Future Pilot Gracie?

For a number of years, the Duggars have attended the EAA AirVenture air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The event was canceled in 2020, but it's back this year, and John Duggar took Abbie and little Grace. Below is a photo of Grace, as well as links to snapshots from past years.

    1. I didn't know Abbie was a pilot.

    2. She’s not a pilot, she is a nurse, even though she hasn’t worked since she got married.

    3. But did she get her pilot's license?

      Delete
    4. @5:23 she does have her pilot's license.

    5. This is the OP - yes she does have a pilot license.

    6. Odds are with both parents having licenses, she'll get one as soon as she's old enough, LOL! Also, Abbie has been doing volunteer nursing a few times since she got married.

  11. That is a precious picture! So sad with what the Duggers are going through and praying that Josh might be innocent of the charges. I’m sorry that it has affected the whole family. I’m not saying that child pornography isn’t an abominable act...I just pray that Josh was set up and he did not look for this. And that all of his siblings and parents will not have a bad reputation because of this.
But this picture is so sweet, thank you so much for posting it!

  15. Grace is adorable. Hope she had a great day. May God bless her with many happy birthdays. Please thank the family for sharing her picture.

  16. Why do you take a child that age to an air show? It can't be good for them if they have to wear hearing protection, not to mention another issue going on in the country right now. JD could have gone with his brothers and left his wife and daughter at home.

    1. Maybe you should stay home everytime your family goes somewhere.

    2. Then everyone would have complained about how he was out having fun and leaving his wife to take care of the baby.

    3. How is it "bad" for her if they gave her ear protection?

      Delete
    4. Maybe his wife wanted to go and they didn't want to leave their child in another state.

    5. Wow I was so happy to see all positive, supportive comments, only to see your comment because someone just has to have something bad to say. "Leave his wife and daughter home" like they are objects. Maybe they wanted to go..... ever think of that? Please dont, honestly, just dont comment stuff like this

    6. Excuse me??!! Nothing wrong with him taking his wife and daughter!!!! 🤷‍♀️

    7. That what the life is for- creating memories, with your wife/husband, child/children. People do not get married and have kids so that to leave them at home.

    8. I wouldn't take a baby to an air show in a pandemic either. Don't feel bad OP.

    9. Life is for LIVING! Don't let the fear mongers get you down!

    10. She looks like she was having a blast.

    11. Air shows are primarily an outdoor event, which makes possible for social distancing. Grace appears to be having a good time.

    12. @9:03 I'm going to take it you're not married or have children. They're a family, families do things together. Grace is adorable.

    13. I don't think it's wise to travel with the unvaccinated right now. Grace is not old enough for that but certainly old enough to catch something. I doubt any of you want to see that happen.

    14. My friend's daughter works at a preschool. They've had to shut down for awhile this week because of a Covid outbreak that started in the 2yr. old group. Kids that age are definitely catching and spreading the virus.

    15. One of my first memories is going to an air show, I remember sitting in the pram and looking up at the jets that’s how little I was! I didn’t have ear protection, I remember how loud those planes were and how exciting it was! Grace will be just fine! Probably so exciting for her!!!!

    16. Prob cuz Abbie is so into flying too she wanted to go.

    17. There's always going to be that one "Negative Nancy" who convinces her friend to comment in defense of her.🙄

    18. Abbie's a nurse, I'm sure that she wouldn't do anything to put any of them in danger. So true @ 12:13.

    19. To 8:46 : Abbie is also a pilot.

    20. I've read documentation that both the vaxxed and the unvaxxed, alike, can (1) GET Covid, (2) SPREAD Covid, and (3) DIE FROM Covid. So why don't we just enjoy this cute picture of family fun? Is there NO PLACE we can go nowadays to avoid the fear-mongering?

      Delete
    21. Fear mongering? Covid is a reality for all of us. Had all of us taken it seriously last year, we might not be in the boat we're in now. That's reality, not fear mongering.

    22. I've been to some air shows and seen plenty of young children there, as well as babies. Also, older people wear ear protection including the ground crew. Everyone has fun. You can wear ear protection and still have fun.

  17. Looks like if you wear those on your ears, the bow headbands need to be skipped for awhile. Remarkable.

  18. Such a beautiful little girl, love her little outfit & the matching pink ear defenders. Hopefully by the time Gracie grows up, she can do anything she wants & if that includes a life of academia & a career I feel John & Abbey will be the progressive parents needed to allow Gracie to do whatever she wants to.

    1. Fuzzyferet, I hope so too. It looks like Jill is with her two. At least John and Abbie are using common sense about having babies. It's nice to see you back posting again.

  19. I live in Wisconsin and have never been to EAA, usually it's when my family has the annual get together up in Eagle River, WI.

  20. I think Gracie will make a wonderful piolet and even some of her cousin's. She looks beautiful in her dress. I like watching them on YouTube but wish there was more to watch. Thanks for the updates please keep the blog going Lillie and Ellie. Natasha b
