Ben Seewald's Advice For New Dads

In an interview with TLCme host Danni Starr, Ben Seewald shares his best parenting tips for dads of infants, as well as how he hopes to connect with his kids when they are older.

"Right now it's one day at a time," says the new dad. "Lots of diaper changing and lots of spending time with Spurgeon, just talking to him face-to-face, letting him hear my voice and see me."

  1. I refuse to watch that interviewer, she is dressed inappropriately for interviewing young men, and she comes across as flirty. It just doesn't feel right.

  3. He has a 4 month old. How much good advice can he have?
When is there going to be more emphasis on the other older boys?

  4. Where's the ministry element to this show any more? They are now featured more as celebrities. Sad departure.

  5. How on earth do you see this interviewer as dressed inappropriately? She looks fine to me, dressed as a young modern woman. Also, I didn't see anything remotely resembling flirtatious behavior.

  6. I find it very judgemental on a number of these posts for fellow christans to keep saying that the interviewer is dressed inmodestly and other hateful stuff judged on her appearance. If you were interviewing a muslin women would you wear cover your head? No you wouldn't, so why should she dress differently. The men are all adults and can handle their own emotions and thoughts!!

  7. Love watching the show but since I don't have cable I can't view any of the past three episodes. It would be great if TLC would stay current on episodes for others to view online.

  8. Advice? He probably needs advice more than he's ready to give it. Wish the interviewer had more interesting topics.

  9. It's hard to watch Ben answer. It seems like his thoughts are always scattered and you just want to finish his sentences for him.
