  1. She is precious! And definitely seems to have taken after Jeremy in looks

  2. I like how Jeremy is able to say "Jinger and me" when appropriate instead of always using "I" to try to sound intelligent even when it's incorrect. He's no Duggar, that's for sure!

    1. Yes! I like the Duggars, but I wish they knew their nominative and objective case pronouns.

    2. You are so right. I love to hear good grammar.

    3. Saying Junger and I is the correct way and " to sound intelligent"- really? How drol( yep I guess I'm trying to sound intelligent?)

    4. 8:27 You don't get it. They constantly mix up when to say "I" and when to say "me." OP said Jeremy uses the terms "when appropriate," meaning he uses them correctly.

I've heard that using "I" wrong all the time is called using "the hyper-I." Saying "He gave it to Jinger and I" is wrong, yet you hear the Duggars do it all the time. Jeremy would say, "He gave it to Jinger and me."

    5. The misuse of I and me is common and I hear it a lot on reality shows. Most people don't know the difference, and think that I is always correct.

    6. Actually , Jinger and me is correct. If you take out Jinger, and say “...this little piece of me”, you can see that is correct. You would never say “...a little piece of I”

    7. 8:27 - Jinger and me is correct. When determining when to use I or me, use the word in a sentence. You wouldn't say that your child is "a little piece of I," you would say your child is "a little piece of me."

    8. "Of Ginger and me" is correct but not just because it sounds right. It follows the rules of grammar. The pronoun is functioning as the object of the preposition and must be in the objective case. "Me" is objective case. ("I" is not; it's nominative case.)

    1. How many parents of newborns do exactly the same thing? They make a video of their baby. Jeremy & Jinger’s baby is not on TV. She is on a video.

    2. I hope any money earned from this birth goes into a separate account in Felicity's name, for her to use later in life.

    3. 8:29, or maybe it’ll be used to do fun things with her while she’s a kid. Making memories with your family’s is one of the greatest things in life. I think what a lot of people don’t realize is what all being on tv has allowed the Duggar kids to do.

    4. I find it a little much that Jinger JUST gave birth and had to put make up on and do her hair just for this quick and unnecessary little interview. But it’s their life and if they choose to live it publicly, that’s up to them. They won’t stop no matter what we say or think so.🤷🏻‍♀️

    5. 1:28, I put makeup on and did my hair a day or two after giving birth to take newborn pictures. No one has to do it, but if you choose to it’s nice to have some cute pictures (as well as some candid pictures if you have a birth photographer) to look back on later.

  4. Beautiful sweet baby girl!!!! But I'm really surprised jinger and Jeremy are posting videos and such. I thought they would be ones to quietly step out of the line light and live a private life so their daughter and future children will have a small bit of a "normal" life, far away from cameras and gossip rag mags like us weekly and people..... thought jinger wouldn't want to exploit her kids for financial gain??

    1. I'm actually not that surprised because although Jeremy may be a tad more progressive than the Duggars, he obviously loves the limelight (he's even admitted this has been a stumbling block for him).

Not only did he play professional soccer, he had his sermons available on the Internet way before he got involved with the Duggars. And I focus on Jeremy here, since while I'm sure he values Jinger's input (they very well may have compromised on when to start a family, Jeremy had stated before he wanted to wait 3 or more years), in the end he's the decision-maker about such major issues.

Maybe one day J+J will follow in the footsteps of Jill and Derick and decide the TV exposure isn't worth it, but even the Dillards (including the kids) still have a very prominent Net presence. It is what it is.

    2. Anonymous 5:12 I understand what you are saying, perhaps they want to get some photos out and the hopefully they will be left alone. I don’t see anything wrong with making a few bucks....the baby won’t remember and they may not be on tv by the time she is. Love seeing the pics!

    1. Babies are a wonderful gift indeed, but I feel the opposite as you - I don't like the way newborns look. So purple, wrinkly, and all the same, ha! I think they're much cuter in a few weeks or months.

    2. None of my babies were purple after me giving birth, and newborn babies don’t all look the same.
