Vuolo, Party of 3

Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo welcomed Felicity Nicole Vuolo on Thursday, and we just can't get over what a beautiful family the three of them make. The new arrival shares her mommy's middle name, and her first name, Felicity, means happiness.

Felicity makes a total of twelve Duggar grandchildren. Nine are boys, and three are girls. How perfect that No. 12 arrived just in time for Jim Bob and Michelle's 34th wedding anniversary!

    1. To the spelling patrol: it's most likely auto correct on a phone because my phone won't recognize Jinger, instead it spells it with a G.

  4. By their 35th anniversary Duggars might have 15 grandkids. I'm sure Josiah will have a honeymoon baby (count, April 2019). Anna has her kids about 2 years apart, so next Summer is very possible for her. Jill or Jessa might be already pregnant. And who knows, if John gets married soon, he might have a baby next Summer as well.
With majority of Duggar kids staying in the area, they can organize a small school for all the grandkids, with one of moms teaching there.

    1. Joy will have one more baby by then is my guess :) i bet for a pregnancy anouncement from her in 2 month or less.

    2. 3:44, Gideon is only 5 months old and she had a csection, so it would be extremely dangerous for her to have another baby so soon

    3. Josiah and Lauren have been married almost four months and no pregnancy announcement from them yet. I know Jessa has baby fever so maybe a preg annoucement from her and Ben???

  5. None of Duggar kids or grandkids has brown eyes, I think Felicity might be the first grandbaby with brown eyes (if she takes after Jeremy).

    1. Jeremy has hazel eyes, not brown

    2. Don't some of Kosh and Anna's children have brown eyes?

    1. Her "natural hair"? It's several shades lighter than it used to be. I like it.

    2. Years ago on 19 kids and counting they mentioned Jinger was the only girl with natural curly hair and only child left handed.
She is such a nice person and will be a wonderful loving mother to Felicity as she is a loving wife to Jeremy.

    2. Jill also wants a daughter - time will tell.
Jessa mentioned that the youngest child must be over 18 months to adopt - both Jill & Derick and Jessa and Ben would be able to do so at this time. I wish nothing but the best for the entire family(families).

    3. Not really, she's always been gushing about how she loves being a mom of boys. Plus, they don't make children to please one of the parents' desire...

    4. It would not be a good idea for Jill to get pregnant in the next 3 years...

  15. Dear Jeremy, Jinger and Felicity, Congratulations. I can't wait to see the birth on counting on. I wonder if she's going to be home school, private school, or public school as well as her future siblings? Natasha B.

    1. Her birth won't be on TV. Jinger and Jeremy are "different" than the rest of the clan. Wishing them all the best with Felicity. She is adorable and thanks for naming her a regular name. I do like Garrett tho and Meredith and Mackezie, but Spurgeon is really "out" there. He is so cute and deserves a regular name.

      Delete
    2. Jean your comment is rude and obnoxious. And I would guess Felicity’s birth will be on the show, considering that her birth announcement and gender reveal will both be there.

  20. I'm hoping someone will have some insight into my question. In the Jessa courtship show Jim Bob talked about how he would support his kids and let them live in a home he owned for one year after marriage. After that he said it is up to them to "leave and cleave" and be totally independent and self sufficient. However, since then we've seen Jill live in the guest house, Jessa still living in a Duggar house, Ben working for Jim Bob, etc. etc. The only one who seems financially independent is Jinger. Do you think he changed his views on this for some reason? He and Michelle seem to have been self sufficient and independent from the start of their marriage and I wonder why he seems to have fallen back on this rule????

    1. Joy Anna and Austin live independent of JB. My question is how is he going to provide housing for the large group of children remaoning at home. He has 4 boys who are at marrying age and ofcourse Jana so that os 5 he needs to marry off and provide homes and the little ones right behind them. Time flies. Hope that TLC keeps rolling in. Proud of Jinger and Jeremy.

      Delete
    2. Maybe if one of the kids/in laws work for them they can continue to live in one of their houses?

      Delete
    3. Anon @ 11:43 I remrmber Michelle saying when Josh got married that it was 'time to leave and cleave buddy', but not many of the Duggar kidults have. I know the house the Seewalds live in belonged to grandma Duggar but they bought it from her a while back. Josh and Anna live in a house owned by a friend of Jimbobs (unless they bought it back) and runs his car lot. The Dillards have lived in a couple of Duggar houses but currently live in student housing. Joe and Kendra live in grandmas old cabin on Duggar property, and all the sons work for their father, so the leave and cleave rule doesn't seem to be working.

      Delete
    4. @Anonymous @11:43am : Their finances are really none of our business; why do you even ask? J.B. & Michelle are Godly stewards & great examples to all their family & us as well. ❤

      Delete
    5. I didn't know that - Jessa is in the same house Anna & Josh first lived in for about 4 yrs so what you're saying hasn't rung true from his first married child. I'm haven't seen any evidence that idea or 'rule' as you call it was ever established.

      Delete
    6. Maybe Jessa and her husband are buying the home from them, or Jim Bob and Michelle decided to give them more time while he is in school. Jill and Dereck stayed in the guest house temporarily since they were going back to the field. Some of their kids may work for Jim Bob and Michelle but that doesn’t mean they are dependent on them anymore than anyone else is who is dependent on their boss for a paycheck. My husband’s boss isn’t paying our bills. His paycheck that he earns is paying our bills. Jim Bob wouldn’t pay them to sit around and not work.

      Delete
    7. It seem they isn’t raise most of their kids to be financially independent.

      Delete
    8. I believe Ben and Jessa own the house that used to be grandma Duggars....of course I read it online so consider the source. Joy Anna and Austin purchased their own fixer upper, Joe and Kendra moved and fixed up an old log home belonging to a family member, Jill and Derick are renting not sure who owns the property, not sure about Josh and Anna. There are lots of descriptions of “self sufficient” ....it seems to bother you that perhaps he may have softened his views on helping his kids? Life can be hard and today families help each other. I say it’s no ones business what their family does and bless them if they are able to make their kids life as they start out a little easier.

    9. I would think it's his/their business and he/they owe no one an explanation. Maybe he changed his mind. Maybe he prayed about it. Maybe they needed help and he's a gracious giver.

      Delete
    10. I am sorry but how is that any for your business. Your comment is totally inappropriate in so many ways.

      Delete
    11. I thought Jessa and Ben had bought that house after living in it for awhile.

      Delete
    12. The house that Jessa and Ben live in belongs to Mary Duggar, not Jim Bob. It is one of her properties that she rents out. Before Jessa & Ben, the house was rented by Josh & Anna.

      Delete
    13. I think Jill's living in the guest house was just temporary because of the nature of their missionary work. We don't know that Ben is still working for Jim Bob. And maybe Ben and Jessa are paying rent to Grandma Duggar. The house is in her name, not Jim Bob's, isn't it? For that matter, I don't think it's true that the only one who is financially independent is Jinger. Joy & Austin, Jill & Derick, Josh & Anna (we don't know their situation) - they have moved away from the family home and seem to be getting their income elsewhere.

      Delete
    14. Well I read somewhere that Jessa and Ben were transferred/bought the house for a small amount a money. Joe and kendra are the only ones that live on their parents property in the cabin. But I think joe and Jim Bob have a plan to pay it off. All the rest rent or own individually from the parents. All the boys+ ben work in the family business possibly with sub businesses. I think they still see it as self sufficient.

      Delete
    15. Honestly, I think he does it to keep his kids close, especially the girls. He seems to have a very different reaction when his sons get married and are leaving than when it's his daughters.

      Delete
    16. They make their own choices now that they are married. Guess they like where they are

      Delete
    17. The house Jessa and Ben live in is owned by Jim Bob's mom. Josh and Anna previously lived there before they moved to DC.

      Delete
    18. Well none of the duggar kids or in-laws except for Jeremy and Abbie have college degrees so I am not surprised that the rest of their adult married kids need their daddy to pay for their housing arrangements. Also, they marry so young, young people don’t usually have a lot of money, people accumulate money through work over the years.

      Delete
    19. I think when Jim Bob said that he'd buy or build everyone a house on their 20 acre property, creating his own Dugger suburban development, he'd wanted to keep everyone close because they were young. Probably since 2015 they've had to take the new in laws into consideration too.

      Delete
    20. 8:55, Derek has a degree from Oklahoma State (and is working on another one?) but you're right that most of the Dugger kids and their spouses don't have college degrees.

  23. Jinger has sure become a great wife, mother and woman. I found her so annoying during her courtship with Jeremy. She acted like a middle-school girl on her first crush, but, boy, this lady has sure matured and come into her own. I admire her in a lot of ways.

    1. Debbie I agree, especially with the "Babe, babe, baaabe." All the Duggar girls needed to do a lot of growing and maturing when they entered marriage in different ways. They have all done so. Surprisingly, one of the youngest Duggar in-laws, the newest, Lauren, in some ways seems to act the most mature, from what we have seen. Her "first look" clip was one of the most memorable. It is interesting that in her vows she used the affectionate term "honey" rather than "babe." She seems sweet and very steady.
