  2. How do the Duggars celebrate Martin Luther King Day? Do they think of Marin Luther King as a great American man?

  9. Old women, largely pregnant women, tired women, little girls, lots of people like a chance to sit.

  10. Look at the whole family out defending the unborn children, that is really something. And then Jill and Derick are parents who cherish their little babe in Jill's womb. I hope all goes well.

  11. Tell me how a five and six year old can "march for life." If you asked them, could they tell you what they are marching for? Could they tell you what a "march" is?

    1. Probably, probably not but that's what parents are for, to teach and guide their kids in the right direction and taking them to march for such an important cause shows they are teaching very well :-)

  12. MLK wasnt the man everyone thinks he is but of course no one is allowed to say so. My mom's first husband's father worked with him at The Rainbow Coalition so he knows. MLK fired him because he was white. True story

  13. I believe that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would be honored to know that the Duggars stood up for the civil rights of those less fortunate than most. That's what he strove to achieve in his lifetime - The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for ALL of mankind, not just certain people. In fact, his niece, Dr. Alveda King, is a firm supporter of the Pro - Life movement and has been for many years. She often attends the D.C. March for Life. So do many women who regret choosing abortion rather than adoption. Many men who lost their sons and daughters because they had no say in the "right to choose" part of the woman's decision of abortion. Very disheartening how we care more about if someone celebrates a particular holiday or not, rather than the rising numbers of lost souls because of legalized abortions.

I think Josie is just fine. That is an umbrella stroller that she is sitting in, a common, easy to fold and carry stroller and one that is great to bring along for a long outing for little ones who can't keep up all day long. I loved my umbrella stroller because it allowed my little one to not get "lost in the shuffle" when we were out in a group and it sure beat carrying them around.

  16. Lily and Ellie,
I too wonder what's up with Josie in a stroller? She is 5 years old now. I hope she is okay.

  17. I reckon with Josie in a stroller at her age, we are seeing signs of her being born a micro-preemie. I wish the Duggars would not say that she has no issues. I work with kids of varying degrees of ability, and I have NEVER heard of a child being born that premature without lingering affects. It would be much more powerful and inspiring and say a,b,c are consequences of her being a micro-preemie and this is how we are treating them.

  18. Thankful that Cleveland Metro Hospital in Cleveland, OH, doesn't perform anymore abortions. I used to March for Life twice around that hospital every year. God does answer prayer.

  19. That's a McLaren special needs stroller, for children needing a stroller who normally wouldn't at 5 years old. Children who may have gross motor issues use these strollers, not the same as an umbrella stroller, that wouldn't be safe for a 5 year old.

  21. Hi Readers,

We have spent time with Josie, and she is a bright, inquisitive, responsive little girl. She shows no signs of physical or mental delay.

  22. I am curious to know if the Duggars endorse adoption. If they do, I wonder why they have not adopted children, considering their pro life stance.

  23. I have several friends who still bring along a stroller (while it is for their 3 and 1 year) and their 6 year old will ride in it when she's tired. Not a premie. Just tired and bored. She is on the smaller side (like Josie) and so umbrella strollers can hold her weight just fine. :)

  25. Really....all these comments on a stroller....I have 5 children and its so nice to bring a stroller along to act as a 'chair' or even still push the 3/4 yr olds on a long outing. Hmmmmm I am thinking "March for life, bring a stroller" would be a great slogan!! :)

  26. I have not spent time with the Duggars, but just watching Josie and looking at milestones that children develop at, there appear to be indications that she may deal with some challenges, especially speech. She's a lovely kid though an and very cute. Would be nice if Duggars could be honest.
