  1. Really? I wonder why they're being so coy about this.

  2. And really? Are they trying to be funny, I don't see the humor.

  3. Congratulations on your beautiful baby, thank you for sharing your special moments. What a blessing that the blood clot did not cause any damage to the baby, or you. Your mother is amazing, and it was so sweet that Jordan was able to cut the cord. Enjoy your beautiful family! I’m thinking your baby is a girl?

  4. We can't know the sex until the kids see the baby. Was the pink hat a fooler? I think it's a boy.

    2. I would hope her other children have seen the baby by now since he or she was born almost 2 weeks ago. I’m wondering if maybe this is their last baby and they want to keep us in eternal suspense as long as possible for one last thrill but I am probably wrong

  5. Congratulations Jessa and Ben! Someone said on the comments section of YouTube on the 2nd segment that the baby is a boy. Is that true?

  6. They haven't run out of "jessa in labor" video yet?

  7. Because the baby spent time in NICU and had issues with breathing. Rumour has it he's a boy, and his name is Judah Benjamin. Not sure who started that rumour!

    1. if that is his name, that was supposed to be Jackson's name before they changed it

    2. That's why they shouldn't do this sort of thins. It leads to speculation and rumors

  8. Just watched the birth video. I reacted exactly like Jessa after giving birth to my babies. There’s no other experience like it! My first was a big baby (a bit over 10 lbs.) like this one.

  9. When is Jessa telling us the name and gender of her baby?

    1. When a magazine will pay for an article. The children have had days to tell others now. I'll find out from a secondary source and won't watch part 3 of you tube. They dragged it on too long.

    2. @ 12:00pm: At the moment, none of the married couples are known to be expecting a baby. Whoever announces next, will be having Michelle & Jim Bob's 40th grandchild.

  12. I was thinking they would reveal the gender and name in part 2 but hopefully they will in part 3

  14. Sounds like their Birth Story is going to the highest bidder. I guess they're still evaluating the offers. Very sad.

    1. Agreed 3:00. It is sad when you turn your child's birth into a public spectacle and try to monetize it. I don't click on their videos.

    2. Be kind. These people are trying to live very decent, simple lives. They have children to take care of. If they can sell their birth story to a magazine, it’s a nice thing for them and one they deserve after a childhood in the spotlight and our continued interest. Jessa has faced a whole lot of pressure with absolute grace. I admire her strength and poise. She’s a credit to her mother.

    3. Sounds like you’re a bit jealous that you’re not famous like them and can’t make money the way that they do. So sad

    4. @3:00 It is sad. Another monetizing of a birth in the Duggar family. No different from the others. Then the games start. Don't look at his/her face. But do click on our pictures and videos taken from behind and buy the products we sponsor. Buy the magazines we sell our stories to. Listen to our podcasts. And can we please have another TV show for the bigger bucks? I really can't imagine what goes through the minds of parents who advertise themselves and their kids like that. What a pity they don't know the freedom of being private.

  15. I like Jessa. I always have. But waiting this long to announce the name and gender is ridiculous.

  16. I can understand if they want to be out of the public eye but they do not . They have talked about this pregnancy for months so of course their fans would like to know the sex and name of the new baby. Very cruel of them to not tell the news to people who follow them.

  17. Really not necessary for three parts of birth story

  18. Obviously they can do whatever they want in terms of announcing their baby. But to me such a long wait to share the news with their fans is ridiculous. They have lost me as a fan.

  19. Does Jessa really think her birth story in 3 parts is as exciting as waiting for the next Harry Potter book or the next episode of Game of Thrones? Or lining up at midnight for Nintendo Switch 2 to drop?
