  1. I really enjoy looking at this website and the Bates website since I don't have relatives. So nice that Jeremy was able to get a piano and that the Duggars could come to visit.

  2. That's awesome, that Jeremy bought Jinger a piano. It was nice to see how happy she was with the piano and Jeremy. 🎹

  3. Sweet! Jinger's piano fingers are magical; her & Jeremy's love tangible. Happy Anniversary! ❤

  4. I guess the whole family is pretty much back on the show now. No disrespect intended, but I am disappointed.

    1. I'm sure that was the intention all along.

    2. Why? The change up with the show was really to get Josh off, not the rest of the family.

    3. Anon @ 7:48 Me too. When 19 Kids was taken off the air and replaced by counting on it was supposed to be about the older daughters with minimum appearances by the parents, but in the last couple of episodes they have been very prominent. There was a reason why the parents were to have limited screen time, that reason has not changed and the format should not change either.

    4. Not disappointed at all. Very Happy that they're back!!🤗🤗🤗

    5. I'm not disappointed either! I like seeing more of the family. It had become a little too narrow when it was mostly about Jill and Jessa.

  5. I loved seeing JInger's family surprise her for her anniversary. How precious. She seemed so happy to see them.

  6. Jeremy is romantic and thoughtful husband...Jinger is beautiful..she is the only child that favors her mother..I wish TLC would have shown her playing the piano. Her and Jana could play professional. I loved Jo and Kendras sex revealed was something new that I haven't seen.John David took very safe measures. This was a great show..I just wish it wasn't old news.

    1. Those "safe" measures were probably to appease the anti-gun people. It's still shooting at things in your back yard, which is unnecessary, especially for a party and with small children around.

    2. Jinger is beautiful but she is not the only child that looks like Michelle. I think Jodie looks so much like her mother.

    3. Anonymous at 308PM: So you think that only "anti-gun" people care about safe handling of firearms? Actually the NRA conducts gun safety courses, and the vast majority of "pro-gun" people I have met believe that while there is a right to bear arms, gun owners also have a responsibility to do so safely.

The Duggars are known to be very pro-Second Amendment, but they also took care to keep the children out of the yard until John David had set up the explosives, and he was the only one with any firearm in his hands. I don't think anyone was endangered by what he did. I guess it's possible to have set up a trigger device not using any guns, but I actually commend TLC for not totally censoring things. Though I know it's not just John David who uses guns in real life, Duggars who don't have LEO badges also do.

    4. You know exactly who I meant, 9:51. It was a typo is all, and, yes, shame on me for not proof reading. But shame on you for being so nit picky.

  7. Fantastic episode! I cried along with Jinger & Michelle when Jinger ran to her Momma & hugged her and cried. It was so nice of her brothers and Pops to make food that reminded her of home. She really needed that visit. She's probably even more homesick now that the baby is here.

  8. How sweet! I started tearing up when Jinger rushed to hug Michelle.

  9. Beautiful surprise! She was homesick considering how she cried when she saw her family. I like this couple.

  10. So, in the last episode they were announcing the pregnancy (probably in december-January 2018) and now back to November 2017 for the anniversary? Why is it so all over the place?

    1. I guess TLC thinks their viewers aren't smart enough to notice this stuff?

    2. I didn't understand the timeline either

  11. I could listen to you play all day Jinger.... beautiful

  12. Well, you can't complain that JB, Michelle and the rest are being excluded from the show!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But we can continue to complain to TLC that they're included, when the show was not supposed to be about them and they were supposed to take parental responsibility for what happened.

      Delete
    2. Obviously there must have been more complaints that the parents were NOT included more, compared to the complaints they they WERE included.

I'm pretty sure most of the people who were upset by the Josh reveals aren't even watching the show anyway, so TLC is going to respond to actual audience members, not people they know they'll never win back, even if they totally ban Jim Bob and Michelle from the show.

    3. Things happen in the best of families and we can all look on and think or say they did it wrong. The truth is none of us know what we would do unless faced with the situation. JB and Michelle did what they thought was best. As far as what they were required to disclose there were no criminal charges. I like seeing the whole family. I would like to see an interview with Josh to explore what happened and help others avoid the same mistakes. Nothing changes if nothing changes.

  13. Seems like Jinger really hit the jackpot with Jeremy. I love watching these two together and Jinger's reactions are just priceless! This is definetly my fav episode of 'Counting On' so far. Best of luck for theirs & Felicity's future life!

    1. I agree! I wonder if they discuss his past since it was very different from hers. If they do , is she jealous of all he experienced.

  14. Sorry, but my parents and my siblings were the last people I wanted to see on my first anniversary, even though I was also hundreds of miles from home and had been since I got married. Anniversaries are couple time, private time, not family reunion time! And I really have to question if all that took place on their actual anniversary, because this entire season is one big time warp. I have a feeling that was filmed much later than the early November wedding date.

    1. I think you’re right. Jinger and Jeremy announced the pregnancy to the family on thanksgiving based on the fact that she was 6 weeks pregnant and the outfits they wore, and their anniversary happened before thanksgiving. But on this episode the family already knows she’s pregnant so I definitely think it was filmed around December

      Delete
    2. Everyone has different feelings. Being pregnant for the first time does make you miss your family when they live far away. They still had a romantic dinner, and they have plenty of alone time with no family living near them. Plus her family only appeared to stay a day.

      Delete
    3. While a lot of the show is staged, that was not, you could tell it was all very genuine

      Delete
    4. I think Jeremy knew how homesick Jinger was and anniversary or not wanted her to be with them. Judging by her response he hit the nail on the head.

    5. I hope she gets to move back around her family. They are all raising their children around each other and it's got to be so lonely to now have a child of your own and be so far from everyone. I know how that feels because I went through that same thing and my heart would break not being around my siblings and parents to share my life with. Then my husband got a job around where my family lived and I was so happy to be back home. I hope she gets that too.

    6. Maybe Jinger likes having a life outside of rural Arkansas and spending all her days at her parents' home like Jessa.

    7. There's a lot to be said about being adults and out on your own, making your own way, too.

    8. I thought it was very sweet of Jeremy to make it happen, since he knew she'd been missing her family.

  16. This was beautiful! Thanks for posting this clip. I have the episode recorded and will watch it soon. I very much enjoyed watching this heartfelt moment between Jeremy and Jinger, as well as the additional surprise of the Duggars greeting Jinger

  17. Jeremy seems like such a great guy and very thoughtful and attentive husband. Wish he had an older brother for me!

  18. They are such a sweet couple

  19. What an awesome gift. My husband bought me a piano for our wedding gift. :) I do have a question. Since the camera men and crew are outside and also in the living room, surely she has to know something is up? CW

    1. Of course she knew something was up. I’m sure the whole thing was staged. There is very little “reality” in reality television.

  20. Jinger's reaction to the piano (literally) made me cry! She was so shocked and so happy! I will admit that Jinger and Jeremy are probably my favorite couple off the show, if I had to choose. They just seem so happy together and their love seems very pure and genuine. I look forward to continuing to watch their lives as parents unfold!

  21. Such a sweet husband! Big gift too

  22. All this hoopla about Jinger missing her family. What about Jeremy and HIS family? Perhaps he misses them also. No mention of that? Why would they have to move back near HER family? Why not move to PA to be near his family? After all, she married IN TO JEREMY'S family just as much as he married in to Jinger's. Let's be fair here now folks. IMO, Jinger would not thrive living close to her family. She would not be allowed to be herself around them and would be completely free to make her own decisions around the Vuolos, not the Duggars. The Duggars simply are not 'healthy' for their children. Too claustrophobic. Jeremy knows this.

    1. What's wrong with learning how to start your own life in a new place, minus the rest of the family? You can fill up the homesick void if you pour yourself into your new place and find things to do there, with the people there. If you never let go, you never grow up. Besides, Laredo is now the only "home" Felicity knows, so they'd better stop pining for Arkansas. Move on and build a new life where you are, with the family you have there.

      Delete
    2. Totally agree with you. I think moving away was the best thing to happen to Jinger, she has got her independance and devloped an identity of her own, instead of just being one of nineteen in a TV family/reality show.

      Delete
    3. The two situations really don't compare. Not only is she much younger than Jeremy, Jinger went from her parents' house directly to Jeremy's, and suddenly went from living with over a dozen people to living with one person. But Jeremy had been on his own for many years before his marriage.

I think Jinger would agree that she would "not thrive living close to her family" but that doesn't mean she doesn't miss them when they're not around.

Many Jinger fans see her as a rebel who's happy to be "free" from the family and is charging ahead with her own life and not looking back. This is very unrealistic. Jinger may disagree with her parents on some issues, but they're still her parents, she obviously loves them.

      Delete
    4. Jinger should realize she's now a wife and mother first and foremost, not mommy & daddy's little girl. She knew going into this marriage that it would mean moving away, yet she still did it. She'd better quickly learn to make the most of it away from her family or her life is not going to be happy. You can't summon most of your family to you every time you have an anniversary or are feeling a little homesick. I was a military wife and on most of our anniversaries, I didn't have my husband home, let alone have my family and a piano show up! So buck up Jinger, things could be worse.
