  1. Derick, cut your hair. This is not 1968. And that is not a good look on you. Are you trying to rival Jill?

    1. Or maybe he just likes it this way? What's wrong with it?

    2. For the life of me, I cannot understand why folks feel it necessary to pick apart the appearance of others. Unless, of course, your mug is picture perfect. How he wears his hair is a very petty detail on which to focus.

      Delete
    3. Jill thinks he looks hot! Her opinion is the ONLY one that matters.

      Delete
    4. Well, in the military Derick's long hair would not be acceptable.

      Delete
    5. When he and Jill first courted, he looked very nice and attractive. It appears as though he has let his appearance go since he got married. People can't help but notice and comment.

      Delete
    6. Derrick should have his hair as he wants,,,this is everyone's right. If anyone doesn't like it,,,don't follow the Duggars; they don't need negative comments.

      Delete
    7. I think he looks much better with the long hair.

      Delete
    8. His hair doesn't bother me. I think it's cool that he does his own thing.

      Delete
    9. I'm really surprised that Derick wears his hair long. Because the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 11:14-15, "Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him, but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering."

      Delete
    10. I think the issue is how much the duggars have said its not good for men to have long hair. I know he is not a duggar but I am pretty certain had derrick had his hair that way when he was single, he wouldnt have been allowed to court Jill.

    11. Agreed...those who criticize are unhappy with themselves and their looks...its a sad sad state to be in...pity those who feel that way.

      Delete
    12. Just because someone disagrees does not mean they are "unhappy". That's quite a jump in logic, don't you think?

      Delete
    13. Regarding anonymous 11:31. Good thing he's not in the military! Why do you feel the need to judge?

      Delete
    14. Derick is not a Duggar. He can do his own thing, and the length of anyone's hair is NOT a salvation issue.

      Delete
    15. Terese Z. A woman's hair is her "covering"? This isn't the Dark Ages. There's no shame in a woman having short hair or a man having long hair. I don't think God is concerned with such pettiness.

  2. Since Jill and Derick said they were going to be long term missionaries out of the USA, why are they adjusting to life in Arkansas? Don't they have to return to the mission field soon? They always knew they were going to have a child very often, so how did they think this was going to fit with being away from the USA?

    1. They don't want JI'll to contract Zika during her pregnancy, which can be very harmful to the baby.

    2. They will probably wait until after the baby is born. They said a pregnancy could delay their return to central America.

    1. So what? She looks great.

    2. Good for Jinger. Looks great.

      Delete
    3. Since Jinger is now married she doesn't need to follow her parents dress code. If she feels comfortable in the dress, she should wear it. My fingers are crossed that she will be the first Duggar girl to rock pants like Alyssa and Whitney Bates.

  4. Wow, I see a lot of cooler and more modern looks!

  5. I hope there more new material this season, last season was a lot of "looking back". I'm a fan...I saw it the first time and on re-runs, I don't need to look back.

  6. Did Jessa say twins? They are always saying that. Why? Looking for attention?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No it's not attention. It's just the joy of being pregnant. Sounds like she would like to have twins which be exciting for them. I hope she has a girl this time but I'm happy for whatever they have. This was taped some time ago before we knew it was just the one.

  7. Is Jessa actually getting prenatal care from a professional or is she just getting an expensive 3-D ultrasound?

  8. Surprisingly, seeing this promo "hurts" more than the Premiere of Counting On. #StillLoveJAD.

    1. Aw, hope your heart heals soon so that you can move on.

      Delete
    2. Is JAD referring to Josh? or Josh and Anna? Why the code?

      Delete
    3. SuperJames, you need help. Please seek professional psychological counseling. It's not normal to be this attached to a TV personality.

      Delete
    4. What do you mean? Who is JAD?

      Delete
    5. Anon. 7:58; thanks. I tried to get over when it was first announced. I hope I have the courage to watch the Show without tearing up too much.
Anon. 10:12/4:15; it's easier to write JAD than J-A D.
Anon. 1:12; after what I've been through, I thank God for allowing the Duggar to be a part of my life. And he wouldn't have brought them into my life without a Reason.

    6. The show is on TV and online. Anyone with cable or internet can watch it. I don't think that's God's doing. If so, how do you explain all the other trash on TV, and on TLC? God wanted us to have that, too? Eeek.

      Delete
    7. SuperJames, your reasoning is off. I need to lose weight, but I don't go around saying God has brought chocolate cake into my life just because I am craving something I can't have . Please seek help.

      Delete
    8. Honestly, Anon. 7:47; I see your reasoning more off than mine. If I needed to lose weight, I'd compare the Duggars to either a health-bar or an energy drink. #VeryRespectfulComment.
I'm trying my hardest, and thank God today that I did get some advice.

    9. I'm praying for you James :) I don't know what you've been through or what you may be going through now. But God does and I know He can help. He is The Great Physician. Never lose faith. He is right there. A verse that has really spoke to me this week is Isaiah 43:1 "But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by name; thou art Mine." He knows you by name and if you have ever called on Him and trustedain Him as your only way to Heaven and as your personal Lord and Savior you are His ! :) Wonderful, sweet truth !! He loves you James !!!

      Delete
    10. So does SuperJames have a crush on Joy-Anna? That's creepy and totally inappropriate.

      Delete
    11. Can you explain why you think that? Just to clarify, I didn't develop a crush on her just as Season approaches, it started way back in 2013 when I "met" them for the first time.

    12. SuperJames: GET HELP.

      Delete
    13. Anon. 2:59; I've tried, but so far I can't seem to get my life back on track!

    14. May I ask if you regularly read your Bible ? God's Word is there to guide us and can be a huge help if we let it. Psalm 119:105 "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

      Delete
    15. Sadly, I don't have a good habit when it comes to reading my Bible. It also doesn't help that I've been criticized for "reading it incorrectly".

      Delete
    16. Yes that wouldn't help. That is sad that someone would criticize you about it. I don't believe there is a "correct" way to read it. God just wants us to read it. And it really does help. I have struggled in "getting into the habit" of reading my Bible and I have found sometimes it helps to pick a word and just read and write down every verse in the Bible that has that word in it. Like love or joy or hope or something like that. Has there ever been a time in your life that you have asked Jesus into your heart as your personal Lord and Saviour?

  9. why does Jessa keep saying she is having twins when she is pregnant with each of her kids? stop leading people believe something that is not true. just because your mom had twins does not mean you will have twins.

    1. I agree, jessa has released sereral ultrasounds showing one baby and each time someone's pregnant they do the whole twins storyline. Its getting old. And the heart rate thing Jill was talking about doing ness mean twins, all babies have really fast heart rates esp when moving about etc. I'm a nurse..

      Delete
    2. After all, Jessa keeps repeating the same things all the time.
Think about all the times they said they "have a heart for adoption". They just keep repeating the same catch phrases and topics.

      Delete
    3. They say twins skip a generation -- not sure if that's true. But agreed the whole "could be twins" talk seems it's to drum up ratings.

      Delete
    4. i know 2 sets of twin sisters neither of mothers knew were carrying twins til after been born. dont beleive these high tech ultrasounds will show a 2nd baby just the 1 depening who,s hiding whom inside the mother. it could be jessa is carrying twins she,s just carrying different her pregnancy seems smaller then her 1st. this time around she shouldnt attemp a homebirth again which could of costed her life be safer an hospital birth w/ possible twins

My mom was a twin and my sister didn't have twins at all.

  14. Thought the same thing. Will these "new" shows be rerun shows like last year? They had little new parts then lots of rerun footage. And they always ask the same silly questions. Ask something new.

    1. Agreed...they always wants us to believe the possibility of twins...as to make us watch,Like us fans will watch anyways, they don't need to do that alwayas...and she doesn't look bigger this time around, she is relatively the same size at the samebstage, by the look of her posts.

  15. Anyone know when it'll be up on Amazon? It would be nice to be able to pre-order the season to watch as it comes out.

  16. Hi. We are excited to see the Duggars again, but we looked on our TV Guide, and on the TLC website and both say that the show is not scheduled. At that time and day, it's supposed to be "Outdaughtered". Is there some kind of mistake? Are we looking in the wrong places?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I thought the same thing, but if you look on the website it says that outdaughter is running from 8 to 10 but in its description it says its only a sixty minute episode not a two hour one so that means there's and hour episode between 9 and 10 which is the time they say the duggars will be on. I don't know why it's not the scheduled yet. At first I thought they just messed up or something but because it's not on my tv provider and its less then two weeks away I think they're just holding off on showing it until like a week out. They did something similar last season the show was still listed but they didn't give a description of what that episode was about.

  17. I can't wait for the new season to start, so excited to see what Jinger and Jeremy have been up to since getting married. Jinger looks amazing, so modern and up to date, marriage agrees with her. She always was a free spirit, so now she can live life her way. Jeremy and Jinger are my fav couple, they have a real love between them, unlike the other couples,it shows watching them together. Jessa is only having one baby, it has been confirmed on social media.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I think Jessa and Ben should refrain from say or hinting they are having twins even when they are pregnant with twins. At this point they've cried wolf too many times. I need to see it to believe it. So no more mention of twins from this family until they actually drop twins! That goes for all of them. Surprise us please!

  22. Why can't I find it on the PST TCL line up?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ifor one am a big fan of the show. I've watched it for years and I love every second of it. For all the people complaining and bashing them..guess what? You can change the channel and not watch. Those of us who choose to watch it will continue to do so. I get so tired of reading all the gossip and bashing, you wouldn't know what is going on if you weren't watching it,so if you don't like them or their show, why do you watch? Shut up...let the rest of us enjoy it. Nobody is forcing you to watch..so like I said, change the channel. It's that simple.

  24. The above shot of the group is stunning. Up to date and polished- way to go! Yes. a person can be stylish and still believe in God.

  25. I am so happy those that give negative comments have "perfect" families. Duggars have never "claimed" to be perfect, they are living "forgiven" as God forgives all. As each child marries and begins their life, they make decisions for themselves. They have a foundation they learned while living at home but now doing things on their own. So what if someones has long hair, someone as a short skirt on, some female may began wearing pants. That just means they are living "their" life, not their parents "life". Isn't that what every one wanted to see? Can these "grown" children make their own standards of living?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yes, many people wish to see the married ones live their own lives with their own rules. If their rules have indeed changed, they really should make it clear to the viewing public what has changed for them. It would keep things clear and we would know what to expect from them. Their silence about these things and some other things also that are asked of them isn't helping them much.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I agree, since the fame of the Duggar family was initially founded on their strict code of behavior, dress, etc.

      Delete
    2. The parents haven't changed their standards. Michelle still dresses like she dressed years ago. The adult children get to make their own decisions, and they don't answer to us. Why do you need them to come out and say something? If they are dressing different, they are obviously buying their own clothes, so do they really have to say something? Almost all children are a little less strict than their parents. That is perfectly natural. They aren't going to try to make their parents look bad by coming out and saying they didn't agree with certain standards. They are just making their own decisions and standards which we can see just by looking at them.

  27. I love the Duggars. Their show is my favorite. I have two comments, both of which I mean respectfully. Michelle Duggar needs to change her hairstyle. I love her but her hairstyle is no longer becoming. She either needs to wear her long hair up or she needs to cut it short.

The next comment regards food. The Duggars are very kind people. I would like to see them eat some vegan meals. Then animals won't suffer. Two websites that have vegan recipes are One Green Planet Monster Recipes (I know it's a funny name) and Minimalist Baker - in spite of the name is not mostly baking.

    1. I think Michelle chooses to keep her hair that way because she and/or her husband like(s) it that way. She doesn't "need" to change it. That's her personal choice.

      Delete
    2. Agree about Michelle's hairstyle. I'm surprised her daughters haven't spoken up and persuaded her to change it. Most of rely on our daughters to help us stay current.

  28. Janet Wunder, you eat the vegetables and let that growing family eat some meat! Perhaps we would all like to see Michelle involved in meal preparation and seeing the little kids with dark circles under their eyes get sleep appropriate with their age and some good fruits and vegetables into them.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The dark circles could be from food allergies, not lack of sleep. I've noticed that some of them always sound congested (including Ben) - that could be food allergies too (dairy, maybe?).
