Jinger and Her Bridesmaids

With less than two hours to go before the wedding, Jinger Duggar and the bridesmaids gather outside the church to snap photos (video below). The bride tried hard to choose colors and dresses that the girls would feel beautiful in.

  1. Maybe a silly question, but is that young girl in the far left Johannah?

  2. All the different colors detract from Ginger. It is
really hard to focus on one person.

    1. How could anything detract from such a beautiful bride???

    2. I totally agree. I don't get including purple, pink and red together. I like it less every time I look at it. choosing one color in different styles would have worked better.

    3. I agree -- beautiful bride.

    4. I agree. Too many colors.

    5. I agree, Jill's dress just doesn't go. But I love everyone else's.

  3. Where are Jennifer and Jordyn?
Love the colors, except Jills- wish it'd been more muted like Jana or Johannahs

    1. The woman who did her wedding dress made all the bridesmaid dresses, so watch the show where they went to try on dresses to get her info or check on google for it. Good luck, Lily

  6. Very pretty style of dress for the bridesmaids. Most of the colours were flattering to each other but Jana, Jill and Johanna's colours didn't really coordinate with the other autumn tones. Have to say though, Jana really did look lovely in that shade. Regardless, Jinger looked happy and that's all that matters. Her day

    1. Yes, she was a bridesmaid! Thankfully, her husband was not in the wedding party.

    2. You know... King David was still a man "after God's own heart," despite all he did, including adultery and then having the woman's husband killed.

    3. Nor did he grab her and kiss her as she went up the aisle at the end, the way Derick did with Jill.

    4. To Anonymous at 6:50 pm...Josh grabbed Anna coming up the aisle during either Jill's wedding or Jessa's wedding though!!!! Derick was not the first to do that.

  15. I really loved the arrangement of Come Thou Fount at their wedding ceremony as Jinger and Jeremy did the unity candle lighting, was that someone's original arrangement? Super pretty, congrats to the newlyweds!

They must have had a beautiful day.

  18. The bridal party looked beautiful, the dresses were lovely and looked wonderful all together! The girls all complimented each other and the gorgeous bride!!

  19. This was the classiest wedding yet! Polished to perfection both bride/groom, bridesmaids/groomsmen. Simply elegant, well done. Plus the bride worse shoes!

  20. Who are all the bridesmaids? I recognize her sisters, but some of those friends we have never seen or heard of on the show.

  21. She had the most beautiful dress of the girls so far & the best bridesmaids dresses too!

  22. Loved the vintage looking dress and hairstyle on Jinger, it was super gorgeous - not sure if that is what she was going for but that is how it looked to me - very nice and well done! I also loved the hidden red shoes. (I really loved the red shoes in People to bad they were not seen more.) The entire look, to me, looked vintage, unique and beautiful. Also loved the bridesmaids they were all beautiful too. Super glad TLC sped it up to let us see the wedding this season. It looks like we will get to see the details of the preparing for it next season (if I understood that right) can't wait.

  23. Why did she choose Jessa as her maid of honor and not Jana? I know they're like best friends, but Jessa is marry and pregnant and Jana is single and why they choose the marry sisters to be bridesmaids but the husband are left out? I just don't get it

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Jessa would have been the matron of honor as she is married.

      Delete
    2. The bride usually chooses her bridesmaids, and the groom his groomsmen. They both know a lot of people, so they have to limit it somehow. Jeremy and Ben no doubt know each other a lot better than Jeremy and Derick, since Ben was the one who introduced Jeremy & Jinger to each other. And of course Jinger would choose her best friend to be her maid of honor, whether that friend was married and pregnant or not! Being married and pregnant isn't the important factor in that decision, the relationship is. Just like Jill picked Jana for her maid of honor because the two of them were so close.

      Delete
    3. The maid/matron of honor is traditionally the bride's best friend and Jinger and Jessa have been exceptionally close their whole lives.

  26. Jennifer and Jordyn unfortunately were not included in the bridal party. It would have been nice if the other two little girls were in the party. At least Jill had all the little girls in her party, which was nice.

    1. I agree. Princess Josie was included of course...coronation and all. Jordyn and Jennifer had to feel the sting of being totally left out. They certainly could have been flower girls or Jr bridesmaids. Says a lot about the true family dynamics.

  27. She should have keep Anna out of this.

    1. Why should Anna not have been included.

      Delete
    2. Obviously, she has the right to pick whoever she wants. Why should Anna be ostracized because of what her husband did???

      Delete
    3. Why? Obviously they are close.

      Delete
    4. Anna is not to be blame for what Josh did!! And obviously Jinger believes that, good for Jinger!!!!

      Delete
    5. Do you want us to blame you for everything wrong YOUR relatives do?

      Delete
    6. It wasn't just Josh's wrongs, it was a series of wrongs by his parents and Josh and everyone else who had knowledge of what happened - including the sisters, who could have spoken up to someone.

  28. Where can you watch the wedding episode? For some reason my DVR missed it!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'm glad she included Anna as one of her bridesmaids and again Derick and Jill tried to steal the spot with that ridiculous kiss!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don't like the 10 shades of dresses look. It's too much.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Who did choose the color of dresses? Is it Jinger or does every bridesmaids pick their own color?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Beautiful dresses and the ladies all look amazing. I recognize i think Jennifer is her name on the left by Johanna. Her and her brother have been on past shows with them. They met when they translated for 2 of the duggars on a missions trip. But who are the 3 ladies on the right? I loved that they included Anna.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think they were all absolutely stunning! It took me looking at them a few minutes to see the beauty. I thought it was original and very appropriate to have fall berry colors. Everything about the wedding was gorgeous! Never seen such a beautiful bride either!

  34. I enjoyed watching the wedding everyone looked nice. I am so Happy for the couple congrats Jinger and Jeremy your wedding was great.

  35. Why? What has Anna done wrong? Why should she be punished for the things her husband did? Why should her family isolate her and not include her in special events because of her husband's behavior? Doesn't seem fair to me. She did nothing wrong.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Yes she did, she refuses to leave him to keep her children safe.

    2. Well, she married Josh even though she knew what he had been up to. Is that not something wrong? And she stayed with him, a move not real popular with everyone. And she reminds us that if she's there, Josh can't be far behind.

    3. Anon@11:08 & 12:00PM- I cut Anna some slack, because she is the product of a very sheltered and strict fundamentalist ideology. We cannot know what family pressure she may have been under to marry Josh. She has likely been indoctrinated to believe that it's her Christian duty to forgive, as well as believe that it's her responsibility to stay with her husband, no matter his betrayal. I would have kicked Josh to the curb a long time ago and certainly not have married him in the first place if I'd known of his past issues. However, I was brought up in an entirely different family dynamics where I was taught to think and stand up for myself. I have only pity for people who are so blinded by religion and what self-proclaimed 'men of God' deem righteous that they lose all ability to reason and make sound decisions for themselves.

    4. She did nothing wrong!!!! Anna it's a great woman, wife and a GREAT MOTHER!!!!!!

    5. Wow, the hatred for Josh, even extending to his wife, is real. It's almost as if none of you all have ever sinned or even read the Bible. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23.

      Delete
    6. Sorry to inform the Romans that I have never done anything that comes even close to the transgressions that have happened within this family.

    7. Anonymous 6:59 PM -- Consult your Bible regarding the grievousness of your own sins. I haven't done what Josh did, either, but I am a SINNER.

  36. Let those without sin cast the first stone. I'm waiting.

    1. I'll cast one. I've never touched a child inappropriately or cheated on my spouse. My conscience is clear.

      Delete
    2. Regina- What are you waiting for, exactly, a laundry list of 'sins'?
I have NEVER betrayed a loved one by leading a double life and placing my spouse's health and well-being in jeopardy. If you would stay with someone who would treat you so horribly, that's on you.

      Delete
    3. I have nothing to be guilty of, either. I don't know what church is telling you to hold everyone accountable because they're all sinners. I don't find that to be the case, nor do my beliefs teach that. And you should hear the kinds of stuff the Pope is now forgiving!

  37. I would bet my life savings that the anti-Josh and anti-Anna commenters here voted for Crooked HIllary. The mentality is so apparent.

    1. That is totally unfair and untrue and mean-spirited. I voted for Hillary and I support Anna and the forgiveness of Josh. Do not lump all of us into your incorrect generalizations.

    2. What's so wrong with voting for Hillary? Most of the country did. I've heard of sore losers, but this sounds like a sore winner.

  40. Who are the non-Duggar bridesmaids?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Didn't anybody else notice where the whole wedding party was on stage for pictures & John David was trying to make it known to his parents & or brother's with his eyes about Jackson Duggar & the boy Tyler being up on stage where they weren't supposed to be, photo bombing & destroying the professional photo where all the groomsmen are showing off their socks that the groom gave to them, so John David & Jeremy's brother were prevented from posing with the rest of the groomsmen onstage because of Jackson & Tyler destroying that moment by photo bombing, so I wonder who it or they were that ignored John Davids eye request to remove Jackson & Tyler? Also, who were all those people on stage on the Duggar's side for the professional photos of Jinger's family & Jeremy's family because there were lots of people up there that did not belong in the Duggar/Voulo family photo, so most of the Duggar girls weren't even in the family photo due to the known & unknown photo bombers? And finally, why was Jeremy's sister the only one wearing her hair up instead of down like the rest of the females in the wedding party?
