Birthday Wishes for Israel

Little Israel is on the mission field in Central America for his second birthday, so his family back home in Arkansas is sharing their well wishes via YouTube. Hear from Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar (Israel's grandparents) and Ben and Spurgeon Seewald (Israel's uncle and cousin) in the videos below. What do you think of Spurgeon's shirt?

    1. Because they are trying to stay out of the public-eye as much as possible but it doesn't stop a few pictures and life-updates.

    2. My guess is they are being summoned for depositions in the Josh lawsuit. Probably not saying anything about Josh or Anna until the case is settled.

    3. Omg that's true. I would like to hear more info about her pregnancy and her kids as well

    4. I'm reading to much about Michelle and JB opinion about Anna and over half seems true. I do hope none of it is after everything she went through.

  4. Yeah...except they do this for people who live at the Duggar homestead.

    1. What do two capital T's with a line mean?

    2. This comment is getting a little tiresome. We see it Every Time they post a congratulation video. Maybe it's time to accept that it's just what the Duggars do, scroll past it if we don't want to watch it, and get on with life.

    3. Maybe it's time you follow your own advice Every Time someone posts this. You know, take your own advice.

  5. I admire the Duggars for wishing Izzy a happy birthday while he's on the Mission Field.
As for Spurgeon's shirt, I think it really captures the feel of his personality. Like his uncle Joe, he's also quite the mellow-fellow. It also helps that he has to thank his mom for his adorableness.

    1. I'm sure they gave them their congrats but if they we're to publicly congrats both Josh and Anna, online trolls will throw a fit.

    2. They are not allowed to say anything about Josh & Anna . I heard that Anna lost the baby.

The Duggars are trying to stay away from Josh and Anna for awhile.

  12. Which Uncle Joe? Uncle Joseph or Uncle Josiah? Of course Isreal has 2 Aunt Jo's too. Aunt JoHannah and Aunt Josie. To many children when you name 4 of your children "Joe/Jo".

    1. I was referring to Joseph. Josiah's nickname is 'Siah.

      Delete
    2. Joe is Joseph's nickname. Siah is Josiah's, Hannie is Johannah's, and I don't believe they call Josie anything but Josie.

    3. Well you know, there are only so many J names to go with when you have some cute naming gimmick going. You're bound to start repeating.

    4. So which ones do you think they shouldn't have had? Rather a rude comment.

      Delete
    5. No one said they shouldn't have had them. Talk about an extreme, far reaching piece of malarchy.

    6. I love that they have a "J" name going on... People forget something... This is their lives... Their choices...

  13. Happy birthday Isreal, may your day be blessed😇...Although
I like the Peoples excerpt of JB and Michelle congrats, what I found a little odd is them teaching him to kill bugs for fun...shouldn't we love, respect and care for all of Gods creatures...EXCEPT if they are biting you to defend yourself AND or carry diseases, but to actively seek out bugs minding their own, just to kill (violent act)seems unessesary, not all bugs harm and some are important to our eco system...lol, I can hear the rebuttals to this post already. Before you call me a troll or Duggar fan extremist...I am down the middle kinda gal not an extremist for EITHER side...Proud to be a registered Independent. Blessings and Godspeed

  14. Doesn't anyone realize that under the circumstances of Josh and Anna's relationship and the fragile public image that they hold in many eyes, it's better judgment for Jim Bob and Michelle to keep their congratulations/opinions for Anna and Josh private? It makes better sense and PUBLIC RELATIONS for them to do so. Perhaps they were advised by their PR department, they have one, for sure, as this is their business. Can't taint their brand anymore than it's been, or they'll be out of business. They should follow good advice from the professionals...perhaps they have.

    1. Israel is the child of Jill and Derick. What is the reason for this comment here?

      Delete
    2. Glad your comments were shared and I don't believe most readers get it here.
It's not a reflection of Michelle or JB.
I would however like some clarification of their current comments of Anna.
I just can't buy they would throw her under the bus.

  16. What is behind the Duggars in the first video? A bolt on the door? With the 10 Commandments on it? That looks like an interior door. Why does an interior house door need a BOLT??

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. We out a bolt on the door down to our basement when our daughters were little to prevent them accidentally tumbling down the stairs.

      Delete
    2. That is just weird. And a reminder of how people must pop in on each other in that house when they're not supposed to. A door knob lock is not enough? They need an entire bolt?

      Delete
    3. It may be the slide lock for their bedroom or a slide lock that leads to the outside.

      Delete
    4. I wouldn't be surprised if that was a door to a room they don't want little kids getting into. We put one of those on our bathroom door when our kids were little so they wouldn't go in there and wreak havoc!

      Delete
    5. Look at the hinges - that's a bolt on the inside of the room. So you'd have to be in the room to use the bolt. It's there to keep someone out (when you're in the room). And I agree, what's wrong with using a locking door knob? A bolt is kind of extreme. A bolt with the Ten Commandments on it, even odder!

  17. Has Anna chosen to share which month their 5th baby is due??
"later this year" could mean anywhere from tomorrow to December 31st.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Not really 9:52. You need to be between 16-20 weeks along to know the gender of the baby. So with that she really would be due from tomorrow to August.

    2. haha. your right.

  18. Too bad a two year old couldn't understand a word that his grandparents were saying. Did they not remember they are talking to someone who's only now turning two???

    1. Two year olds understand a lot actually.

    2. I too thought that was a rather mature message for Izzy. Especially the part about the mission. Makes you realize who the message really was for, and why.

  19. Awww! How sweet! Happy be-lated birthday Izzy! It goes by so fast. Enjoy them when they're young. My lil guy is going to be 4.

  20. That's probably they're bedroom door. They probably need a bolt with that many kids.

  21. A comment was posted previously on this heading asking about why they have continued to be quiet about Josh and Anna's news. This was in response to that comment.

  22. There's a hook on that door, which indicates they're in the room and the lock is locked from within keeping others out. It's their bedroom door and they're in their bedroom.
