Phone a Duggar

This afternoon, tune in to Washington Watch with guest host Josh Duggar. Josh will be discussing Growing Up Duggar and will be joined by his family. And here's the best part: They will be taking phone calls! Washington Watch goes live on TonyPerkins.com at 4:00 CST/5:00 EST.

  1. I really don't know why any of the brothers are discussing the book since they didn't write it. The girls should be the only ones being interviewed, and I've noticed that Josh or Jim Bob always bring up politics even though the book has nothing to do with their political views. Really, the girls wrote a book about their lives and experiences, they should be the only ones talking about the book. It's really annoying how they take whatever publicity they're given and always mix it with politics.

  2. It was fun and interesting to see Josh as the host of a radio show and it was nice that his sisters were featured on a show. I caught the end of the girls when Josh finally directed a question to Jana, which she answered very well. Then the girls were leaving at 4:30 to arrive at their book signing by 5 pm est. It is great to see the girls busy as authors of a book and Josh taking on important jobs.

  3. I totally agree with the first comment. I myself couldn't figure out why the whole family had to go on tour especially Josh.

  5. Jim Bob and Josh especially seem to be camera hogs. They can't let someone else get all the glory without seeming to think they need to be a part of all the attention as well. Don't think it is going to change now. Like at the wedding of someone else- on their special day- when Josh had to do something to draw attention to himself. It must start with saying how it is soo important to love yourself and who you are first that they take that literally and act like they are sooo important and everyone wants to see and hear me me me me.

  6. Did anyone notice that the show was about politics? It would stand to reason that they would be talking about politics. I'm also not sure why the other family members should not talk about the book. They are a family, a very close family, one would think they would want to use any platform they are given to help each other.
