Mason's middle name is Garrett, which is a family name from Michelle's side. Michelle's parents were Garrett and Ethel Ruark, and three Duggars now bear the name Garrett--Joseph Garrett Duggar, Garrett David Duggar, and Mason Garrett Duggar.

Duggar #7 Turns 24

Wishing Joseph Duggar a very happy 24th birthday! Joe is a brother to 18 siblings, husband to Kendra (Caldwell) Duggar (married 16 months), and father to Garrett David Duggar (seven months old).

Joe and Kendra Celebrate 1 Year

Today is Joseph and Kendra Duggar's one-year wedding anniversary.

These two have experienced a lot of changes in their first year of marriage. Around the time that they announced their pregnancy to the family, they finished renovations on their house (located on the Duggar property) and moved in. On their nine-month anniversary, they welcomed little Garrett David Duggar. Happy one-year, Joe and Kendra!

Duggars Celebrate 34 Years

The past month-and-a-half have been extremely busy for the Duggar family. Since the beginning of June, they have celebrated seven birthdays (Marcus Duggar, Michael Duggar, Anna Duggar, James Duggar, Samuel Dillard, Meredith Duggar, and Jim Bob Duggar), welcomed two grandchildren (Garrett David Duggar and Felicity Nicole Vuolo), and pulled off a wedding (Josiah and Lauren Duggar).

To top it all off, today is Jim Bob and Michelle's 34th wedding anniversary. Last year, they took a trip to Kauai, Hawaii. With all of the festivities that have taken place this summer, they might just want to celebrate with some relaxation.

Watch Garrett's Birth

The new season of Counting On doesn't officially start until July 30th, but TLC will air a sneak peek of Garrett's birth ahead of the season premiere. The 30-minute mini-special airs at 10:30pm on Friday, July 6th, and 1:30am on Saturday, July 7th. Be sure to tune in.

In the first glimpse, Joseph and Kendra Duggar are ready to welcome their baby. With 10 days to go until her due date, Kendra goes into labor and heads to the hospital. Only a few hours later, she gives birth to their baby boy, Garrett David Duggar.

Duggar Babies By Weight

Since 2009, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have welcomed 11 grandchildren, and they are looking forward to the due date of their 12th in July. More than half of those babies have been born weighing between 9 lbs, 3 oz and 10 lbs, 3 oz. This topic comes up quite a bit in the comments section, so we have created a list showing each baby's weight and length. The colors indicate individual families.

Garrett is 3 Days Old

For those who haven't yet heard the news, Joseph and Kendra Duggar welcomed their son, Garrett David Duggar, on June 8th. All the details, as well as a video message from the parents, can be found on Saturday's post. Garrett was the lightest of the 11 Duggar grandchild, although only six ounces lighter than cousin Meredith Duggar.

Joe and Kendra Welcome a Baby Boy

The newest grand-Duggar has arrived! Garrett David Duggar was born yesterday, June 8th, weighing 7lbs 8oz and measuring 20.5 inches long. What's the story behind the name Garrett? It's Joe's middle name, as well as Michelle's father's first name. It also happens to be the middle name that Josh and Anna Duggar chose for their fifth child, Mason.

Garrett made his appearance nine days ahead of his June 17th due date, on Joseph and Kendra Duggar’s nine-month anniversary. Both mom and baby are doing well. To view the first photo of the family of three, visit the Duggars’ website.
