Seewalds Celebrate 11 Years

Jessa and Ben Seewald just celebrated 11 years of marriage. Does anyone remember watching their wedding on 19 Kids and Counting? To celebrate this milestone, the couple spent two nights in Branson, Missouri, just the two of them (plus three-month old Edward Seewald). They uploaded a video to YouTube

  2. Jessa needs to stop monetizing what should be private things in her life. Filming having babies, filming an anniversary (instead of focusing on each other)...I don't want to think about what she might try to monetize next.

    1. If my spouse insisted on filming a special anniversary trip and sharing it online (for money), that would be the last anniversary...

    2. Sad thing is putting her kids and life out there for the public to see is the most money her and Bin make. For some reason, women putting the births of their children on Youtube makes a phenomenal amount of money.

    3. It is reality TV or now video, if it were a hal..... movie people would love it! Consider actors get paid to act out love and fidelity while showing nice places to be, however really thinking about it those two actors are not a real pair.

    4. 6:59, as most of us have learned, there is nothing real about reality TV. It's not real life, nor is a scripted movie real life. What Jessa is showing isn't really her life, it's an edited version put out there to make money. Meanwhile, time spent filming, editing, and trying to impress a paying public is time not spent fully engaged with her spouse or family. Imagine your mom always filming herself or you when you're a little kid. Kids can't handle that, nor are they supposed to have to. Little kids would be wondering why Mommy isn't paying full attention, and bigger kids would be wondering if what they're doing is going to be made public. Didn't Jessa learn anything about the danger of that while growing up? Apparently not. History repeats itself.

    5. @Crowdiegal Yes, and there are ways to make more money other than to sell your family's privacy. I don't know which of them thought that was a good idea, especially after having to endure invasive TLC cameras. Phone cameras are no better.

    6. To the women complaining about Jessa sharing videos of her life and children, did you watch the videos? I would bet you did. That's like eating a piece of cake at a,restaurant, then complaining that cake is sold to the public.

    7. @11:36 I won't watch their video channels and contribute to the clicks. I would encourage them to find another way to finance their lives. There's immense freedom in not having to please the public.
