Hot Dog Flavored Potato Chips?

We were at Costco this evening shopping for large quantities (Duggar Style), and we happened to see a large bag of Hot Dog Flavored Potato Chips. We couldn't bring ourselves to pay for these limited edition chips, not knowing how they would taste. (Too bad they weren't being sampled!)

But we're curious....

Have you ever tried Hot Dog Flavored Potato chips? If so, how do they taste?

  1. LOL! I can't imagine eating a hot dog flavored chip--even though I really like hot dogs.
I have eaten pickle flavored chips though and have to say that they really did taste like dill pickles. :-)

  2. I don't get it. What does this have to do with the Duggars???

  3. You can't go wrong with a hot dog, whether it be a potato chip or whatever. I personally have never had the privilege to eat a hot dog flavored chip.

My personal favorite hot dogs are Hebrew National.

I'm sure that the Duggar clan would have been more happy with dill pickle flavored chips than hot dog flavored ones any way. ;-)

  4. Yuck!

Not only have I never tried one, this is the first time I've even heard of them.

I suppose I'm fairly conservative when it comes to my potato chips, I'd never though of it before!

I'm curious to hear a review of this new product!

  5. I haven't had hot dog flavored chips, but I recently tried BBQ rib flavored chips and they actually do taste remarkably like BBQ ribs...

  6. I bought some at BIG LOTS a couple weeks ago and gave a few to my four year old for a snack. I didn't tell him what they were and they look like regular old ripple potato chips. Well, he eats one and gives me a funny look and says, "Mom, why do these chips taste like hot dogs?" So, yeah...they taste like hot dogs. I'm not really a fan, but they were fun to have for our camping trip.

  7. I completely love these chips... Not sure what brand you saw, but Shearers makes a great ripple variety... Try a google search for them if you're interested!

  8. Sounds good! I like to try random flavors of chips that most people wont try. I've had hot sauce, pizza, queso, baked potato, jalapeno popper, herb, pickle, and hambuger. Pringles makes alot of those and other weird ones!!!!
