Rallying for Life in DC

It was well below freezing in Washington D.C. this morning, but the Duggars bundled up and joined other pro-life Americans at the March for Life.

Josh and Anna Duggar and their three kiddos were thrilled to spend some quality family time with Jim Bob and Michelle and several of the Duggar kids.

  4. Good for them! Fighting for those who can't speak is an important thing. All Christians should be in this struggle for unborn life.

  5. Eek. I wish the Duggars would let their children decide for themselves how they feel about political issues. There is a LOT more to this issue than terminating a pregnancy. You see, Jim Bob and Michelle chose this devout lifestyle. Michelle at age 15, and Jim Bob around the same time. The kids, however, have been given no choice in the matter. It's very sad. There are so many wonderful things about this "worldly" society we live in.

  11. I thought it interesting that some posters expressed concern that the Duggar kids are not allowed to make their own choices. Personally, I would not worry too much about that because people have had their agency since the time of Adam. But putting free agency aside for a moment, I fully expect that most, if not all of the Duggar children will hold firm to their faith and honor the values their parents have taught them. At this stage in life it is appropriate for the family to support the causes they care about as a family. Whether or not the children continue this trend when they have families of their own, will be up to them, just like any family. Most parents try to teach their beliefs and values to their children and hope they will embrace these values as adults. I'm not sure why anyone would feel these children are somehow deprived because they are being raised to reject some of the world's more depraved practices.

  12. Thank you for posting this! My thoughts exactly. All this grave concern for "the children" when "the children" are being raised in a family where they are taught to love, to be responsible, to be selfless and kind to one another... etc., etc....unlike many families today. I couldn't be more thrilled to see a family like this on the planet. These are the kind of good people that should be having children, practicing Christians help make the world a better place!

  13. I was at the March for Life this year! It was one of the best experiences of my life! It was very eye opening to so many issues surrounding abortion. I will definitely go again in the future, well, actually I hope it comes to an end at some point, and we never have to march for this cause again. I wish I could have seen and met the Duggars, but oh well. Maybe someday...

  15. If adoption was made much easier, then the abortion rates would decline significantly. There are so many people who actually want children and so many in foster care, but the process is so hard. Maybe just maybe if the states would ease up a bit on the rules and legislation it would help the slaughter and pain that these babies endure.God speed to the mothers who are currently making the decision of what to do, we pray for you.

  16. I think the Duggars allow each child to be who God made him to be!!! I do NOT think they push them except to allow them to accept Christ, which all Christians should do. You really have the wrong idea of the family!!! God bless you anyway!!!

  17. Hi Duggars!! I just have a quick question for y'all. If an 11~year~old is raped or something, I just want to know, what you would do personally? I am not trying to ask rudely, I just want to know your opinion on different circumstances that lead to abortion. Have a wonderful day~and congrats Jill & Derick!!! <3 :o)

  18. @KitKath Killing an unborn baby is never wonderful. The Duggars are wise to train their children to respect life.
