Duggar Slushies

On a hot summer day, quench your thirst with a cold, Duggar-style slushie. Simply combine ice, sugar, lemon juice, and food coloring (optional) in a blender, grab a lawn chair, and enjoy your refreshing treat.
The Duggar kids are always experimenting with different foods and drinks, and there is no telling when their creative juices will start to flow (no pun intended). While everyone was running out the door to take Michelle and Jessa skydiving, Josiah and Joy were in the kitchen making slushies with several of the younger children. Jim Bob arrived on scene and hustled the children, drinks in hand, out to the bus.

Do your kids (or you) ever get involved in something just as your family is scheduled to leave the house?

  13. No, I don't allow my family not to be on time. Everyone gets ready in plenty of time to give others plenty of time to get ready. Then it's read a book or watch TV all in the same area, and stay there, so we can leave at the appropriate time and not be late.--We don't sleep in our day clothes either!
