Jinger Vuolo, mom of three, decided to do a makeover of her daughters' bedroom. It was a surprise for seven-year-old Felicity, while she was away on a trip with Jeremy. Felicity shares the room with Evie, who turns five in November. Jinger uploaded a YouTube video that shows the makeover process.

That big house has looked sad and bare and empty since they moved in. I don't think Jinger has the knack of decorating at all. The room looks like it does now because all those other people came in and did the creative part! You saw the "before," which was all Jinger's doing. And the house they sold before this one - cold and sterile. For some reason, Jinger doesn't feel comfortable coming out of her shell, and it's reflected in her surroundings.
ReplyDelete@8:58 Cut her some slack. They haven't lived in this new home very long and she's since had another baby. She has other kids and making decorating a priorty isn't easy, even if you do have a knack for it. Not everyone has a House Beautiful decor.
Delete@3:04 That cold, boring, empty kitchen IS their redo! They did it right away.
DeleteAnd maybe they like plain and simple. It’s their home they are free to decorate or not.
DeleteIt seems like too much house and Jinger is overwhelmed. Obviously Jeremy is happy with his status symbol. Tons of room for his sneaker collection! (What's that verse about not storing up treasures?)
DeleteWhat’s the verse about judging others?
DeleteJinger can't meal plan, shop, and cook by herself? Or is she just looking for sponsorships.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what her problem is. She needs to learn to be organized and plan ahead. If Jinger can't do that at her young age, she's going to have bigger problems in the future when life gets even more complicated! Unless what she said wasn't the truth, it was just to sell that meal plan... Again, problems.
DeleteFelicity is growing up and should have her own room and let the little sister share a room with the little brother. At any rate I hope Jeremy lets Jinger have a few more children.
ReplyDeleteThat house is big enough that nobody should have to share. I don't think Jinger can fathom the idea of being a child with your own bedroom.
Delete"Lets" her have more children? Like you need "permission" for that? Like Jeremy's in sole charge of that?
DeleteEver thought that Felicty and Evangeline might actually like sharing a room and its what THEY want? I am sure if Felicity asked for a room to herself than Jinger would give her that
DeleteLet’s her?! Maybe she doesn’t want anymore children!
DeletePerhaps the girls prefer to share a room. At any rate, why would you need to hope they have more kids? That's between them.
DeleteA seven year old girl does not need her own bedroom. Evie will be 5 years old next month, they probably like being together
Delete@11:36 That was my thinking too. I kinda think they are done.
DeleteEveryone deserves their own private space. Jinger probably doesn't know this, the way she had to grow up. I had my own room and it was wonderful to get away from my pesky sister and have my own space to think, dream, imagine, create, etc. It's also better for homework and studying as you get older.
Delete4:50 Evie is 4. Bottom line.
DeleteLets her?! Maybe she doesn't want anymore. Also, she's an adult. She doesn't need anyone's permission to do anything! It's not like she's a 10-year-old who needs to ask mommy and daddy if she can have potato chips.
DeleteShe totally showed her one daughter. The blur didn't work, nor did the edit. How is this protecting your kids by "not showing them online"? They need to learn that privacy is a gift you give your family and yourself. It may mean a pay cut but it's invaluable and not something you can buy or get back once given away.
ReplyDeleteThe daughter who was home during the work came dancing in and out at one point, and was fully visible then. It was when the baby was making noises too. It may have been edited out by now?
DeleteIt was Evie who was visible face-on. You could stop the video and see her. She looks like a 50/50 combo of Jinger and Jeremy. Not particularly one more than the other.
DeleteJingers love for her family shines through in everything she does. The makeover looks beautiful and the girls joy in seeing it was just awesome to see. 😊
ReplyDeleteJinger's a trad wife from a trad wife family so it's not cute to hear her say she can't plan their meals or shop for food and she has to have it show up on her doorstep in a box. Even if she's just promoting that company, it's still not giving the image she thinks it is. I thought at one time (when first married) she had a cooking channel and was trying to show how well she could cook? Confusing.
ReplyDeleteYes she tried to do a cooking series. Showed herself shopping for ingredients. Then put sweetened condensed milk in a casserole instead of evaporated milk. So maybe it's better that someone else gives her the ingredients and cooking directions! lol
DeleteThey are throwing anything they can out there to see what sticks and brings in revenue. What happened to the coffee roasting venture? The donuts named after Jinger?
DeleteIf some company paid me to hawk meal delivery I would do it! What’s wrong w that?
DeleteDo you really Jinger cares about your rude opinion about if her girls share a room? I doubt it. Her home her choice not yours
ReplyDeleteI’m surprised people are mom shaming Jinger…she seems like a nice lady.
ReplyDeleteJinger has definitely followed in Jeremy’s footsteps ego wise.
ReplyDeleteIn the beginning she would share scripture or post nature every now and then along other things. However, now it seems to be when they are out spending money, doing renos, vacations. We all do those things, but don’t feel a need to them show off. That’s the vibe the Vuolo’s give and Jeremy appears to love it. They show a very materialistic side.
At least Jeremy has stopped posting endless pictures of his shoes, his clothes, his pens, his watches, his golf games, and his restaurant meals. (Or has he?) Maybe he realized it wasn't a good look for a preacher. But he sure was very publicly proud of those material things for awhile, wasn't he.
DeleteThey don't owe anyone a explanation of how they live they are adults. Very rude comment
DeleteThey are like many other middle class families. No big deal regarding their lifestyle. Probably very nice people.
