'Duck Dynasty' Stars on Biblical Forgiveness

In the following YouTube video, Duck Dynasty stars Jase and Missy Robertson introduce their new book, Blessed, Blessed...Blessed, on Entertainment Tonight. The tagline of the couple's book is: "The Untold Story of Our Family's Fight to Love Hard, Stay Strong, and Keep the Faith When Life Can't Be Fixed."

Jase and Missy also discuss Biblical forgiveness in regards to a heartbreaking trial that Jase's brother Alan faced in his marriage. "I think forgiving and forgetting are two different things," says Missy. How does this relate to the Duggars? Watch the video below to find out.

Blessed, Blessed...Blessed is scheduled for release on October 6th and is available for pre-order on ChristanBook. (Click here for details.)

  1. It's very encouraging to think of things in the way that the Robinsons mentioned. I agree that this is between God, Josh & Anna... yes, Josh should face his consequences for his wrong doings but it's none of anyone else's business if Anna should stay or go. If she feels that God wants her to stay then He will give her the strength to stay.

    1. Yes, no one has any business saying anything to Anna about what she should do with her husband. MYOB and leave her alone!

  5. I couldn't have said it better myself. I believe that this truly IS what your supporters believe and feel. Not what happened was "ok/right" be forgiven. Blessings to both the Duggars and to the Duck Dynasty group. Lois, in Kansas.

  6. I love the Robertson family. They may act silly on their show as to be entertaining, but when it comes down to brass tacks, their words of wisdom always hit the mark.

  7. If there is no trust in marriage, then it's not really a marriage, you're just going through the motions.

    2. Trust may be lost but a valid marriage remains - for better or worse. Trust should be rebuilt through repentance, conversion, self-sacrifice, etc. God help them and their marriage.

  8. Very insightful! Definitely a Rhema Word (now word) from God. Each marriage has strengths and weaknesses, which only Anna and Josh can determine if those strengths within their marriage are enough to not only sustain but maintain their relationship God bless! And as always, Gods best!

  9. I do not believe that Anna will leave Josh, she is amazing woman to go through what she has been through. I don't think I could have stood by my husband if he had done what Josh did. She loves him and believes in her marriage. I pray she follows God and does what she feel is the right thing for her to do. She has four children with Josh, they have to be thought of. Those children need their mother and father. But Josh has a long way to go with recovery. He is sick, and needs help. He needs to turn to the Lord. It will be hard for Josh and Anna. And to have trust in their marriage. If she was going to leave Josh she would already be gone. She will stay in the marriage, this is what she was taught, she believes in her marriage vowels. I pray that she will have the strength to go forward in life. She is a very Strong Women, other women would have been gone a long time of go.

    1. You should not excuse what he has done, or imply that if she chooses to leave, she is not "strong". Honestly, I can only imagine how shattering it is for her to find out that almost everything about her husband was a lie.

  11. My prayers go out to Josh and Anna, their beautiful children and the Duggar family. The children are growing up and I miss seeing them grow up. We are missing so much. I feel that a lot of families have trials and this family shows us a Godly way to overcome what the devil tries to destroy. God Bless, Diana in Kansas
