  2. Please stop referring to the children as numbers. "Jill turns 25" sounds so much better!

  10. What a beautiful, fairhful, bright, determined woman Jill has grown up to become. I hope that she continues to serve others in a missionary capacity no matter how large her family becomes or where they are located because it seems to be a call from God especially for Jill. Her children will be blessed for having such a gifted mother who sets a strong example of living a life committed to serving as Christ served.

  11. I thought they celebrated Jill's birthday the last time they went down to CA. So many inconsistencies in the story.

    1. But her parents weren't there...and what's wrong with celebrating twice?? One was early (with her siblings) and one is now (with her parents). I don't see anything wrong with that.

    1. I think you are right , Jill must be dealing with some issues that family goes there every other month.

    2. What are you talking about? If Jill's parents miss her and can afford the airfare why shouldn't they visit as much as they want?

  20. Amazing to me that the Duggars travel down there as much as they do. So much for missionaries who make all kinds of sacrifice to serve. Odd.

    1. My guess is the patriarch has a plan of some kind. Maybe they are foreign landlords tending properties there. I wonder if they mind if the public who view their videos thinks like that? After awhile this is the conclusion I am coming to, it seems to be a likely answer to all these trips and enthusiastic interest in that region of the world. They don't seem to be completely unselfish, other centered people.

    2. If they miss their daughter and can afford it , then why not...good golly. At least they have two loving parents who are invested in their lives, some folks must be a little envious of that. What a shame. Blessings😁

    3. You are way off base there with the remark about envy.

    4. I agree. I still don't understand exactly what Jill and Derrick are even doing for the "mission work".

  27. Happy birthday to Jill and may you have many blessings this year. Question though to her parents - why not save plane fare and donate it to her mission organization?

    1. Stop critizing, family values are important. God said love each othet. Family ties make them go to see their daughter you don't understand that.

    2. I agree!!!!

    3. Oh I understand....you were reading criticism while I was truly just wondering. Dont judge or lecture about family ties .... I haven't seen my only child for a year - we dont have to funds to travel where here he is.

    4. Dont think the post was a criticism. More like just a curious question. You seemed overly hostile to the Poster--and most readers here agree family IS most important.

  34. I wish we had another update on the work they are doing down in Central America, so far updates have been vague and brief. Not helping the cause against those saying they are faking their mission work. Not saying I'm one of those people, but they are out there.
