Duggars and Cats

What do the Duggars think about pets, particularly cats? Jinger and Jeremy recently adopted a pet cat, and they love him so much that Jeremy is willing to suffer through his allergic reactions. Some of the other siblings, however, aren't as thrilled about cats. They share their thoughts in the video below.

The Duggars return with new episodes of Counting On in just 12 days. The new season will kick off with Felicity Vuolo's birth and John-David Duggar's engagement. In case you're wondering why only a few of the adult Duggar siblings are in the promo photo above, we assure you that they won't be the only ones appearing on the show this season.

Felicity Waves Hello

In two days, Felicity Vuolo will officially be five months old. Check out this new photo of Jinger and Jeremy's little munchkin. We think it looks like she's waving to the camera.

The Tater Tot Casserole Myth

If you happen to think that tater tot casserole is the Duggars' favorite meal, you're not the only one. "There was a period of time that we, anytime we invited anybody over, we had tater tot casserole," says Joseph. It caught on, and the super-sized family quickly became known for this unique dish, so much so that people started making it for them. As a result, they stopped cooking it for an extended period of time.

Now, it's time to introduce Jeremy Vuolo to tater tot casserole. While Jim Bob, Michelle, and some of the boys are visiting Jinger and Jeremy, they decide to have the guys prepare meals for the ladies. So the menfolk head to the store to pick up ingredients for both tater tot casserole and barbecued tuna fish (video below).

The recipe for tater tot casserole can be found on our Recipes page. To make his BBQ tuna, Jim Bob adds BBQ sauce (the Duggars recommend Kansas City Masterpiece) to canned tuna.

Duggars Going Down Under!

For all of our faithful readers who live in Australia and have been eager to meet the Duggars, the family is finally making a trip Down Under! We know that a few of you ran into Jinger and Jeremy on their honeymoon, but this time, they are participating in a public event.

Last January, Gil and Kelly Bates, along with daughter Carlin Bates, visited Australia, and in just a few weeks, the Duggars will follow suit.

Kids for the Vuolos?

On last night's season premiere episode of Counting On, the Vuolos and Seewalds meet up in San Antonio, Texas. When asked by the producer if spending time with Spurgeon and Henry makes them want to have children of their own, Jinger and Jeremy respond that they are enjoying this season of life as a couple but that they plan to start a family someday.

In the video clip below, Jessa and Ben share why San Antonio is such a special place for Jinger and Jeremy. Almost three years ago, when they were passing through the city on their way to a Duggar family vacation, the Seewalds met Jeremy...and the rest is history!

Jinger and Jeremy have a house guest! In this clip, they entertain Jedidiah in their Laredo apartment, and all three of them pitch in to make brunch. 'Counting On' Season Finale

We have some good news and some not-so-good news. The good news is that it's Monday, which means a new episode of Counting On is coming your way. The not-so-good news is that it's the season finale.
