More from Jessa & Ben

As we announced this morning, the three Seewalds will grace this week's cover of PEOPLE Magazine, available on newsstands Friday.

Despite the trials that the former stars of 19 Kids and Counting have endured over the past six months and the inaccurate and hateful stories that the media has written about the family, Jessa tells PEOPLE that she and Ben "know who [they] are and find joy and satisfaction in God."

  1. As a Muslim I know how media always focuses negative behaviour. May God bless the new family :)

  2. Jessa could have died. This is not a happy story. Why is this being reported as if it is nothing?

  3. Thinkin' as much as these ladies want home deliveries, they should just go to the hospital. It can still be a natural delivery.

  4. How come there is no pics or even a mention of the Seewald grandparents....They are just as much grandparents as the Jim Bob and Michelle is....?

  5. Amen Jessa. Stay focused on God and your son and family.

  6. I don't buy any magazinesuggestions like People Magazine, but I saw what the cover looks like on many posts from a bunch of different people. I am so happy that Jessa and Ben are doing well. They deserve to be happy. Anyhow, you all take care, and enjoy those new babies. I hope one day I can meet you wonderful people. Hugs from me to you.

  7. Hi Everyone! I've watched you all since the first show and have loved every episode! I came from a family of nine children and marvel at the efficiency of the Duggar parents without raising voices or corporal punishment. I miss you all. Love to you and prayers for continued health and peace. God is the only judge. Anyone can change. Take care of each other and thanks for keeping in touch! Love ya! Jeri K.

  8. While I'm anxious to hear more from Jessa and Ben... Oh that girl must be downright EXHAUSTED! A birth, a hospital visit and an interview and photo session. I hope they kept those last two very short. She needs to cuddle that baby and sleep every chance she gets.

  9. Just heard the babys name. Spurgeon Elliot. Not bad but I hope they call him Spur for short. Spur Seewald isn't too bad. Congratulations. He is beautiful.

  11. Congratulations, Jessa and Ben! I think baby Spurgeon and the rest of the family would be happy for some peace and solitude. However, I don't understand what you mean by, "Inaccurate and hateful" media exposure - was what was reported false and invented by the media, and have the Duggars spoken up to correct the misinformed rumours?

  12. Why should I read a magazin the Duggars would never touch to learn about them. I will never get this. Why don't they use a christian magazin or publish their own tabloid?

  13. People magazine is a vile publication. I don't buy it, don't want to been seen reading it in a medical waiting room and don't visit their website. It is full of immorality and sexually provocative images. Don't know why the Duggars associate themselves with that rag.

  14. I agree! This magazine is completely contradictory to their beliefs.

  15. A Christian being in People Magazine is like a Christian being in a Football Stadium. You can use your presence to offset the secular things and you focus on the things that are a part of your belief system. I'm not partial to People Magazine but I'm not going to look down my nose or think any less of the Duggars, Sewalds or Dillards for doing interviews with that magazine. They might as well have one Entertainment based magazine that will put them in a positive light or at least neutral light. People magazine definitely offsets some of the negativity other magazines are doing.

  16. I don't agree with Alberta. If you buy a magazin like PEople magazin you do it because the news about celebrities not because you want to learn about a christian lifestyle. And when you read about people like Duggar family you would think this family must be crazy.
By the way, my husband purchasesd this issue for me as a surprise.....he knows how much I like the show!

  17. I'm guessing they were paid well from the magazine. I would be more leary about the blood transfusion...

  18. As Christians our hope is to seek & save those who are lost. The lost read People magazine. If the article makes one person wonder about the God that the Duggars serve and a seed is planted in their heart then to God be the glory.
