How was your Christmas celebration? The day after Christmas is also very special for us because it is the day we published our first post on this blog.

The year was 2009, and season three of the Duggars' reality show--called 18 Kids and Counting at that point--had just come to a close. Josie Duggar was only two weeks old and was fighting for her life in the NICU. (Her emergency birth would air on January 31st, 2010.) Josh was the only married Duggar sibling, and two-month-old Mackynzie was the only Duggar grandchild. Things sure have changed since then!

We are thrilled to be entering our 10th year of blogging about about the Duggar family, and we are grateful to all our loyal readers from across the world.

Meet the Vuolos in PA

Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo will be traveling to Pennsylvania for a public event next Wednesday, and they want to meet you!

The event is the Make An Extraordinary Difference Gala, and it will benefit the organization Swan 4 Kids. Founded by Jeremy's mother, Diana Vuolo, SWAN 4 Kids provides "life-changing intervention for children whose parent(s) have a history of incarceration by mentoring them through the disciplines of music lessons and performance."

Book Tour Starts Today

After spending a couple days in New York City, the Duggars are ready to kick off their Growing Up Duggar book tour. This evening, the family will be at the Barnes & Noble in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. The store has started handing out numbered wristbands to manage the crowd, so if you plan to attend, head over and pick one up. The event is not expected to sell out, but you should arrive early just in case. (Thanks to one of our loyal readers for this information!)
