John and Abbie Welcome No. 3

Just one month after Jana Duggar Wissmann announced the birth of her son, twin John David Duggar and his wife, Abbie Duggar, have shared more baby news. Their baby girl arrived last month! Both Duggars opted to wait a few weeks to share their news with the world. John and Abbie have not made their daughter’s name public, nor have they said whether they will ever reveal it.

  1. She's absolutely adorable. JD and Abbie have been revealing less info with each birth so it doesn't surprise me that they haven't revealed their newborn daughter's name or birthdate and it's their right and decision to not share that info with the public if they don't want to.

  2. Congratulations! I hope they do reveal the name because we already know the names of their first two kids,so why not?

    2. Just because they shared the names of their first two kids does not mean they need to share the name of third child.

    3. Everyone’s understanding of what to share on social media is evolving as we get further into this social media driven world. I posted about my first three kids on blogs and Facebook, then when my fourth came along more than a decade ago, I completely left social media. Today, I would never ever post a single picture online of any family member. Everyone has to decide for themselves what is best for their family, and that decision can and should change over time. It is smart to keep reevaluating.

  3. I respect that, but if that's how they really feel why not just go offline or just not share anything with fans?

  8. If they have read any previous posts and comments about the families new babies names then I certainly understand why they're leary to share their little ones name. People can be so righteous and cruel and it ruins it for everyone else who would genuinely love to know without adding judgmental remarks. Congratulations to their beautiful family on their new baby girl!! 🩷💗💖

  12. Congratulations! They better reveal her name soon before one of the siblings or JB and Michelle slips up on social media revealing the name.

  13. I don't understand. You want the world to know you had a daughter but you want the name to be private. You want attention (and payment) from online presence but you want privacy. Seems contradictory. All the Duggar kids need to leave social media once and for all. Support your families some other way. Fame is not a job description or a life-long plan. It can and does bring unhappiness.

    2. Exactly. However, it's easier than working 40 hours a week at a regular job. Just look at all the trips they get to take. They obviously like the perks being on social media gives them.
