Duggar Bus For Sale

How would you like to own the Duggars' trusty silver bus? Before being purchased by the stars of "19 Kids and Counting," this well-equipped coach was used by a famous singer. It has fifteen bunks (each big enough to sleep two little Duggars), a bathroom, kitchenette, and multiple TVs. The bus is currently listed on Josh's website (Champion Motorcars) at $84,500.
How will the Duggars get along without their silver "home away from home," you may ask? Jim Bob recently purchased a newer model to better meet the family's unique needs.

What is the biggest vehicle that your family owns?

  1. I wish!! Too bad I don't have that kind of money! My husband and I have been talking about that bus a lot lately since we are looking into RV's and keep saying how great the Duggar bus would be for all the bunks!

  6. Does a combine count as a vechile? We own one international harvestor.I don't do any of the farming on our small 290 acre farm so I really don't know what model it is. I do know it moves at a whooping 5 miles per hour and my cats love to sleep on it.

  7. We have 10 children and a '99 Suburban! We've had to modify it to seat 12. We were stationed overseas with the military when we outgrew it. :-) No way to sell it in Japan, Korea or England...hence the adaptation. However, we are very grateful to have it! There may be a 15-passenger van in our future when we rotate back to the States, though. :-)

  8. I'm sure their good friends, the Bates, would make good use of it.

  10. Seems to me the original "story" was that they bought it from a minor league hockey team. Darn TLC execs; they keep changing the script!

  11. We got a short school bus… we will be having our fifth and don’t trust the passenger vans. School busses are the most regulated and safest vehicles-yet extremely cheap if you find one used. Get diesel, it will last forever and the cost of diesel is made up for by it’s better efficiency. We got ours for $6,500. 22 feet long, seats 35 but we will remove some. Just have to paint it something other than yellow and remove the stop sign, writing, and blinking bus lights to use as a personal vehicle-oh and go local to get insurance-the big companies won’t insure it. Once you get it insured though, it’s going to be far less than what you pay for your conventional vehicles. Weird but it’s the best choice!
