  2. Please let us know when more than 3 episodes will be available on Hulu. A lot of people don't have cable anymore. I love the show and still unable to watch it.

  3. just curious why JOy Anna and Austin's isn't airing first since they married first?

    1. Joy and Austin's wedding, will be on the tv show first. This advertisement, is promoting the fact, that you can watch a sneak peak of Joesph and Kendra's Wedding, on the TLC Go app, which is for, cell phones, and tablets.

    2. Their wedding was on earlier in the year.

    3. It did. They aired the wedding first, then everything that led up to it. This is how they've been doing the seasons lately, I guess in the hopes of keeping fans interested by giving all the "good stuff" up front. Seems goofy to me.

  4. Why arent Jill and Derrick on the promotional material? Are they off the show?

    1. Derick may have shot himself in the foot with his anti-TLC-star statement this summer....

    2. Thinking so after the TLC issue.

    3. They're still on the show, they just aren't being featured as the face of it right now. Yes, likely due to Derick's recent behavior. No telling if it's because viewers are upset or if it's because TLC is punishing him for ragging on one of their other shows.

  5. Young romances can be very sweet, but I am surprised none of these parents are ever concerned that their inexperienced teen is blinded by excitement and infatuation (and hormones) and rushing into a mistake. All teenagers are excited and over the moon about their first boyfriend and girlfriend. That giddiness is not a good way to choose a lifelong partner. Just look at Josh and Anna.

    1. Keep in mind that the duggar' s relationships are always guided by prayer and seeking the Lord. You can't get much wiser than that. No, they are not blinded because the do pray and seek counsel for these relationships. As for Josh and Anna, look at how strong Anna has been and how loving she is toward her husband. Josh messed up but they are rebuilding their marriage.

    2. Joy and Austin have known each other for years. Kendra and Joe have known each other for a long time. I hardly think they have rushed anything. Their parents have all also been friends for a long time.

Giddiness is not confined to the young. Most people are giddy when they fall in love no matter what their age.

    3. These young people, during their courting period, do far more in-depth communication about their values, priorities, plans, goals, etc. than people in typical dating relationships, who hang around with each other and get physical for years and then get married because they were comfortable dating, without ever investigating deep issues.

    4. I agree and I don't think that the family sees it like that or they would provide a different path.

    5. 7:24- How would you know how much or how little communication goes on with couples in "typical dating relationships?" I can assure you, I came to learn a great deal about the men I dated and which one I knew I wanted to marry. My husband and I recently celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary. Contrary to what you may believe, you don't have to do things the Duggar way in order to have a successful relationship.

    6. I got over the teenage dating giddiness and was able to find a partner for life without it. By the time you're older, you can discern what's good in the other person without doing all the giggling. What I'm seeing here with all the Duggar girls and boys is a way to keep them from getting the least bit physical by pairing them off for life with what would normally be their first boyfriend/girlfriend.

    7. Don't forget the potential spouse has to fill out a 100-page questionnaire! I'd say after that there's not much else to learn about the other person. Lol!

    8. Anon @ 5:57 I think the questionnaire is to satisfy Jimbob that the young man has the same beliefs as his famimy, and can provide for his daughter and any family they might have. I am pretty sure it does not answer all those little questions that help us get to know the things that make each one of us totally individual, and hopes and dreams, those things can only be answered through spending time with someone and having private conversations, something it would be hard to do with an ever present chaparone.

    9. @1:14. Ben and Derick do not support their families. Jeremy has a proper job, and it seems Austin has several trades he uses for income. Anna's husband works for his daddy, like all of his brothers.

    1. So many rumors spreading but we all carry differently and our frame is never the same.
I'm hoping she eats less icecream or the weight will stick while pregnant.
I did that by mistake with whole milk and added 20 lbs.

    2. I've only seen her eating ice cream in that one set of pregnancy announcement photos. We don't know that she's had any more since then, do we?

  7. Thank you for sharing this! I wasn't aware so many shows are unlocked. I have been able to watch a few shows of Counting On, and I also watched a few shows of Bringing Up Bates on Uptv.com.

  9. Why did TLC edit out the fact that Jana and the duggars friend Laura were also on the trip to San Antonio? A photograph has surfaced which shows both couples and the two girls taken on the trip. Is Jana not allowed to visit her sister, or do they not want people to know she is there to help Jessa when both parents are there, including Jana would have made the trip more interesting? Why do TLC do this (and the Duggars go along with it) they always get caught out, usually when a photograph surfaces?

    1. Or maybe one of the two was meeting a young man in Texas and wanted to keep it hush-hush? Who knows? It's not a big deal to me to not know everything.

    2. I guess TLC wanted to focus on "how hard" it is to travel with little ones. But the truth is, Jessa had Ben, her sister, her sister's friend, and a film crew with her to help. And a First Class seat, with lots of legroom for that blanket. This is not how most parents travel with kids.

I wish Jessa would have addressed the fact that she had lots of help along with her, and humbly and thankfully acknowledged that she was once again more privileged than most. Now that would have been the type of Duggar behavior we've been led to expect. Hiding things? Not so admirable.

    3. May I add that we keep hearing that Jana is always stuck at home, here is an example where she got to go visit a sister in another state, with another sister and her family and a friend and TLC didn't include her, infact totally edited her out, just wondering why?

  10. Without a cable provider I can't access TLC go here.

  11. I noticed the first class seat. How nice is that! This episode was another example of typical Duggar/TLC work - always making things look a certain way when that is not how it really happened. For Jessa and Ben to have 2 built-in caregivers along for their 2 children is indeed a privilege most of us would not have.
