Grandma Duggar Babysits

When Jim Bob and Michelle and the older girls are all away, Grandma Duggar is in charge (video below).

"They need structure," she says, "but I also let them choose what they would like to do, and they get excited about that."

"We're just your average kids," says Jason. "We're not the best kids in the world. I mean, we all make mistakes."

  1. I love Grandma Duggar. She is the best and seems appreciated by all her grandchildren.

  2. Grandma Duggar is great to step up to look after them! I'm glad that she likes spending time with her grandchildren, and I am even happier to see that they like spending time with her and are respectful to her. You know, kids are going to break rules or try to test the boundaries. Kids are kids, and though the Duggars are some of the most well-behaved kids I've ever seen, as Jason said, they're still kids.

  3. She is so gently, patient, kind, loving and soft spoken. They are very lucky to have her in their lives. I want to be like her one day. This Grandma Rules! I think Grandma should write her own book on her life's experiences. She has a lot of good knowledge to share.

  5. Grandma Duggar is the grandma you always wanted to have around. She is so sweet and always loving and soooooo patient with all her grandchildren. I love the one where she is riding the roller coaster and gets on that twisting and winding ride. That was great!
I hope one day as a grandma I could be so fun!

  6. Grandma Duggar needs to write a book. She has two children with such different lives and experiences. She is godly, kind, giving, joyful, and (gasp!) she wears pants. She must not think women have to wear skirts only to be godly.

    Go Grandma Duggar!

  7. The older Duggar girl's book cover has been released and their book is scheduled to be released in early November!

  8. What I like best about her is that she came out of the closest and admitted she watches public television. Now if she can just convince the rest of the family to come out of the closet!
