  1. I think what Diana is doing is wonderful. Kudos to Jeremy and Jinger for helping out, being involved.

  2. I'm glad Jinger and Jeremy are helping with this event. His parents seem so nice and caring.

  3. What a wonderful program! It’s a bit ironic though that jinger is involved now.

    1. Ironic? How so?

    2. Why is it ironic that Jinger supports SWAN4Kids?

    3. Ironic? It's a beautiful thing to assist one's mother-in-law in an endeavor close to her heart. What a great way to show care and love.

    4. Since this program is in Pennsylvania why would you expect Jinger to have known about it or been involved in it prior to her marriage to Jeremy?

    5. I don’t understand, why is it ironic?

    6. It is ironic because Jinger has known Jeremy since 2015 and she just started getting involved within the last year. Why couldn’t she get involved after marriage or before? This isn’t the royal family you don’t have to be married to be involved

    7. 11:33, what if she and Jeremy had broken up? That would have made it really awkward for her to be involved with his mothers program

    8. Yeah, trying to imply her family did not want her to join this program which is very untrue. This is important to all the Duggar family. You can support a program without joining. Jinger and Jeremy OFFICIALLY joined. I guess you don't know how programs like this work. There is a huge difference between supporting and joining. I can't believe I am even given this speech to you.

    9. Well you don’t know Jinger or her family personally so you don’t know her reasons for not getting involved. Also Jeremy’s mother may have just started this organization. So you really need to chill and stop making assumptions.

    10. 11:33, irony has a specific definition. Your explanation doesn't shed any light on the use of the word.

    11. What happened to the Ministries Jinger and her family were involved in? We never hear about those ministries anymore. What happened to the south American orphaned kids that Jinger was helping? Why do we hear about Jeremy's Mom's ministry and crickets about all those Duggar ministries that they use to be involved with? This isn't right!

    12. Good questions, 4:01.

    13. Anon 4:01. That's a good question and I wonder that myself. My sister's and I have been involved in the Bethany House Ministry and when we got married we still stay involved in it. My husband works full time but he still takes time to help out at our local food bank which is awesome for a man who works as hard as he does to still take this time to care about hurting people. We are both young so if we can do it the Duggar s who don't have full time jobs can do it too.

    14. The Duggar family isn't as vocal about their volunteer work as they were in years past and the ministries that they do promote, the Forsyth's family camp and SWAN4KIDS, are connected through family.
The Duggars have shown their support for SOS ministries and Mama Carmen's work for orphans in Guatemala for almost as long as they have been on television. The orphanage that Jill and Jessa visited on Counting On was run by Mama Carmen's organization. Mama Carmen's coffee shop is the coffee shop Jessa and Jinger featured in that one episode and gives its proceeds to the orphanage.
SOS ministries has also been featured in 19KC through mission trips and CO since Jill and Derick worked for them while in Central America. It would be interesting to know what the Duggar family's relationship with SOS is now that the Dillards parted ways with SOS. The family used to take yearly missions there in the early years and then multiple trips when the Dillards were down there. They haven't mentioned SOS since Jill and Derick moved back to the US.

    15. Anon 1:12 I think the problem is, is that there is never any charity or mission work mentioned anymore. I'm sure if they are so outspoken about Jeremy's Mom's ministry then it they were involved in any charity work it would have been mentioned. I think the family has moved in a different direction and it's clouded by money and spending now. We don't even see or hear any mention of rescue help like we do with some of the Bates boys volunteering to help victims. The Duggar s are not even in any pictures of rescue help so that aren't doing that anymore either.

  4. Jeremy’s mom is so nicely dressed and has an up to date lovely hair style.

Why is it ironic that Jinger is involved? Really. Just an honest question.

    1. I can't come up with a legitimate reason to call it ironic, can you? Seems like a perfect fit for Jinger, who loves music and comes from a family who worked to develop a heart for helping others.

    2. U think the person who threw that one out is just trolling.

      Delete
    3. I don't think the person who said that, knows what "ironic" really means.

  6. It isn't ironic. I believe that was passive aggressive.

It is lovely that Jinger is helping. If her notability and fame bring extra attention to the cause, that's a blessing! We should use everything we are entrusted, fame included, to glorify God and serve others.

  7. Did Jinger get extensions? Her hair looks suddenly longer and fuller. It's very pretty.

    1. It’s too long in my opinion. She could donate some hair and it would still be long.

    2. 12:56 so you are one of those people that love to pick on anything the Duggars do, right? lol. I love it. I love what they do irritates people like you. At least she isn't one of those women who cuts her hair so short that she looks like a man to prove a point that she can have a hairstyle like a man if she wants lol :'D

    3. Jinger is the only Duggar daughter/sister with natural curly hair - she most lightly straightens it which would make it look/appear longer. All the Duggar girls take pride in their LONG hair. Michelle had her hair cut years ago - about the time Marcus was born . . . she looked lovely but she remarked she likes it longer. In her case I think it is too long.

    4. I have a friend who's battling ovarian cancer. Her hair is "so short that she looks like a man." 12:36AM, your comment is inconsiderate, no matter how many lol's you add. If you see a woman with short hair, maybe there's a reason other than "to prove a point."

      Delete
    5. 12:36- I wear my hair short because it's easy to care for and I simply feel that I look better this way. Your assumption that women who have short hair have some kind of agenda is ridiculous.

      Delete
    6. A "woman's hairstyle" is any hairstyle a woman is wearing.

      Delete
    7. 12:36 women who wear their hair short look like women with short hair. Your comment that they look like men is offensive.

    8. 12:36 made one of the rudest comments I have ever read on here, and that is saying something. In defending the Duggars which is admirable, you have offended many people who don’t deserve it. It doesn’t really work to fight meanness with meanness. For all the various reasons people have given, 12:36, next time you have a thought that will do more harm than good, keep it to yourself.

    9. Offended PCer's on here, as usual.

  8. Jinger doesn't need to cut her hair. She doesn't need to donate it either. It's her hair and she doesn't need busybodies telling her what she should do!

  9. JINGER YOU'RE A GREAT GIRL, AND I LOVE U 3!!!!!!
