Duggars Go Deep

With all the struggles the family has been through with Josie, would Michelle do it over again?
"I probably would," the mom of 19 told TLC, tearing up. "Because I have Josie. The easy choices in life, I think we could miss out on some of the greatest blessings that God has for us."

Are the Duggars up for another baby?
Jim Bob gave TLC an honest answer: "It's a little scary thinking about if Michelle gets pregnant again. We don't know if we'll be in the same situation again or not, but we really believe that we still need to leave our future in God's hands."

The Duggars have put their lives out on national TV and have agreed to be transparent, with the goal of encouraging others and sharing that children are a blessing from God. If someone offered you a show on TLC, would you accept?

  1. No! I don't have the patience Michelle has with her kids! And, our life is just not that interesting. I do love watching the Duggars - truly an inspirational family.

  3. I do think that the Duggars have achieved their goal of being an encouragement. I hope their show continues for many years because of this. They've made us rethink many things about our faith and family life - for the better!

  4. Thanks for the encouragement! As to how we learned to maintain a blog, research and trial and error. There is a lot of free material online that explains the different aspects of blogging. Looking at other blogs has also helped us get ideas.
We are blessed to have the privilege to encourage others through blogging!

  6. I would have a tv show about our life if offered...depending on the genre of the show.

  7. If TLC offered me a show, I would accept! Although I can't guarantee my life is as interesting as the Duggar family. ;)

  8. I don't know if would be on TLC because my life is pretty dull unlike The Duggars. The Duggars seem to be busy with something or other.

I still support the Duggars about letting God bless them with as many kids that God wants them to have after all every human being is a part of Gods plan.

  9. I think I'd go nuts having a film crew around all the time! They handle it very well. I would be concerned too about the lack of privacy for my kids.

  10. Yes, children are a gift from God. And I have lost a beautiful little girl, who lived for minutes; she was full term, however. Blood incompatibility was not identified well in 1980s. We so appreciate the problems little Josie faces. Bob and Michelle have a full house with little ones, but not a record. In the 1880-90s my grandmother had 27! So large families can happen.

  11. I say if we went meant to control our lives, G-d wouldnt give us brains. There would be emaculate conception. He/she give us a choice. Some are blessed in other ways. It s not that i am against the Duggars choice per se,but the choice can cross aline. Not all are parent material. The verse they get Quiverfull from is from another time and culture. I hope some naive person doesn't think raising 19 kids is easy.
