Share Your Favorite Duggar Moments

In mid November, we will be taking a one-week blogging break (although we will hopefully be able to pop in a couple times to share a Duggar update.)

Just as we did when I (Ellie) took my honeymoon, we're asking our loyal readers to contribute content. This time, we want to hear about your favorite Duggar moment(s) from the past 12 years of reality TV. (Can you believe it's been 12 years?)

Any scenes from the original five specials, 17 Kids and Counting, 18 Kids and Counting, 19 Kids and Counting, and Counting On are fair game. Email your responses to us at DuggarFamilyBlog@gmail.com, and you might just see them on the blog! We will not share any personal information other than your first name. If you want to be referred to by a pen, let us know in your email.

  1. Hmmmm...off to Texas to a wedding then, by any chance?? Although speculation is that it's happening/happened already...

    1. Enough about the wedding already! I cannot believe that people care so much about a wedding for two people they don't even know!

    2. You know that this blog isn't written by the Duggars, right? It's written by Lily and Ellie, a mother and daughter who are fans of the Duggar. So even if there was hinger's wedding, it wouldn't have anything to do with the blog.

    6. They aren't just fans, they are friends of the Duggars and have been to the other weddings.

    7. Lily and Ellie are not just fans of the Duggars, they are FRIENDS, too. Haven't you seen the pic of Ellie standing in the Duggar kitchen? So it would not be a shock if Ellie and Mr. Handsome were off to a wedding in Arkansas very soon.

    8. Speculation like this is exactly why Jinger and Jeremy chose to keep their wedding date private!

    9. Oops... I think I erased my comment, so if I repeat again I apologize. First,to Anonymous 10:17am, Loads of us fans DO CARE for this kind, sweet, caring, humble and charitable family, as we have been with them from day one. We have cried with them, laughed with them and prayed with them thru the years.I'm sure you have someone other than your family that you care about, thats perfectly normal. Second, to Anonymous 12:04pm, Please do your homework before postings falsehoods...Lily and Ellie have become friends with the Duggars, they are NOT just fans. You seem to have loads of time invested in everything Duggar,so fact checking shouldn't be a problem. Remember folks..."Happy don't hate" and the "Content don't criticize" Have a Duggar lovin day, week, month, and year y'all🤗Blessings to you and your and Godspeed everyone🕇🕆

    10. Anonymous at 12.48: you're the one who actually seems too invested in the Duggars matters, if yiu jump up this vehemently to accuse others of falsehoods.

    11. Amen to Anonymous at 12:48. Wish more people followed your "happy don't hate" advice. If you don't have anything nice to say. . .

  4. Will miss you Ellie, but hope you enjoy yourself wherever you go. I love the Duggar family. I like it when the whole family was working together building their house. A family that works and prays together stay together.

    1. Then why are you posting on their fan page? There are plenty of supposed fan pages on Facebook where you can post disgusting, horrible things about the family and people pat you on the back. I suggest haters try there.
I check in here because most of us like the Duggar family. We've prayed for them, laughed and cried with them and want the best for them. Other sites allow filthy language. That's not a fan page in my opinion.

    2. Strange comment to be posting on a Duggar fan page. Why are you here?

    3. Anon@7:24 I think your response is an overreaction to a comment that was just an opinion, nothing filthy or hateful about it.

    4. I agree. If that poster does not like the Duggars he or she needs to find another site.

    5. We know why they are here, haters gonna hate...so sad ...to bad...blessings 😉

  7. I loved when Michele saw the surprise piano when they entered the house for the first time. The Duggers love of playing music comes from their mom and I think that is wonderful.

  10. My favorite moment might be a strange one to many but let me explain. My favorite moment is Grandpa Duggar's funeral. Like everyone in this big wonderful family Grandpa Duggar was such a great witness to me. At his funeral he had written a letter to be read and it was an encouragement to me as a Christian. He closed the letter by saying that with all the titles he had - Dad, Grandpa, Husband, etc... the most important was simply that he was a sinner saved by the grace of Jesus. That simple statement spoke volumes to me and I have never forgotten it. LOVE and MISS ALL the Duggars!

  14. I have lived seeing all the weddings ( yes even Josh and Anna's). Can't wait to see Jinger and Jeremy's wedding!

  15. One memory I like is when they painted cars out in the desert I think. It was on one of the specials when they went to California

  16. I loved seeing the births and the weddings of the Duggar children. I love seeing how Jim Bob and Michelle interact with their children and each other. I hope I continue to see that wonderful family in the years to come!

  17. I don't understand why people are so concerned as to why Jana hasn't gotten married as yet. She is still young and if she wants to continue living at home with her family...what is so wrong with that. She may be a lot older to marry or never get married. It doesn't mean that anything is wrong with her. It really shouldn't be anyone's concern. It just seems like people try to think of things just to pick at the Duggars. They are a nice Christian family. And..just a reminder to all that Christians also make mistakes as everyone else. I am a Christian and I make mistakes. Nobody is perfect. I loved their show 19 kids and counting. I personally would love to see it come back.

    1. It's because people love Jana and know that finding a loving mate would be wonderful for her, that's why. Not so mysterious.

  18. It's been a while but after the house was built they brought baby Jordan(I think I'm right) home. Michelle said that it had been a long time since they had a baby girl in the house. Jim Bob and Michelle stood over the crib with such a loving look on their faces that I was moved to tears.
That was one of my favorite moments. There's lots more and hopefully more to come.

  19. My favorite episodes were Jill's and Jessa's proposals and weddings. They were particularly special because I watched them with my granddaughters. Thank you Duggars and TLC for giving us something lovely to watch on television.
