Airport Security with 3 Grand-Duggars

During a recent reunion at Josh and Anna Duggar's home in Washington D.C., sisters Anna (Keller) Duggar and Priscilla (Keller) Waller chat about the challenges and blessings of motherhood. They also spend time touring the United States capital. Two YouTube videos are embedded below:

  2. Sometimes it is hard to tell what is being said because it sounds like it is dragging

  3. Why does Priscilla talk like that?

  4. Reading earlier comments from previous posts, I think the show has lost its sparkle. The peak of its existence was when Josie was born. And it seemed to spike a little for a moment when jubilee was lost and they went overseas. But now it's mostly political or TLC trying to find something that might draw a small number of viewers in. There seems to be more mention of 'standards and values' than their faith. Hair spray and make up abound. They seem to spend more time off the show rather than on. And when they do make a show it has become boring and uneventful. Viewers were shocked and surprised at Jimbobs selfish behaviour during Josh's move to DC. And I was shocked at the amount of junk he was hoarding in their warehouse. It's like the show is now an afterthought for them. Time to let it go and let their kids grow up in peace and quiet. I like the show. But struggling to want to keep watching if this is the type of quality we are going to get.
On the other hand, I have warmed to the Bates family. It's a shame that their show ended and that you. Can't even buy it now on DVD. They seem to have a better perspective than the Duggars and more of a ministry mindset.
I'm not a Duggar 'hater' as many people may label me, I share many of the same convictions. But I think they have gotten to caught up in tv world.

    1. I like the show is great. I think you have to have a large family and love god to fully appreciate it. Large families have a lot of stuff, its the way it is

    2. Honey, im on my 8th pregnancy and have been a believer for 22 years. My father was a horder. thankfully, none of his children are. ive gone thru every iblp seminar the Duggars have. i still think the amount they have is excessive. in the episode where anna and michelle were both expecting and went shopping for baby furniture and other items in fort smith, Michelle can be overheard on camera telling a sales person she wanted two baby bouncers, one for upstairs, one for downstairs. are you kidding me? its not hard to move a baby bouncer around the house. to me doing things like that is excessive.

  5. Darlings....each show connects me once again with folks who have become like family. The LORD has blessed you in the little things and it remains my smiling pleasure to watch how a Christian family makes life work. What refreshment to see GODLY attitudes and how that is woven into Christian character. Michelle and Jim Bob....you do a wonderful job of parenting as is seen by the devotion and well being of all of your children. Stay encouraged in the LORD and thank you for being His beautiful light in a world of darkness.

  6. i totally agree with the last poster this show is boring and the family is very selfish and seem only to care about what the parent want not what the kids want. and they are never home always running around the country some where and none of them hold jobs accept josh. Anna has become just sounding like Michelle. What about having some kind of minstry for young mothers instead of always talking about having more kids. helping those in need and preaching the gospel.

  7. I did not notice anything strange about the way Priscilla talks. Everyone is unique. Rejoice in that.

  8. I ONLY LISTENED TO ABOUT HALF THE FIRST VIDEO. ANNA IS RAMBLING ON AND ON. SHE SOUNDS VERY FAKE. THE PART I LISTENED TO HER SISTER NEVER SAID A WORD JUST SHOOK HER HEAD AND SMILED ALOT. THIS ALMOST SEEMED TO STAGED.

  9. Yea, that first video definitely seemed staged and scripted.

  10. @Anonymous

The episodes around Josh and Anna are super boring. I think the highlight of each show is watching the older girls take their next steps in life. I actually don't share the Duggar's religion or politics at all, but what makes this show engaging is the expert parenting they have developed over the years and the developmental progress of their kids. If TLC wants to create compelling television, let's see more of the older girls as they develop career aspirations, find love, and navigate the move from childhood to adulthood. Would like to see the same of the two older boys, who don't get much airtime either.
