Jinger's Competitive Streak

"We got a dart board soon after moving into the house, and [I] realized Jinger has quite the affinity for, and she's quite good."
-Jeremy Vuolo

Apparently Jinger (Duggar) Vuolo has a competitive streak! Would you have guessed that, based on seeing her on the show over the years? She and Jeremy have started playing darts, and they enjoy competing against each other.

  1. I really like these two. They are cute with each other. They also do not overuse the typical catchphrases "season of life" "surreal" and all the usual Duggarisms. They are less rehearsed, just more honest and from the heart.

  2. I didn't know she was a "south paw". Are any other family members left handed?

    1. She's the only one of the siblings but Cousin Amy is a lefty as well.

    2. Not sure about Jim Bob or Michelle but Jinger is the only one who is left handed of her siblings

  3. no never noticed her streak of competitiveness, but i mean with that amount of siblings at some point you'd want to be best.

    1. I don't playing darts with her husband as competitive. She's not in some sort contest or on a team that plays for a championship.

  5. They stopped growing avocados and are now throwing darts. That's nice.

  6. "You mean our anniversary"....oh, 'yes, that's what I meant' said Jeremy because this was NOT FILMED on their anniversary day.
This program is so staged, it should not ever be listed under 'reality program'.

  7. Just imagine Jingers potential in life! Wife, mother...... i hope one day she can get an accredited education be it university or a trade school and find her own nitch in life. Maybe hone in her photography skills and open up her own studio? or maybe even open up her own coffee shop and every month she can celebrate one of the kids from the swan kids charity? It would be sad to see jingers growth as an individual be stunted due to never being given a chance to bloom....

    2. This type of comment shows such a lack of respect for the amazing role of wife, mother and homemaker. In what way does this stunt a woman's potential? Did it ever occur to you that some women actually find great satisfaction and joy in raising families? Some of us are the most fulfilled and happy being at home and would rather not be out in the work place or go to a university. I am a wife and mother of 7 children, half of which are now grown to adulthood. Never once have I regretted my role choice and am very blessed to have been there to help mold and guide my children to becoming the amazing people they are today. Stop belittling our choice to raise a family and start showing respect for the enormous undertaking that a stay at home mom takes on!

    3. Yes, great point! Jeremy "lived a little" prior to getting married and played professional soccer. The Bates kids are going to college but the Duggars never seem to.

    4. Maybe she doesn't want to do any of that! Loving the Lord, caring for your husband and children are enough in life!!! Some people don't need earthly things to make them feel like they are SOMETHING in life!

    5. Therevis nothing SAD about not desiring to go to college or pick up a different career choice. Motherhood is a career and a desire for many women. The duggar girls are not in prison. They have freedom of choice.

    6. I wish people would understand that being a wife and stay at home mom is not looked at by all women as giving up a career. To those of us that have chosen to stay at home for our family's we do not all feel that we have given anything up. I feel sorry for women that don't have the choice to stay home. I don't want anyone else raising my kids. And why does her growth have to be stunted because she stays home. Some people value very different things. I value the opportunity to be available at all times for my family's needs. Not just my husband and kids. My extended family as well. The sacrifice is well worth it.

    7. It's not the fact that Jinger is a stay-at-home mom, it's the fact that ALL the Duggar wives are stay-at-home moms, right from their weddings. Even the unmarried girls are stay-at-home girls. There's the problem. See a pattern that will not break? Why do you think that is? Do you think it's right to put such expectations on all your daughters? Most parents I know encourage their children, male and female, to be all they can be, to get higher education, to have careers. That doesn't mean you can't have babies, too, it means you should not hold your daughters back by telling them from an early age that their highest calling is motherhood and that's all.

    8. I dont think the OP was attacking stay at home moms!!! Being a sahm is probably the hardest most rewarding job on the planet!!!!!But think about this... out of 19 children not a single one of them has had any desire to go to college and do something with their life other than having as many children as god blesses them with. None of the Duggar children have been given the choice or opportunity to Persue their own unique dreams and be allowed to use their talents for employment outside the home. All the boys work for their father selling cars, flipping houses, real estate, car towing and construction. One is a pilot. He flies his family where they want to go but he is not employed as a pilot or even a police officer. He is a costable. All of the girls I mean ALL of them only dream about getting married and having children. Out of 9 girls, you are telling me All of them want the same thing??? Don’t get me wrong, bring a mother IS a full time job, running a home is a full time job!! But it appears none of these children want anything but to be a mom? Didn’t jinger want to be a photographer and move to a big city? Didn’t Joy want to get her pilots liscence? Didn’t Jill want to become a nurse? But these girls were stunted to a degree because they were never allowed to explore any other options.....

    9. 10:29 As a retired senior citizen I have been fortunate enough to go to college, have a professional career, as well as raise a family and be a stay-at-home mom for a few years. I understand all too well the pressures placed upon women, whether they work outside the home or not. The advice I gave my daughter was this: Never expect to rely on a man or husband to support you, for the simple reason that stuff happens: divorce, illness, death of a spouse, job loss- you name it. A young woman does herself a huge favor by thinking ahead and planning for herself. This may mean getting a degree or some kind of job training that will serve you well should the unthinkable happen. You also want to consider the day when you will need the resources to support yourself in your senior years. BTW- being a stay-at-home mom is a temporary job. Kids grow up and leave home.

    10. I have 2 bachelor's degrees and a master's degree. I quit it all when my oldest was born to pursue my lifelong dream of being a mom. No regrets, never looked back. Well, one regret. Wish I would've meet my husband sooner and not wasted all the time and money with school and work.

    12. Maybe the reason the girls all seem to want to be SAHM's is because they had such an extraordinary example.

    13. 8:45, then why do the Bates girls (and others) go to college and work?

    14. Shocker!! Some women actually want to be stay at home moms. It is completely selfish to expect someone else to raise your children. Women should not work outside the home.

    15. I hope Jinget has tons of little Vuolos!!

    16. None of the girls are in prison. They are all free to do what they want. I get tired of these people assuming things about the duggars. They never ONCE stated that their kids did not have options.

  13. I can see how Jinger would enjoy using something like darts as an outlet for competition and achievement, since she's not been able to compete or achieve herself in the world through academics, sport, or professionally.
