    1. I think they are just protecting their show by not giving out so many previews. Smart move in my opinion.

    2. What do you expect,an announcement every month? Wait until all the kids are adult, then we'll be hearing a different announcement from someone different every few months, we'll at least until they all marry and all finish having kids, there will be nineteen adults to get news from.

    3. @ 1:27 I hope that by the time all 19 kids are grown that they won't feel obligated to share their lives with a TV camera or with anyone else for that matter. At some point they need to reclaim their lives as their own. We could easily be at that point right now.

    4. I don't know of any reality show families that stay on the air indefinitely, so I'm sure they will be coming to the end of having their lives lived in the public like this. Seems like things go terribly wrong if a family stays too long. Big World, Little People are just one example of things going bad, but the kids all got off tv now and are living private lives, which is healthier and better for them and their little ones. Duck Dynasty is an excellent example of a family that did it perfect.

    5. 7:03- I agree. There's an old saying, "Less is more." I also don't think it's fair for the minor kids to be filmed and have personal information/photos posted on public social media.

    6. Anon 3:16 You are right, it's not fair to the little ones. I think it's become an addiction to the kids now. I remember when TLC took the family off the air because of the Josh thing and one of the younger boys had made a statement about how he missed being famous. I found that really telling. The kids never knew what it was like to have a regular private life because the parents never allowed that. Now they are doing the same thing to their children.

    7. I agree. Last year at the same time they were expecting 3 grandbabies (Joy, Kendra and Jinger). Also Jill started having babies before Jessa. Anna's kids come every 2 years, and the youngest Mason will be 2 in September. Josiah and Lauren got married in June, over 7 months ago. One would expect a honeymoon baby. Joseph and Kendra's son is 8 months, and they could be expecting another baby too. Like for sure it could be more activity.

  2. Sorry Jessa, but we do know what to expect, courtships, engagements, marriage, pregnancies, births, raising kids, but its good enough for us,that's why we watch the program and because we love the family.

  5. Jessa says the same thing every year. "You never know what will happen next." If they can't change what she says, why don't they at least recruit some other family member to say it? They enough for a different family member every year. You almost can't tell which year it was filmed. It is fun to follow the family though.

  7. Cant wait! Love this family

  8. There really aren't any surprises, as the show is all very predictable. If the Duggars had not been so large a family, they'd never have been noticed or put on TV in the first place. The younger generation has been able to take advantage of that.

  9. I'm so excited! I have missed them

  10. Is the whole family back on the show?

  11. I'll bet the Duggars themselves don't even watch the show any more, it's so far behind.

  12. Please this show has run its course, and it's time for it to be cancelled.

    1. That's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but some of us actually enjoy the show. If you don't like it, don't watch!

    2. I think they'd do better to have specials rather than to do these rehashes of stuff. But the die hard Duggar fans can't seem to get enough of it.

  13. Looking forward to the new season.
I think some of the enthusiasm is lacking due to the long breaks in between seasons.
But it remains a great show and a great family!

  14. Long breaks? Seems like the last season just ended a few weeks ago.

    1. You must be really busy. It's been several months since the last episode. They have done a few "sneak peeks" and now are going to rehash all the stuff in the "peeks" in the new season.

  15. God’s miracles are so full of love. Congratulations Ben and Jessa. If you do have another process boy, you will just go forward working from son up til son down!

  17. Dear Duggars and extended family, my parents and I enjoy watching counting on as a family. We can't wait to see John-David propose to Abbie but we also can't wait for the birth of Baby Vuolo. We hope everyone will enjoy it with us. Also come Monday February 11th starting with the count down to the new season I hope there are great ratings this season. thank you, I hope everyone has a happy time watching it. Natasha B

    1. If you truly "can't wait," you don't have to. These events have already aired; you can probably find them online.

    2. The new episodes have not been aired yet, and I'm sure Natasha has already seen the clips since she's a regular around here. Your "helpfulness" came across as unkindness.
