  1. I don't see Jill in a puffy ball gown, but in a more fitted dress that is simple with cap sleeves or elbow length sleeves. Maybe a lace dress to honor Michelle's first wedding gown. I'm sure whatever she chooses she will be a beautiful bride! Can't wait!

  11. I think Jill's dress should be a drop waist and short sleeve or mermaid with a sweetheart neck line but not to modest but not to low cut in the middle eather way she's soooo pretty!!!!!!!
    thanks

  12. somthing that flatters her figure with modesty and short sleeves. Will the wedding be broadcast in a few weeks?

  13. I think it's Jenny!
Jill's I think will be simple, yet extremely elegant. I can see more a of a straight and then flare with touches of bling and of course a modest neckline.... Just hope it doesn't look dated...!!!

  14. the one they show on the facebook page would be nice. the big question is who is paying for the wedding dress? will she go to Kleinflieds in new york and pick out a wedding dress like her Mom. if she does do not bring Jim Bod and the small kids.

  16. Jill will be a beautiful bride. All brides are beautiful. I am so happy this family is loosening up. Josh clearly realizes living in DC outside Arkansas is quite a different experience than how he grew up. However, Josh seems to think this is okay because he hasn't turned around and moved back to Arkansas. We can only protect our children so far. It is a huge world out there; much bigger than the Duggar dining room table and bus trips allow those children to see.

  20. I love Michelle's first wedding dress!!! Modest and stunning :)
I think Jill will look good in a A line, with some lace, somehow similar to Michelle's... she's lucky if she likes it, lace is the trend now, she will find the perfect gown! :) If it wasn't clear, I absolutely love lace lol :) I think it's stunning, classy and gives that vintage look that's always good!

  23. Would like to see her in something young and not anything so old and mature. She is so cute and has a cute figure. Please consider Derek and think of something that he cannot not take his eyes off you.
You can still be a bride and still be modest. Let your sisters help, they are young and know fashion.

  24. I think Jill will wear a very MODEST dress with sleeves like on Michelle's 25th wedding anniversary. Maybe a combonation of Michelle's (25th anniversary and her wedding dress on her wedding day) and Anna's. I think she will be beautiful in anything she choose and I know it will be Modest and Beautiful!!! The little Duggar is Jenny. Does anyone know who is in the Wedding party?

  26. I am certain Jill has chosen the perfect gown and that she will be a lovely bride, and a modest bride!

Marriage is a serious step, that we should enter into with reverence. I love to see a bride dressed in a manner that honors God, and is appropriate for church and the gives the bride an air of dignity. It is not about looking "hot", which is sadly lost on many brides, because there is so much emphasis on placed on looking sexy, rather than modest and pure or racy rather than reverent. To each her own, but it sure is refreshing to see lovely modest brides in photos like Michelle, Anna, Priscilla, and Erin and soon Jill. All the best!

  28. I also see Jill in more of a fitted dress and not a ball gown, a long veil with sparkle and tiny white flowers like babys breath for a headpiece. In an attempt to make dresses look modest I don't like that tee shirt style sleeves/top of Anna'a & Michelle's second dress . There are lots of things you can do to change a strapless or low cut dress. I also didn't think the white princess gown was a good choice for Michelle's vow renewal, it looked like a style for back when she was 18. Crisp ivory (not antique ivory) or a very subtle, soft color would have been more appropriate IMO.

  30. Little one= Jenny
But I don't know... For some reason I'm getting this vibe she'll wear one fitted with a sweetheart neckline and not cover it up. Idk, but she would definitely look gorgeous in it!!!

  31. I think Jill will select a very pretty, tasteful, current style gown that will nicely show HER style.

  33. No matter what dress she chooses, it will be wonderful. As long as they love each other it will be tremendous

  34. I think. Her dress will be similar. To Alyssa bates Webster. Dress

  35. Fitted on top but covering back and slightly poofy on bottom. Nothing plunging. Train of some sort. Unless the bottom is ballerina style to the floor.

I think she would look great in a sheath style. She is young enough to pull it off.

  43. I think Jill's wedding dress should have lace at the top with a chiffon skirt and the veil should be trimmed in lace.

  44. Jill had an amazing dress, she and Derek are a wonderful couple and I think they are such a good example of love and what a miracle there love story is. And that engagement song was perfect. I look forward to how God will use this couple who are both so willing to serve God.
    Blessings to the entire family.
