Felicity and Ivy

Over the holidays Jessa and Ben Seewald visited Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo in Los Angeles. Jessa and Jinger are only 13 months apart and have always been close friends, so it's neat that their daughters are just 10 months apart. (Ivy turns one in May 2020, while Felicity turns two in July.)

  1. Didn't realize how close in age Felicity and Ivy were. They are getting so big.

    1. I'm just glad Jinger isn't following in her mom's and sisters footsteps, having one child after another.I'm proud Jinger is doing her own thing ,what she wants to do not what other people wants her to do. You go girl. Love your new look.love the outfits u wear and love your hair color.

  4. So very cute!
I wonder why they did not take Spurgeon and Henry with them, I' m sure the boys would enjoy California.

    1. The article doesn't say specifically if the boys were there but just because they're not in the picture doesn't mean they weren't there.

    2. I’m sure they and Ben were on the trip. Duggars normally don’t travel solo.

    3. No where does it say Spurgeon and Henry were not with their parents and Ivy in California.

    4. Nothing here states that Spurgeon and Henry didn’t go along..... 🤔

    5. They most likely did, we dont know. Maybe they are with Ben and Jeremy.

    6. I'm sure they were there, it's just the picture is just of the babies.

    7. How do you know they didn't? I thought they pictured the two girls because they're so close in age.

    9. There's no reason to think they didn't take the boys with them. Just because they aren't in this photo doesn't mean they were left behind in Arkansas.

    10. It clearly does not say if they brought the boys. BUT, it would be completely understandable if they only took Ivy along.

    11. You don’t know that they weren’t there but if they weren’t, it’s probably because it’s super hard traveling with 3 young children. Ivy is probably still breastfeeding so they would obviously take her. The boys would probably love staying with family.

    12. The boys stayed with Ben's parents.

    13. Taking a plane with 3 kinds under 4, one of whom is a breastfeeding baby, might be very tough. If they just wanted to visit Jinger for a quick visit, it would make sense to take Ivy only as she breastfeeds.

  11. I love yall's family so much! You Duggars have definitely inspired me to want to live your 'lifestyle'....

    1. Unknown- What 'lifestyle' are you referring to? I only ask because what you see on TV and social media is likely not an accurate reflection of how the Duggars live their day-to-day lives. I think it's too easy to become enamored with famous people and convince oneself that they've got it all together, when in reality they're just struggling along like everyone else. The grass is not always greener on the other side.

    2. You mean have a lot of children and live in a rural area?

    3. Hey! Nothing wrong with living in the rural area. Good people out where I live. Better than the city with it's crime and pollution!

  13. We assume this photo was taken a few weeks ago but Jinger's hair is brunette much like Jessa's. The Vuolos attended a family wedding in PA recently and Jinger's hair is very blonde and much longer. She looks better with her natural hair color IMO.

    1. Jinger’s roots and top of the head have always been brunette. I do agree that she looks better with her natural color, and also her natural curls. Haven’t seen those in a while

    2. Jinger has a very special hairstyle where it is one color at the top and a totally different color at the bottom.

    3. Ummm it's because she dyed it

  14. Dear Jessa and Jinger, it's amazing that you're 13 months apart and Felicity and Ivy are 10 months apart. You all look very pretty. Even in small families like mine my brother and I are 7 1/2 months apart. I can't wait for the next season to start. Natasha B

    1. Not to be nosey, but I'm curious how you and your brother are 7.5 months apart?

      Delete
    2. I don't think it's possible for siblings to only be 7 1/2 months apart. Doctors usually recommend 6 weeks without the activities that cause pregnancy, when you none months for a full term baby that's 10 1/2 months and if nursing a baby you can get pregnant but it is less likely. Oh course there is always adoption.....did they adopt?

    3. 7.5 months is a short time span. It would mean that your mother got pregnant immediately after giving birth (probably not possible) and you (assuming it was you) was extremely premature. Babies born in the 7th month of gestation usually do not survive, especially 10 or 20 years ago. And if they do, they have severe disabilities.

    4. Are you serious? Babies born at 7 months gestation ARE NOT usually stillborn or have a small chance of survival..and why do you think that if they survive they will have severe disabilities? What century are you living in?

  15. 7 1/2 months apart? He must have been born extremely premature.

  17. I wonder if Ben might be looking into studying at the same seminary as Jeremy. He was interested in theology. But I doubt Jessa would want to move so far away from her family. It's just not many opportunities there for Ben if he wants to grow.

    1. They interviewed, and Ben said he would not mind living in a big city like Jeremy&Jinger. Jessa looked at him, and she was like "I would not want to live in a big city". Jessa is used to help from her family, like her father gave her a house, her siblings help her with babysitting, construction, and just they all socialize there. Maybe they went to LA without the boys so that Ben could enjoy the city life a little.

  18. This picture is so cute my heart can't handle it! So glad the sisters could bond, the miles between them is tough, its like losing your bestie, I know, my sister moved and I feel empty a lot!
