Jim Bob is the one to do the approving and the picking. He has to know the guy first, and the guy has to fill out that 50-page questionnaire. It is indeed the eighteenth century somewhere.

      Delete
    3. I think by now it's obvious despite the structure and family rules her father isn't making the choice for Jana. At her age he shouldn't feel the need. If her father had allowed her to continue her education like she wanted more opportunities would have prevailed to meet someone special.

  43. For the folks who don't know what Jessa's dress lookwd like, this pic didn't show much, especially the eautiful botton half ,it was georgous.I think the perfect dress would be the bottom of Jessa's and the top of Jingers, that would make a sensational gown.

  44. Some of the rental tuxes look like suits so these guys may well have on what are considered tuxes. I love love Jinger's hairstyle and hope she continues to break Duggar rules to look like a fresh young woman. You can be modest and modern at the same time!

    1. How did her hairstyle break "Duggar rules"?

  45. Wearing suits is the trend now. The money spent on a suit means you have it to wear many times over. The price of renting a tuxedo for only one occasion is becoming ridiculously expensive.

I think it is smart and frugal of couples to think ahead like that.

However, I do believe that Derick Dillard and his groomsmen rented tuxedos.

Last, I believe that Jeremy's suit fit in with the classy vintage wedding theme Jinger had. Back in the 30's, 40's and 50's often times men wore their personal suits to marry in.

I personally thought the couple looked absolutely stunning. Jinger has a very "classy" style.

My favorite of the three weddings thus far!

  46. All three of the girls were absolutely beautiful in their own ways on their wedding days, and their dresses & hair suited their personalities so well. Congrats, Jinger and Jeremy! Can't wait to see the wedding!!
