Jinger and Jeremy on Cover of Us Weekly

Jinger Duggar and fiancé Jeremy Vuolo are front and center on this week's cover of Us Weekly. The newly engaged couple opens up about their seven-month courtship and New York City engagement. (Jeremy popped the question with a .75-carat ring on July 25th, and he and Jinger made the announcement public the next day.)

Jinger and Jeremy told Us Weekly that their marriage ceremony will be much smaller than past Duggar weddings. “We’re trying to keep it intimate, between family and friends," said Jeremy. “We want to be very intentional with who we invite.” The two lovebirds have not yet set a date. (Stay tuned.)

After the wedding, the sixth oldest child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar will move more than 700 miles to Laredo, Texas, where Jeremy pastors a small baptist church. As far as children go, Jinger and Jeremy admit that they haven't discussed family size, but as expected, they both love children.

  1. It is very telling that the Duggars sell their stories to the magazines that they, and some readers, complain are unfairly critical of them. $$$$

  3. So happy for you Jinger and Jeremy. We don't get that magazine in Australia and as I have stated MANY times, your selection has made it so no fans can see tv or any videos.... PLEASE change it

  4. It perplexes me that people get engaged without discussing something as basic as family size. It is unwise to assume you'll be on the same page about things like children, finances, etc. without discussing it first.

  5. They haven't discussed familY size?? What if one wants just a couple of children and one wants a lot?

    2. Yeah, but the point is how can you marry someone without discussing how many children you both want? :O

    3. Maybe they have discussed it, but not everything has to be disclosed. Maybe that is being saved for the show. I'm sure that they have agreed on a how many children they would like to have. However many the Lord wants them to have.

  6. I love that they're not going to be having a super wedding. I also love that they will be making their permanent home away from the rest of the family and really starting their own life. I'm a little surprised that they haven't talked about how many kids they want. That's really a conversation that should be had before engagement. It's especially surprising considering what a hot topic it is in Jinger's family!

    2. People who willingly put themselves in the public eye, selling their stories to media, subject themselves to criticism. Comes with the territory.

    3. This family is all about standards, so that is why some of express concern about this young couple aligning themselves with a worldly, trashy tabloid.

    4. They get it from both sides, because, if you've followed them from day one, you'd know what they have always said of their convictions. They are now doing so many opposites from what they've said they don't do. -Kate

  10. I don't like how the media is reporting Jessa introduction to her sisters fiance was about ratings for the show. I also don't like reading the girls plan a pack to have babies at the same time for the same reason.
The girls are close and as most large close families want the best for each other.
It would be nice if the reader understood to avoid buying such rag's.
Thanks ladies for keeping your readers honest.

  11. They haven't discussed family size? What else haven't they discussed? I'm sure there are many topics that have never been touched between these two. Jinger and Jeremy are marrying strangers.

    1. It does tend to happen in most "courtships" that only last a few months.

  12. It looks like he is twirling his daughter instead of his finance. Jeremy looks so much older and mature than Jinger :-(

  13. In the video above - did they make a mistake with 'interrogated'? Shouldn't it have been intimidated? I watched it like 3 times and it sounds funny the way it is.. oh well...
