Video: Jinger Says Yes

"As we're walking up the stairs, about to go out onto the roof, my heart started beating faster and faster."

-Jeremy Vuolo

Did you miss last night's episode? Or maybe you just want to relive the romantic moments leading up to Jinger Duggar's New York City engagement. Either way, be sure to take a look at our written recap, and check out the video clip below.

On the day of the proposal, Jeremy attempts to divert any potential suspicion that Jinger might be feeling by nonchalantly asking if she wants his photographer friend to take a few pictures of them on a rooftop at sunset. Jinger happily agrees, but as rain starts to fall later that afternoon, Jeremy wonders if his carefully hatched plan will work.

As you'll see in the video, the rain stops just in time, and Jinger is completely shocked when her boyfriend drops down on one knee and pulls out a ring.

  1. Hard to believe she didn't know what was going on.Especially since that is what "courting is supposed to be about" and the fact they are making a TV show. I am thrilled for Jinger, and wish her all the best.

    1. I believe she had to know something. Her nails were done in the French manicure. :-)

    2. My impression was that she knew a proposal would come sometime, but not that night. I think it may have been sooner than she anticipated...Such a sweet episode. I'm glad I watched it vs. just a recap (which is what I typically do). I'm happy for them.

    3. I think she knew it was coming soon but I think what through her off was that Jimbob wasn't there. For whatever my guess is she would of thought he'd of been there if the proposal was about to go down.

    4. The manicure is not a giveaway that she was expecting anything. The Duggar women are forever getting mani/pedis. Buy used, and save the difference for Starbucks, excessive air travel, weekly mani/pedis, and lots and lots of time away from work.

    5. So sad that envy gets in the way, and blinds some people. I'm glad for Jinger and Jeremy, and so happy they are sharing this time in their lives with others.

  3. I know it may seem pathetic but I watched that episode at least 3 times already! I'm so happy for Jinger, she'd seem so sweet. It's good that she is having this moment in life😄

  4. Beautuful proposal. I love watching this couple so much. The only thing I thought they would be married by now. The other 3 married 3 months after engagement. I sure hope we get to watch the wedding and soon after. Please TLC keep counting on tv please

  5. Congratulations to Jinger and Jeremy. I sure do wish Michelle would talk. I don't understand why she is being so quiet. Is she not allowed to talk on this show?

  6. It used to be that people who had speaking roles were paid more money in Hollywood. This is just a guess but maybe tlc has small roles for jimbob and Michelle for a reason. For example they may have been advised to keep a low profile since all of the scandals. It would be a way to keep the public happy and the show on tv. Just a guess here but it makes sense.

  7. Have they released the wedding date yet? I would imagine it will be very soon.

  8. Obviously, from the marks on the floor put there by the production staff, this was a re-enactment of the proposal. Look on the floor by their feet and you'll see the taped "J & V" on the ground of the rooftop. So, when was Jill REALLY proposed to? I'm tired of this fake TV show, being sold off as " real". Folks, you're not privy to anything but re-enactments. This is NO their real, authentic life.

  9. I don't get it. The tape Xs on the roof are clearly their marks that they walk to and stand at. What did Jinger think they were marking for? Just a run of the mill scene? Is this how all Duggar episodes are shot, with scripts and marks? Plain weird to ask the audience to take this as a reality show and a surprise for Jinger while also showing us television show marks.
