  2. Jill and Jessa, I applaud your courage to speak out!! You are just like your Mom, strong and confident in your faith and bold to speak out. I pray that the Lord will also be with you in this "Lion's Den" and that you will continue to spread the love of Jesus Christ.

  3. these people are being attacked because they are Christians! This should have been sealed because everyone involved were minors at the time. That's politics for you. These people are God-fearing Christians. I will no longer watch TLC if they remove these wonderful people.

  6. The Duggar family is going through a lot at this time...I think there business should have stayed between them, it wasn't anyone's place to tell and they already forgave Josh I think God used this family as an example to show that you shouldn't dwell on someone's past, you should forgive and I'm sure this family takes all the rude comments at heart...it's not fair for all of these kids to go through hateful words because of there family's PAST. I also think this got out because this family lives off of the bible and they love God and I think some people were jealous or didn't like it but that shouldn't change anything about there love for God
    God bless the Duggar family

  7. I think your family should be given an explanation as to why all of this was made public. And I think all of you should be given an apology from all of the "so called" journalists and daytime talk show celebrities. Most of them tried to tell the girls they are scarred for life and should be angry at their parents. And that they should never have any kind of relationship with Josh. The past two weeks have been the worst television I have seen and I turned it off. Megan Kelly's interview with the girls was the best because she got it Right. No one is excusing anyone but it was a long time ago. He confessed, the authorities were told, all had counciling and forgiveness. And all moved on. If TLC brings your show back and people don't like it, they don't have to watch. But I will.

    1. Well said! People should mind their own business. They dealt with the issue the way they thought was right for their family and the others who were involved. The Duggars should be left alone.

  8. Yes; BUT you ARE on TV ! Not only your own "reality" show , but on many other news type shows. So, you really are a TV family.

  9. I agree with the majority of people here who support the Duggars. But I think that the anger a lot of people are feeling about the media is making them miss the fact that no one illegally released any police documents. I know we want to be angry with the police for what they're doing but they didn't do anything wrong in this case. The police report is dated December 2006. Josh was born in March 1988 making him 18 when the report was made. He was a legal adult so the report was never sealed. I'm mad that the report was made public because I don't think it's fair that the victims have to re-live this unfortunately situation but by calling it "illegal" or calling the document "sealed" makes us no better than the media for making up lies. Sorry but that's just me two cents.

    1. The law really ought to protect the privacy of the girls, through no fault of their own, were violated by this report. In general I fell the report should have remained private for everyone's sake. The girls for obvious reasons, for the parents sske, Anna has also been harmed, Josh's reputation damaged., his livelihood gone. If this were ongoing behavior the fine, but every indication is that his unhealthy behavior was part of the past and not part of his present or future. I don't think that juvenile crimes should be made public.

  10. Thank you for sharing your side. Thank you for also letting us know that you did have professional counseling. I think your parents made the right choice to have Josh pay for his own,so that it would mean that much more. You have my prayers and so does your entire family including Josh. We are all sinners, even though we are saved. No one is perfect. I hope your show comes back in some form, as I find it an inspiration, but I will continue to pray for your work you do for God.

  12. I've watched these girls grow up...they almost feel like family.

It's time to move on from this sad situation.

  13. PS. Megyn Kelly is right calling Jill and Jessa remarkable. Ya'll did an AMAZING job speaking to her, your parents are amazing too in the way they handled this and in raising your family. I loved it when Jessa said hey people may be stirring things up out there, but look on the bright side, we as a family are close and in harmony and love each other like crazy. That should shut the critics up right there. ;)
    God bless you all!

  15. I am so praying that your show comes back on. So much has been blown out of proportion. All of you are so strong and I admire each and everyone of you. I still love Josh and his family and he has paid for his mistakes. We all make them. God Bless all of you and you will stay in my prayers!

  17. I stand with the Duggar's! I want them to know that we're loyal fans who stand by them through all this. Sure Josh did bad things, but that was many years ago and he has long since changed his ways, thanks be to God! Why bring up past wrongs? Forgive and forget!

Also, our world see's good people doing good things, and they get jealous. They like picking on those who are doing right, mainly because they realize they might not be doing the right thing. All we can do is pray, pray, pray for those who misunderstand and bully this wonderful, wonderful family.

I'm praying for you all. And may God bless!

One last comment to add: Josh and Anna have inspired me for many years to remain pure and holy. I want to thank them for their lasting effect on me, even though they don't even know I exist. I'm a young women going onto 17, and watching their seasons on TLC that show their courtship journey has helped me mature my thinking on life.

    Thank you.

  18. I respect Josh and Anna's privacy, but I really would like to know how they're doing during this time. Are they moving back to Arkansas to have support from the rest of the family? I understand if they don't want to speak to the media, but it would be great for the fans on this blog. Can you let him know that we still love him and his family?

  19. God bless you all! I'll keep you in my prayers. When a citizen wants to keep a scandal sealed, they need to respect that. FOLLOW the law!

  20. How do we get them back on the air?

  21. I tried to post this on the liberal blogs but seems they won't let me. .....i know I'm preaching to the choir but here goes. B4 I was a Christian I had two abortions. If I was on a reality show this fact wouldn't even be newsworthy. Sad right?

  22. Though not a regular viewer of your show I've enjoyed hearing about your family over the years. Now a mommy of two young boys my husband and I struggle as we look out at a world and society that is SO sexually focused. Sex is beautiful and wonderful but it must roll past the act and to the Lord to become so much more. Our hearts break to hear what your family is going through. Remember that the whole world may turn its back on you but you are not called to please the world you are called to glorify God! ~Momma Amber in Spokane

  23. The Duggars are human like the rest of us. TLC needs to continue following them because the rest of the world needs an example to follow. Do the right thing, TLC, BRING THEM BACK. We all struggle with things in life. What was done was not right but we all have to figure out which path we will take ourselves and how to deal with things, either as the helper or the one needing the help.

  24. So why doesn't Josh say SOMETHING???

  25. I am so proud of your family!!! You have upheld the Word of God through all of this. Do not let Satan win--he uses people like this officer and this magazine to do his work and try to destroy God's Word. I am praying you stay strong through this--I would love to see you back on TV for your ministry--but if it is not God's will then so be it!!! Josh--stay strong and hold on to God's unchanging hand!!! Praying for all of you!!!

  30. You can raise your children in a Christian environment and they can still get caught up in doing bad things. No one is perfect. I am sorry your family has to go through with this. I truly believe the back lash is because you are a Christian family and when people hear Christian they expect perfection and that is just not going to happen.

  32. The Duggar family
I remember the day I picked up my phone to read the news. I have to say my reaction was complete shock, due to a very bad car accident im disabled and in pain always. I thought a out your family after reading 10,000.00 versions of what had been done. Because I have more time on my hands than most, I went to bed with your family in my head and heart. The next day, the internet was flooded with updates of what was printed and what happened. I posted on your families facebook a long apology for all of you, telling you to hang in there reasonable people with half a brain knew there was more to the story than what we were seeing on internet news, I posted it hoping your family might read it and know not all people can be fooled, I immediately started receiving notifications from people who do not know me calling me every name I could imagine, at one point I said ladies and gentlemen, please let me reply to what and why I typed what I did before continuing to call me names, I could not keep up, evil people saying these things to me. I had put alot of thought laying in bed about the rag mag In Touch. How did they get this report? Why was a sealed juvenile report released for the public to see? Other people saying I bet 15 or more girls come forward saying Josh has been doing it all along! My reaction was immediate! What??? Are you really trying to convince people that? Because rest assured if it were any of your daughters you would have been standing in the police department demanding action be taken!!! So that eliminated that accusation. My next point was how do you all think the magazine received this police intorigation? Dont you all see, this is an attack on this poor family that are probably crying themselves to sleep thinking about their beloved brother, son and husband reading the most despicable comments??? Dont you realize people commit suicide all the time from cyber bullying??
How dare you post such horrific things to a 27 year old with a wife and 4 children??? Their hatred was eating me up. I do think it was a good idea to do the interviews you all did. It certainly answered alot of questions that hopefully shut people up. I feel, the worst thing that happed to your family was the vicious act of stealing and copying a CHILDS sealed juvenile report and submitting it for the world to see!!!! They or he or she has stolen a piece of your privacy maliciously supplying it to a magazine to defame your family. Sue Sue Sue all parties involved. What was done to your family was by every angle breaking the law. I am sure you already have said to eachother the one mistake made was going to police at all! I wish for all your family to move forward with the love and respect you all have for eachother. Josh, hold your head up high! Remember you were 14 and what happened is long forgiven!

  33. Well done Duggars! We have enjoyed watching your family and you have been such a wonderful example in so many ways. Praying that all of you will be able to move on. So sorry the media has been so nasty.

  34. God has used your family to reintroduce our nation to morals that have been decline.Just like satan to try to come in steal kill and destroy but what satan in tends for evil God turns around for good.. Its funny when SOME people are in bondage they want people to be in bondage with them. I am so glad for the Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am glad that he has given to us life and life more abundantly and that he has broken the bonds of sin on those who put their trust in him. As Christians we understand the power that comes through forgiveness. May many see the forgiveness and repentance that your family demonstrates through the Lord Jesus Christ and desire to also to be set free from the power of sin and the attacks of satan. Just because something bad has happen to you or you done something bad we have a very loving heavenly father that is compassionate and merciful who wants to help us through are difficulties in life. He will only help as much as we allow him too. May other put their trust and faith in the Lord Jesus and see what God can truly do.

  35. I really can empathize with the girls. I don't understand why laws were broken by releasing records that were supposed to be sealed. There was no consideration on the part of the tabloid that they were causing these girls to relive something that happened a long time ago. I challenge everyone one of these so-called "reporters" to search their own lives and be honest about things that happened in their own lives. How would they feel if it was all brought to light? I was the victim more than once. I don't look at the boys that might have wanted to play doctor as molesters. I was the victim of an adult when I was only 5 years old. This went on for a number of years. When the older boy cousins found out about what had happened to us girls they thought it was open season to do the same things. There was no protect for me or counseling. I grew up thinking I had deserved what they were doing. It was only through God's love and His forgiveness that I was able to heal and move on. How dare these people feel that they are right in making these girls publicly have to defend themselves over all of the exaggerations that they are printing. What Josh did was similar to the boys that used to sneak up behind be to try and touch my breast to see if it was real in the 6th grade. Should I ruin their lives by making accusations against them? Where do you stop? Just because they are on TV doesn't give you the right to try and destroy their lives. You don't have a right to degrade them just because they stand up for their Christian values. I would much rather watch the Duggars than a show about the Kardasians. Take off the trash on TV and put the Duggars back on.

  36. The reporters who drudged this up are really hateful people. It is a sad world today. Everyone out to get each other simply for their beliefs..

  37. I am praying for your whole family. This is a spiritual battle, keep putting on the armor of God. I want to see back on TLC .

  38. Yes, it is illegal to release police documents concerning something someone did as a minor. Even if they are an adult now, the incidents they committed as a juvenile are kept under private documents. The police chief was the one who chose to release the documents. This was not done accidentally, and she was within a few months of retiring when she released these documents. This protects minors when they are young and making stupid mistakes. Generally, they grow up and learn from these mistakes done as youths and become responsible adults. You most likely would not commit these mistakes as a adult because you are wiser. A lot of these youths are embarrassed by what they did as younger people and wonder why they ever committed them in the first place. They are immature and make unwise decisions.

  39. You are making a better world, not just for your children, but for everyone. Thank you. One day your children will marvel at the blessings of having such strong God-fearing parents, as you do today for having your parents. Stay strong, as you are. God bless!

  40. So many of the Duggar rules make more sense to me now in light of what they went through 12 years ago with ,josh. Side hugs, chaperones, no free access to the internet, accountability partners, etc

  41. You are constantly in my prayers. I'm grieved about the negative comments on the issue with Josh. We are all sinners and have all made mistakes and this is no different. I know that only God can bring good of this and that He will. II am confident that Josh is a good man and loves the Lord and his family. May God continue to bless you and the whole family. Go with God. A sister in faith, Christine

  43. Praying for the entire Duggar family. It saddens me to see how the world is ready to pounce on sins of others, especially Christians. While what Josh did was wrong, which he has privately and openly admitted, continuing to tear down and victimize the girls is also wrong. There is not a sin, aside from "grieving the Holy Spirit" that isn't forgivable in God's eyes. The apostle Paul is a great example of this as he hated Christian and contributed to them being killed before his transformation\conversion to Christianity. Josh sought forgiveness from God through Jesus Christ then went to his victims also seeking forgiveness. God, through his mercy and grace forgave him. Unfortunately for the world that isn't enough. My prayer is that the Lord will use this huge trial for His good. Romans 8:28 We need to remember "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23. "But God demonstrated is own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Romans 6:23 Continue to keep your eyes on the "Author and Finisher of our faith!"

  44. I feel strongly that the press has made a "mountain out of a molehill." I like the show and would continue to watch it.
Josh was a kid when he did these things and he went to his parents. His father said he felt the girls from outside of their clothing. If I had to make a list of all the molested people I have known from that criteria It would be extremely long. What he did was not right BUT he was a curious adolescent KID.

  47. I honestly can't believe that people would judge a family of what they done in the past. People just need to move on from it and let it be, it doesn't help anything to dwell on what was done. This just brings back bad memories to Josh as well as the victims all over again. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and I sure do hope this can be all put behind us which should never have been put out to the public. May God Bless You All Always!

  48. Hang in there Duggars!! You are an inspiration to people around the world. Can't wait to see you on TLC!!!

  49. I am a survivor!! I have survived physical, mental, emotional abuse from my father and sexual abuse from a father figure, family member and an coach (3 separate men)

It is not something I have really talked about in public & only close family know particulars. Here's the clincher; I overcame the abuse and forgave the abusers even to the point of remaining in a relationship with one. This may cause eyebrows to go up; however, I mention it because my saving grace was and is every day of my life, Jesus Christ!

I can't imagine having the world know and judge my life!! I have made huge mistakes, broken so many of the commandments of God's Holy Word and, yet, I know I am loved and treasured! It took a long time and counseling to help me move past my childhood.

I suppose I'm posting this because I want anyone who is being abused to know to tell someone and keep telling people until you get help. Don't feel ashamed because it truly is the perpetrators sin, not yours.

I, also, want people to understand that you can forgive and move on in your life!!! Hopefully, the person or persons you forgive will realize their sinfulness and come to know the Lord as their Savior!

I pray for ALL of you know that God will never leave you, nor forsake you. He will use what others meant as bad for the glory of His Kingdom!!! I pray for God's spiritual strength, comfort, guidance and peace to fill all of you.
